The Asian lady have us attitude through the mic, when we got to the window she only charged us for one. We corrected her politely, then when she brought the drinks she have is two small coffees with milk. We told her that the order was wrong, then she gave us a large with milk and a small with out, I'm sure you guys could understand the frustration here. Ordered: --- Chicken Pho. $2.98 --- Banh mi dac biet. $3 each. (B2G1) This sandwich is on a french roll. The bread was chewy and not very crispy. I wasn't a fan of the bread. The meat was decent. There was a small amount of pate and wasn't spread well. I like it from other sandwich shops in the SGV better. --- Sesame ball. $0.50 each Pretty tasty and is only $0.50! Worth a try. --- Thai tea w/boba. $2.75 each. (BOGO) This is a good deal because each drink comes out to be $1.38... the Thai tea tastes good! The boba is a little hard on the inside but softer on the outside. This place is fairly new. Apparently it is also a chain because there is a few other locations around. We decided to check it out yesterday for a late and lazy dinner. The drive thru was empty. Yes, drive thru haha. Seems like the drive thru mainly has sandwiches and combo meals. I decided to order the beef cube dish and the husband ordered a vermicelli. Took a few minutes to get our food but we were in no rush. The iced coffee drink was decent but not strong enough like Lee's. The food was all very average, decent, ok tasting. The beef cube dish was more than enough food for me with some left overs. The vermicelli was surprisingly good too. Do ask for sauces though otherwise you will have a sauceless meal. read more

Ordered the combo #2 that costs $4.25 for any sandwich and any milk tea drink. I asked for the special which comes with pate and multiple meats, but the cashier gave me a pork, which I didn't realize until I got home and opened up my sandwich. I know you don't have to be that good at English, but most of the people eating here aren't viet, and you could learn the food items easily. Anyways, while I was there, another customer complained about his Che bau mau, saying he didn't like it but they wouldn't switch it for him because they said he drank half of it already. I have driven past this little place a few times and I decided to stop by for lunch one day. I pulled into the drive thru and I looked at the menu, everything looked good and reasonably priced. I ordered a lunch special which was a baguette of your choice and a drink for under $5. Good deal right? Well I ordered the bbq pork baguette with everything, and a milk tea boba. I would have to say, I loved it so much that I was back again a couple days later. I just stopped by again earlier today and I decided to try the bbq pork with vermicelli. At first I was hesitant and I asked if I can have it with rice instead of vermicelli, they said that it didn't come that way, so I said what the heck I'm down to try it. Come on you people who rate this place a 4-5 stars. I've rated the chicken noodle soup a 3 star and I have ordered a few other plates some are a 2-3 rating and no further. Please don't over rate it's very misleading. People will go with high expectations and will mostly be disappointed. Many of the plates are oily and don't appeal to the eye. On a second visit (few weeks. ago) I ordered the beef pho, nothing stuck out to tell me that it was 5 stars. The broth was bland, the noodles were kind of soft and then portion of meat of meat was much less than when I ordered the beef stew. I rate the beef pho, 3 stars. I recommend the beef stew, I came by to try it again on 07/28, it was almost as good as the first time; the noodles were a bit soft but firm. The broth was flavorful liked before and the beef portion was generous. The only thing I did not like about my order was the fact was the majority of basil garnish leaves were quite oxidized, black (-1 star). Would I go back? Yes. It was served with rice, small "salad" and a piece of lime in a dish of salt and pepper. I felt like I was eating it wrong. But the steak was well seasoned and the rice was good. Overal we really enjoyed this. Egg Rolls: They were fresh from the fryer. This was my least favorite item. It seemed meat filled. Not what I'm used to I suppose. I think they might have tasted better with a dipping sauce. Milk Tea: I've had Milke Tea with Boba before. I've never tried it with Jelly. So I got the Jelly and Hubby got Boba. We have been going to this location for about 10 years but after several recent bad experiences, we won't ever be returning. The inside dining room is always dirty with food drippings on the wall, sticky tables, and spider webs. The outside landscape is also unkempt, messy, and off-putting. Our recent bad experiences relate to the last 5-6 times we've walked in to order take-out (an alternative to eating in the dirty dining room). We ordered the Shrimp BBQ Pork Egg Roll with Vermicelli and when we got home, BMC failed to pack the broth. Another time, we tried to order the chicken baguette and asked if they would pack the mayonnaise-like spread separately (which they have done in the past). The worker blurted out, "No, we don't do that." We said that they've done it in the past but the rude worker aggressively refused to accommodate our request. Other unpleasant incidents relate to the staff's demeanor, rudeness, and inept ability to fill orders accurately. The manner in which they treated us during several other face-to-face incidents was irritating and appalling and is the main reason for the one star rating and negative comments. If you're not a fan of veggies or the spicy jalapeño like me, you can ask for them on the side. Their bread is really fresh and isn't hard or crusty. My typical pho down the street from my father's place. What I would like to announce in this review is that these people are so honest!!! I left my credit card by accident. I dont usually missed out but for some reason it is such my lucky day! The nxt person after me is also honest!
