    Strawberry Yogurt Milk Tea
    Chris M.

This place is down the street from my office and a little off the beaten path but would highly recommend this place. Start off with the staff is suuuuuper friendly and helpful. I feel like this goes a long way in the food industry and they crushed that aspect. Great decorations and few inside as well. I forgot to take pics because it was a quick visit but was very nice I got the strawberry yogurt milk tea. Very very good. Obviously it's strawberry and milk so not super crazy but I enjoyed this a lot because they used fresh strawberries mixed in with it! I also got the crispy tofu , a solid salt n pepper tofu with a peanut dipping sauce. I liked the sauce but maybe would have preferred something a little lighter. Like a sweet and sour or something. Either way still good.

I didn't know vegetarian food could taste this good. Must get: - Quang Style Noodle, 5/5: a rarer central vietnamese sauced noodle dish only offered at a few spots around the bay, and by far the most tasty noodle bowl on the menu - Lotus Root Salad, 4.5/5: very unique version with strawberry vinaigrette Enjoyed pretty much every dish so far, and good portions. Note that their menu hasn't been updated in years, check with staff on off the menu items. Service: kind Vibe: just a simple clean space to eat, tucked inside a remote plaza, conducive for secret cult meetings under the fluorescent lights. Instagram: TianTianEats

The perfect happy hour spot! When in Santa Clara I recommend stopping here for a quick meal or happy hour. Affordable pricing, fresh ingredients, and quick service made this a perfect stop. The staff gave us great recommendations including boba tea flavors and bubble pairings and meal recommendations. I will definitely be back for boba and happy hour treats!

This place was amazing! Such a huge variety of not only vegan food but fun boba drinks as well. Definitely will be coming back to try more things. We had: * Hot version of ube crema coffee (hot coffee with ube cream on top) -super delicious but the temp differences were a little strange at first. Pretty sweet but very good! * Hot taro milk tea - DELISH no notes * Vegan chicken pho - Loved it! Also had three different textures of soy protein so I loved the variety. * Vegan Tom Kha - I'm not a huge fan of Tom Kha to begin with but it was really nice having a vegan version to try. All in all pretty tasty and they have really cute decor like this fun flower wall that really added to the ambiance. Can't wait to come back again!

Wanted to love this place, and the portions were big but unfortunately the flavors were just not there for me. The spring rolls were good, and the papaya salad was decent although very sweet and the vermicelli bowl was mostly noodles and barely any protein. Not bad for a vegan spot, but didn't quite hit the craving for viet food.

Happy Flower is really really good! Tucked and hidden away but a hidden gem, I order to go and eat in whenever I can.

It's probably a good thing this place isn't close to my house because I'd be here all the time! They had updated some of their wall decorations to incorporate a mural of cherry blossoms & fake blooms which is super cute! I feel happy just walking into this restaurant! The service has remained consistent. Quick, friendly and the food prepared to perfection. I've ordered either the All Seasons Sampler (of rolls) or the Autumn Rolls, depending on the number of people in my party. Also always a hit is the Crispy Tofu. It's lightly fried, super crispy and never heavy or greasy feeling. My non-vegan friend ordered the chow mein and was blown away by the freshness of the veggies and the aromatic shitake mushrooms used. The noodles were lightly fried to a crisp and not super greasy. Not sure how they fry their foods and not have them turn out heavy and oily but this place does it right! Today, I went with the combo vermicelli bowl. This can be found at most pho and Vietnamese restauratns but what I particularly love about how Happy Flower creates theirs is that it includes shaved taro and fried shallots. It makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the overall flavor. Be sure to ask for their off-menu beverages. It's not always posted but Happy Flower offers an Ube Crema coffee which is AMAZING! If you love ube and coffee, this is its lovechild. You will be very happy you ordrered this! Best of all, for those who are lactose intolerant (like my non-vegan friend), this was a sweet treat with no consequences, so that was much appreciated. Another tip: Buy 3 specialty drinks and get one free so come with friends!

An amazing family run business serving some delicious vegan food! Everything we tried was great so far. Highlight being curry noodles, various rolls and bahn mi. Even the sodas and chili oils are homemade from scratch by them. I suggested the owner to sell the chili oil and she finally did! Must buy! The ambience is calm and relaxing, and service is great! The owner is very kind and gave me a free drink which was delicious!

    Four Seasons Sampler

In Milpitas this time and continue trying out Vegetarian Vietnamese foods. I was attracted by the Sampler rolls. It was good but just nothing stands out in flavors wise. The food came out fast and look pretty. My main courses are pretty to look but also lacking in flavors. Maybe it's just this month I had too my Vegan food to compare, so maybe I will give it another try when I'm in the Sunnyvale area.

My friend and I were looking for something light to have for dinner before getting dessert. Since it was so hot out, we wanted something that was cool to eat. After looking around Yelp, we decided to try this place out as they had some spring rolls that looked good. When we got here, it was relatively empty, but filled out quickly after we sat down. We ended up ordering the rolls sampler with a ton of different rolls. Each of the rolls was good and we enjoyed the whole plate. Service was good and everyone was friendly. Our waters were filled when needed. We both said we would be back for the rolls again. As this restaurant is vegan/vegetarian, it would be a nice change of pace from our regular spots. 1 star off is for the plastic wrap around the rolls - while I understand it's to keep them fresh until eaten, it would be better to remove before serving to prevent accidental ingestion of the plastic and would just look better. Adults should be fine, but little ones may not pay close attention to what they grab and eat.

We ordered the family hot pot and initially received an individual portion by mistake. After notifying DoorDash, the restaurant owner personally called me to apologize and immediately sent out the correct family-sized order. That level of care and accountability truly stood out and meant a lot to us. This is exactly why we continue to support this restaurant. We've been ordering from them for quite some time and were regulars back when they were still operating under their previous name. The food has always been consistently delicious, comforting, and high quality, and the service, both in person and through delivery, has been nothing short of excellent. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them makes all the difference. Their responsiveness, sincerity, and commitment to making things right reflect how much they value their customers. Highly recommend this spot for both the incredible food and the exceptional customer service. We'll absolutely continue ordering from here and supporting them.

    Beyond Meat String Beans
    Andy N.

Happy Flower Eatery is one of the best spots in the South Bay for vegan Southeast Asian food. I've tried many spots in my vegan journey and didn't expect to come across a new favorite in the last few months. Our group of four ordered a combination of items from their Sampler Appetizer of rolls, Salted Fish Fried Rice, Mushroom Stew, and Beyond Meat String Beans Stir-Fry. Portions were great for every dish and the flavors were all there. My friends couldn't believe some of the items were plant-based but it goes to show that seasoning and preparation make a difference to any dish. Service was very friendly as well. The manager checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our food and I appreciated their service. The area itself doesn't have much but well worth it to experience some great Vietnamese and Southeast Asian inspired vegan cuisine.

    All Season Sampler
    Francie M.

Stopped here for linner after a walk in Baylands park nearby. We ordered the all season sampler, because we couldn't decide on one type of role. This came with two each of the spring, summer, autumn, winter rolls as well as four fried egg rolls and three different sauces. Most of the rolls were fine, but my favorite was the autumn (I think! Not labeled) roll which had a strip of bbq tofu or meat substitute which had great flavor. We also ordered the eggplant tofu dish which I always get because I hate cooking eggplant at home. It's very saucy and doesn't come with rice so I'd recommend adding a side order. Logistics: - indoor and outdoor seating (lovely breeze outdoors) - plenty of strip mall parking - all vegan options with no eggs, didn't see dairy - gluten free options available (but can't speak for risk of cross contamination)

While having pho at Pho Nam, I considered grabbing a few sandwiches there to bring back to the hotel. I had a hot date with Netflix later and absolutely no intention of going out again. But not far away is Cam Hung, a tiny Vietnamese sandwich shop specializing in bánh mì. It's cheap, and it's in the kind of quiet Sunnyvale strip mall where parking is not an act of war. It shares the plaza with a Chinese herbalist and acupuncturist. On a Sunday afternoon, the place was practically deserted. Perfect. I walked in and immediately realized this was much more than a sandwich counter. The tiny shop is crammed with prepared foods, spring rolls, steamed buns, Vietnamese desserts, dried snacks, candy and all kinds of things I couldn't identify but probably wanted. The main attraction, however, is the bánh mì. These are big sandwiches, and even the most expensive ones top out at around $9. I got a Chinese barbecue pork and a ham and pork roll to take back to the hotel, along with a bag of roasted candied garlic and chile peanuts. I came dangerously close to buying the peanut brittle too, but the sugar would have nailed me. Even I have limits.

I appreciate that as someone always wants Vietnamese food. The banh cuon hits as expected We also tried the banh beo, and unfortunately that one was a miss for us.
