Not a busy day on a Monday - came in at around 4:15 PM. I was solo, and was seated on a table. I've been here plenty of times in the past - I knew what I wanted to order. I saw 2 other parties seated after me and their order taken. I patiently waited and tried to flag the server and was ignored. I decided to walk away if my business is not appreciated. I made sure to let the cashier know that I was ignored on my way out. She tried to say sorry - but it's too late at that point. I saw at least 4 workers on the floor + their robot. Maybe focus more on customer than idle chit chat? read more

We stopped in on a rainy day and had steak pho after a long day at Great America. We sat immediately and got our orders relatively quick, despite how busy it was. The food quality was noticeable and the ingredients tasted clean. If we were back in the area, I would go again. 1 Star We have been coming to Pho Hoa for years, multiple times every month, going back to before my daughter was even born. It has been a longtime favorite in our family. Yesterday, my daughter was sick and specifically craving the pho from here, so I went in to get her a kids meal to go. The owner refused to sell it to me, telling me that they do not do kids meals to go. I explained that my daughter was sick and that I was simply trying to bring her favorite meal home, but he still refused. I understand that businesses have policies, but after being a loyal customer for years, I was extremely disappointed by the lack of understanding or willingness to make an exception in this situation. Unfortunately, that interaction cost them a longtime customer. After years of supporting this restaurant, we will not be returning. It is disappointing to lose a place that our family genuinely enjoyed over something that could have been handled with a little more understanding and customer service. read more

I've been coming to Pho Hoa for over a decade. It's been a dependable place for pho. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's always busy too.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My group of 5 was seated pretty fast. Honestly, for $16, the pho I had was packed with meat and noodle. The meat wasn't cut super thin to the point where it dissolved in my mouth, but it had a chew to it. The meat was still very tender and at the end, I somehow had more meat than noodle. The service was also quick. The lady who took my order was very nice. Got the get $100 in credits, get $25 and it has been one of the best pick me ups yet. I really enjoy the tendon and steak pho -- however the soup does get cold fast thus I recommend warming it up on a stove. The banh mi dip was on the expensive side for sure at ~$15 -- however, it was tasty and very refreshing. I also like the drinks a lot. My husband and I came here for dinner and have been loyal customers, visiting many times before this experience. We ordered two popcorn chicken bowls. A few bites into my meal, I discovered HAIR in my food. We called a staff member over to let her know, but she didn't apologize or ask how she could make the situation right. She simply took the bowl and returned with a new one. By that point, my appetite was gone and my stomach was already upset. When we spoke with who appeared to be the manager while checking out, we explained what had happened. Unfortunately, she was also unapologetic. The only resolution offered was a $3 discount, which felt dismissive given the situation. As returning customers, we expected better customer service and a genuine apology. Finding a hair in your food is unpleasant, but the lack of concern and accountability made the experience even more disappointing. Sadly, after this experience, we'll be taking our business elsewhere. Save your appetite for a different place. read more

Great bowl of pho, did not disappoint. The meat was tender. It was a good size bowl. My only caveat is that I only got one sprig of basil and only six leaves were on there. But honestly compared to other Vietnamese places it's less wasteful to serve it this way. Had the beef pho, pork banh mi, chicken popcorn. Everything was so good and fresh the broth on the pho was so clean and tasty. Service was quick you pick your table even tho it says wait to be seated. Some tables were still full of dishes from other people so sometimes tables are limited. My fiancé and I came here to eat before a movie at the AMC Mercado. We were enticed by the aroma of pho broth coming from the restaurant. It was late in the morning, so there weren't a lot of people eating there yet and we took a seat at a table in the center of the restaurant. The waiter gave us some menus and we decided on getting pho. I ordered pho with beef tendon while my fiancé ordered the whole works. The broth was nice and hot and there were a lot of noodles. I thought the amount of meat I had was okay but this place is much cheaper than other pho places nearby that serve the same amount of pho and meat. Decent Vietnamese place in Mercado Shopping Center. I must passed this place a few times and was never tempted to go it. However, I was a little hungry after seeing F1 and decided to give it a try. I went with the Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chop plate. It was okay, although I had hoped it was a little better. I cleared my plate and was not dissatisfied. Honestly this was pretty disappointing. I ordered a popcorn chicken bowl and found multiple hairs in my food. The pictures I posted aren't even all of it. Every time I thought I was done finding hair, there seemed to be another one. At one point, there were literally two pieces of chicken attached together by a hair. I didn't get a picture of that because by then I was so grossed out that I just threw the food away. Finding one hair is already bad enough, but finding multiple hairs throughout the bowl is honestly crazy. I ended up throwing most of it away because I didn't even want to keep eating after that. The banh mi dip is a must from here. We got it with beef and the flavors were really delicious, it was thinly sliced beef with kind of an herb mix all cooked together with classic banh mi toppings. I could have done with some more of the fresh toppings like the carrots/daikon, cilantro, and more of the fresh jalapeño, but overall the flavors were fantastic. We also tried the combination spring rolls and the avocado spring rolls which were solid, the classic peanut dipping sauce. We also got the halo halo drink which was okay, nothing super special but yummy! I'd like to try more on the menu but I will definitely be getting that banh mi every time. read more

I met up with some friends for dinner and somebody suggested Pho. I never knew about this location of Pho Hoa & Jazen Tea. The restaurant is very large. They can accommodate large parties/groups. The place is simply decorated and clean. One friend ordered the Vegetable Pho. He thought it was decent. My other friend ordered the Grilled Chicken with Rice and he thought was good. If I could give this place a 3.5 I would. 3.5 for the pho and 3 for the boba but it's just a solid and consistent place that doesn't let us down so I give them the benefit of the doubt at 4. Will it be a life changing bowl of pho? Absolutely not. Will it be hearty, satisfying, and a good bowl of pho. Yes! We come here around once a month before we see a movie at the AMC next door. The bowl of pho is delicious and the apps are solid as well. The boba has a lot to be desired in terms of better boba texture and sweetness, but it gets the job done. I love the boba here! I always get the original milk tea and always enjoy it every time. I walked out the door once after ordering a milk tea and accidentally spilled my drink all on the floor. Pho Hoa and Jaden Tea used to be so popular. I used to order 6 fried rolls and fresh squeeze orange juice at 1 am, at least 3 times a week when I was on maternity leave years ago from the Mtn View location which has since closed. A bowl of pho is also a bowl of joy on a cold day. I was happy this location was so spacious. Tables, benches, and bar tables. It's relatively clean, silverware, condiments are on the table. We had friendly and fast servers. My friend got the grilled lemongrass and pork chop with egg. He enjoyed it very much. We ordered a summer roll and the skin stuck to the plate and it was a bit mushy. The peanut sauce was kind of gloppy too. We've had so much better at pho hoa so hopefully it was just a bad day for it. The fried egg-roll tasted good. The oil it was fried in did not taste old. The sauce could have been thinned out a bit more. The wings were hot and tasted salt and peppery like they were supposed too. It feels just like a warm hug in a bowl! Their cold noodles, both spicy and non-spicy versions, are refreshing and perfect for cooling down summer heat. We also almost always order the mo deum soo yook for extra protein. It's a combination plate with boiled beef brisket, tail, and tendons. You will have to season them yourself with salt and pepper, but beef is always so soft and tender. I highly recommend ordering this only if you're dining with a group of 3 or more because the portion is huge! After finishing your meal, they'll serve you a yakult, super yummy and great for digestion (super thoughtful of them) They're busy and almost always have a waitlist, especially during peak dinner hours. From my experience, the longest I've waited was about 45 minutes, but normally it's only around 20-30 minutes. There's a boba shop nearby where you can grab a drink while waiting. Overall, I have nothing to complain about with this place. Try it once and you'll understand why everyone loves it!

They are a step above bakeries who have frozen products, but do not hit the level of premium in quality of pastry. The prices they had in the beginning were fair, but with the recent increase along with those issues, I'm sad to rate it lower.

My recent visit to the restaurant was a letdown, despite its inviting ambiance. The beautifully decorated walls and holiday decor created high expectations, but unfortunately, the food and service fell short. The chicken popcorn was a huge disappointment, tasting eerily similar to packaged chicken karage - overly processed and lacking freshness. This similarity in flavor was unsettling and unappetizing. We went to this newly opened restaurant to have a g'd time with the family. Unfortunately the service wasn't organized at all. We had a question about a drink on menu so we asked the waitress. She told us she has never taken an order for it so she didn't know... So we had to walk to the drink bar to ask the same question to another worker. I got my pho noodle without Thai mints and sprouts and the appetizer came late. My husband ordered the vermicelli bowl with prawns and grilled pork. They didn't bring a knife so he tried to cut the large pieces of pork with a fork, due to the odd shaped bowl he spilled his food. He got the food smell all over his clothes! They didn't bring his drink until our meal was almost done even though we asked the worker a couple of times. The food and price are decent but just the service isn't organized! It has become my favorite place! The Pho broth is genuine, so dark and robust you cannot see the bottom of your bowl. The veggies are fresh and the meats and noodles plentiful and delicious. I have tried as many Pho places as I can find and I will return here again and again. If you are truly tired of plain clear but strong MSG broth, Stop in here. I always order a Pho and Milk Tea with Boba. I've tried a few other dishes and everything is as good as you could hope it could be. It can get very busy in there! This review is just for the drinks. The Pho, I didnt try it yet. The restaurant is with clean interior, but the frutti tutti I ordered was so bland and bad. Imagine a watered down Gatorade w soggy and sour fruit bits. Couldnt taste the fruity flavors, couldn't taste the tea either. This place is good. I always order tutti fruity my favorite drink from the other location. But since this one is new, I come here after my nurse classes sometimes with friends. Terrible experience. We ordered drinks and was told by the waiter to seat outside. It was 3 pm and half of the seats were empty. So I guess people order noodles can have a seat but people order drinks can not. read more
