great happy hour daily!! Monday - Friday 4:30-6:30 and Weekends 2-4:30. Pros: -beautiful outdoor patio (very different vibe from inside) -fries and oysters are a great deal Cons: -it's loud (the L is literally right next to the restaurant, so heads up there) -the steak slider was incredibly dry, but 4oz of steak for $14 isn't a bad deal Would come back for drinks!

Set outside. Great atmosphere with city noises. The server was very helpful and amicable very attentive service. Went for happy hour stayed for dinner. Happy hour times are different from the week to the weekend.4:30-6:30 during the week and 2-4:30 on the weekends. I recommend the bar bites during happy hour. The Waygu beef hotdog with caviar, the steak slider. Excellent both. For drinks try the Arnold Palmer Millk Punch. Amazing drink, flavor profile incredible. Also, try the KUMQUAT SPRITZ great flavors . For dinner I recommend the 16OZ WAGYU RIBEY Westholme, Australia medium. It was fantastic! So tender and juicy. It was paired with the GLAZED ROASTED CARROTS whipped goat cheese, candied pistachio, pickled carrot. Not heavy and paired well with the steak.

Long overdue for a visit to BLVD, so I decided to pop in yesterday to check out their new happy hour menu. I'm just going to cut straight to it... THE BEEF STUFFED MUSHROOM CAPS WILL BE ONE OF THE BEST THINGS YOU EVER PUT IN YOUR MOUTH. (...pause ) No exaggeration. Shoutout to our waitress, Rosie -- phenomenal. She actually comped us the caps, which is how we even discovered them. Also, shoutout to "TJ" (I believe she was a manager). The caps were so good I ordered some to go, and she came over like, "Just so you know, these are meant to be served a certain way, so they won't be as pretty..." I said, "I DON'T CARE." LOL She laughed, I laughed... but that right there? That's service. That's care. That's people who actually take pride in what they're putting out. BLVD -- easy 5 stars for the new happy hour menu. But let me be very clear... If those mushroom caps ever disappear, I'm dropping this to a 1! Lol....Matter of fact, I dont even want to go on the chandelier side anymore if the caps aren't there lol

Came for a friend's birthday dinner while in town visiting. We had a reservation and were sat immediately upon arrival. Our waiter went over the menu and drink options and was pretty kind. We started with the oysters which were very fresh and amazing; I had the scallop dish that's served with glazed carrots and I thoroughly enjoyed the dish. I also had their cucumber mocktail which was super refreshing. The ambiance is rather classy and upscale, very dark but plenty of photo opp moments. Would recommend

Second time at BLVD! And I left impressed! First, The space is gorgeous. Very moody and sexy. The staff is amazing from the hosts to the servers and everyone in between. My very first visit we had a formal dinner for a friend's birthday. This visit me and a girl friend sat at the upstairs bar and just chatted. For this visit we kept it light. I ordered a sidecar with Hennessy, the BLVD burger and an order of fries. My go to was closed and rumor had it the burger here was good. And GOOD it was. The two bartenders upstairs were amazing! Warm, kind, very knowledgeable about the menu. They were also fun to talk to. Back to the food. Burger was moist and the garlic aioli and b sauce paired very well with it. Fries were fresh cut and tasty. If I add bacon to the burger I'll prob be back monthly. Hehehe I'll def be back for a third visit!

Tried the New Year's Eve three-course menu here and overall it was a pretty mid experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, especially the first-floor interior. When we arrived to check in for our prepaid reservation, they had overbooked and we ended up waiting about 50 minutes to be seated, which was frustrating. While they offered us a refund, its new years and not like we can just walk into another restaurant. It just felt poorly planned and overcrowded. There was also condensation dripping onto our table throughout dinner, which was kinda gross. Our server was fine and as accommodating as he could be given the situation, but the food didn't really make up for the experience. The mashed potatoes were the standout, but the salmon was overly salty. Overall, the experience fell flat and didn't feel worth the $95 price tag.

Sat at the enclosed patio bar for drinks and dessert. Bartenders were friendly and attentive - even willing to change the tv channel. The key lime tart was delicious, I highly recommend it. Loved my cocktail, too.

Visited for a friends birthday dinner. Food & drinks were pretty good. I had salmon & creamed spinach. I also had the lavendar lemon drop which was pretty good. Our server Rob was amazing. He gave recommendations & everything that he rec'd was good especially the cocktail. They have us a champagne toast to celebrate the lady fo the hr & a pretty good chocolate cake slice. I am not a chocolate cake person but this was surprisingly good! Just a heads up, they have a photography rule on their site that was not disclosed when we made our reservation. We specifically chose this place for the aesthetic & to take some pictures during the evening. Had we know about this ahead of time we would not have picked this place. I understand how it could be disruptive if it is excessive however as a paying guest we should be allowed a moment for photos, within reason. So just make sure you read that before going.

The bar menu in the afternoon is great. So many options but the mussels are my favorite.

Bar menu is great. Good prices and ton of different food options. The espresso martini is also one of the best in the city.

Had a double date with my parents and my husband here at BLVD Steakhouse. We had a 5:30 appt and got there on time. It was raining and the person at the desk offered to take our coats and umbrella. It was a bit chilly (to me) so I decided to keep my leather coat on. Inside was beautiful of course with the chandelier and the winding steps. The ambiance was grown n sexy. Our waiter was very charismatic and gave us anything our table needed. We ordered the Chicken, Ribeye steak, NY strip steak, and Salmon for the entrees. We had a side of milk rolls, mushrooms, mash potatoes, and asparagus. The whole table was able to share. Our food and drinks were good. I'll highlight a few items. We started off with the milk rolls. They were soft and dense. We paired them with the butter and the caramelized onion jelly and it turned out to be really good together. I recommend only trying one so you won't get full so fast. The salmon was delicious. Im a fan of crunchy skin so I was loving it! My mom and my husband enjoyed their steaks and thought that they were cooked perfectly. I also thought the mash potatoes were good and creamy. I was wondering what my experience here would be like since I read mixed reviews. Safe to say I had a great experience. I would recommend visiting here for a date or to celebrate an occasion.

I'm truly disappointed! Had high hopes for this spot but they let me down! Made reservations for my lady's birthday for a Tuesday evening. The star I gave was for the valet. We arrived on time and were seated immediately which is always a plus. Ordered a few drinks while we looked over the menu. I had the anjeo smash and she had the lavender lemon drop. Drinks were good just a bit sweet. Waitress came by and gave us a run down of the menu but then told us we had to put ALL our food choices in at once (starters, mains, sides, etc) at once and would not be allowed to order more after that!! I've never heard of such things in my life! So I can continue to order drinks all night but if I want to maybe enjoy another appetizer or side I can't order again after I submit my initial order! WILD! Nevertheless we continued on. Lobster bites, bone marrow, crab cake were our starters. The bone Marrow was delicious! For our main we went with the 16oz waygu ribeye which wasn't tender as it should've been and lacked flavor. But what really disappear was the ambience! The seats were torn and damaged from over use and the carpet throughout the entire place especially the staircase was FILTY! BLVD IS OFF MY LIST FOR GOOD! Especially for the price of their items with these conditions!

I have been to the Blvd Steakhouse every year for the last 3 years for my anniversary. They never disappoint. My steak is always made exactly the way I like it and the lobster is amazing. The service is impeccable. I usually sit in the chandelier room it's so elegance with nice music in the background. They have outside seating also. I highly recommend!

Let's start with the super positives! Service was incredible truly! A very tall curly haired man assisted us tonight and he was very kind and attentive! The atmosphere of the restaurant is very elegant and upscale! Super luxurious!! You have to request to sit downstairs which I'm sure is a different vibe! Upstairs around the chandelier it's a lot of waiters running cleared plates the whole night, which you'd think was kind of hidden for a luxury spot. Next the food was okay at best, and no where near the quality you'd expect for the price range! I couldn't recommend this place to anyone in good conscience with the price tag! I recently also tried Bavettes, spent half the amount of money and had leftovers! If you want somewhere that's just flash and quintessential west loop this is your spot

Do this restaurant accept walk ins?

I'm unsure. I scheduled ahead of time. They do get busy quickly. A reservation is your best bet!

    Any Dress code?

Hi Elvia, Thank you for your question! We do not have a dress code but our space lends itself to "smart casual" attire. We look forward to welcoming you in soon!

Is there a parking by this restaurant?

Hi Lyuba. Thank you for your question. Yes, there is street parking near the restaurant. We also offer valet services. We hope to see you soon!

What is the difference between high top and standard seating? Which one is the booth seating?

High top would be the tall tables while standard would be a regular table or a booth

Do you use Creekstone Farm for your meat?

Are you guys taking reservations for 10? I'd like to celebrate my birthday with my family there on Friday but unsure if thats possible.

Hi Samantha, Happy birthday! Thank you for your interest. We would love to celebrate with you, but…

Do they have a custom birthday menu? Is it a good place for romantic birthday dinner?

I went for a birthday and I recall it reading "happy birthday" at the top but no name. And YES!!!!! Verrrry romantic. I'd say more on the romantic side than for any groups!!! Sexy and intimate for sure! Enjoy!

I have a foodie 13 year old. Appropriate to bring her?

Sure! Your 13yo foodie may find something she likes and be happy to try it out. We thought that the restaurant was winning more on the "look and feel" than food/taste. Just our opinion.

What's the average cost per person?

Depends on drinks and entrees. You can get a good steak for $30 but if you're eating the Seafood Tower ($150) it's gonna be higher. Lets play it safe and say $100 per person. That's a nice evening out with meal and two drinks.

Can one bring a birthday cake here?

I'm not sure, they sell desserts so I doubt it BUT they are very accommodating...maybe they'll let you. Good luck.

I have a reservation at this restaurant tonight for my sisters birthday. I was wondering what kind of attire to wear? Would white jeans or black jeans with a nice top and heels be acceptable? Or would you recommend wearing a skirt or dress?

You would be fine in black or white jeans and heels. It's a gorgeous space that will take you back to old Hollywood glam so you wouldn't feel out of place in a dress. Whatever you wear, don't skip a trip to the bathrooms!!!!!

We ordered a flight of whiskey sours, which contained whiskeys from Japan, Vietnam, and Wisconsin. I also was able to order an amaretto sour, which they made with freshly hand beaten egg whites, which was a nice cherry on the top. As far as the whiskey flights go, I think the best one was the Vietnam flight because it had a slightly lemongrass twang and was a little bit lighter than the other two. The heaviest one was the Wisconsin which came with a little bit of a bite at the end, but it still wasn't bad if you're trying to blackout on a $15 budget. I would definitely come back with a larger group this seems like a great place, but is a little bit loud- so if you be prepared to yell or wear earplugs. The bathroom took my a second to find, which should have been intuitive considering it was on the opposite end of where you come in. I blame the lighting as things are already pretty hard to find in the dark, but eventually I made it there-Pat myself on the back.

On the main menu, the Indian-Mediterranean fusion Bhel Hummus was a party for my taste buds, while the Hot Honey Halloumi and Chicken Kefta rounded out the table nicely. The halloumi is more of a side than a main, but that sweet-and-salty hot honey combo was chef's kiss. For our finisher, the Chocolate Torte knocked us out.
