Can't get enough of this place . I always order on DoorDash and ask for a side of chili oil. Affordable and delicious

The egg baguette is my favorite, while the Pho is my family's favorite. The food is always fresh and tasty. Prices are very reasonable, and service is always efficient. Employees are always super nice.

My family really likes the ham and meat loaf baguette (banh mi sandwich) here, so we frequently come here for takeout. The pate chaud and egg rolls are also pretty good. The pate chaud is served very hot, fresh, and crispy with good amount of filling. Service is good, the employees always give an extra butter on all of baguettes when we ask for it. There's rarely a line, so i never wait for more than a few minutes. I haven't tried any of the other items on the menu, so I can't comment on them. The establishment itself does not look very nice. It's not dirty, per se, but it also doesn't look shiny, so I imagine eating in would not be super pleasant. I always order takeout so this doesn't really affect me.

$12 pho bowl? I wish we had this in the valley! Great price and soup was great! They also have my other favorites but I will have to wait til next time.

As other yelpers mentioned, Ballin' on Budget! BMC Pho is the Business. The Pho is affordable. The Bahn Mis are Buy 2 Get 1 Free on select meats. The Spring Rolls taste fresh. My twin got me addicted to this. Judging by the yelp stars I would have not gone, but it's definitely a crowd favorite for the affordability and options.

One of my go-to spots for a quick, tasty meal! I love that BMC Pho is just down the street from my hospital super convenient when we need something fast and satisfying. It's a no-frills place, but the food is consistently good. I've worked my way through most of the menu and everything has been fresh and flavorful. Their Vietnamese coffee is excellent (perfect pick-me-up on a long shift), and the buy two, get one free deal on bánh mì sandwiches is a great value. All in all, a solid neighborhood spot that never disappoints!

Is this a baby roach in my vermicelli?

I am appalled to have frequented this place prior to their last health inspection visit and shortly after I find a baby roach in my vermicelli! I'm sitting here about to vomit! Health inspector needs to make a return ASAP!!!

This is a long time post I keep putting on the back burner. Shame on me. My fav place to get banh mi and pho. They have the freshest banh mi and best quality sandwiches for any BMC in the 626 area. Very underrated here. The locals know it's a great spot and prices are so reasonable. The guy that's always at the drive through is very serious but he always gives me the sauces I request and he still nice.

**Closed due to Vermin Infestation!!!** Temporarily closed. They should shut this place down. Don't eat here or any BMC PHO places if they don't even take care of the food they're serving customers. Sucks but they should have public health as a big concern. Who knows how long they've had this infestation and people getting sick and not knowing because most times it takes Public Health workers months and months to actually go to the store to survey them. Honestly I've really never researched or known GRADE C could have it this bad.

I'd totally come back and try other things. Not pictured are a Vietnamese coffee my bestie got, a strawberry lemonade my son got, and I got the special lychee drink (YUM)!

Very good food, but the prices here are astronomical…read more I ordered by phone because I was driving and didn't have the ability to do it online. I was shocked when I went in to pick up that my order (a grilled pork banh mi, an order of egg rolls, and an iced coffee) was freaking $32!! I didn't get an itemized receipt, so once I got back to my car, I went to their website to look up prices. 4 egg rolls are $12.50. That's $3 per egg roll! The sandwich is $11 and the coffee is $6. The kicker is that there's a combo--sandwich and coffee--for $15. They could've saved me some money, but they chose to not to in order to make a few extra bucks. Their prerogative, but in this economy, not cool to not help out. The result: a customer who's not coming back and who's posting about it to warn others. I normally don't do this because I'm aware that mom and pops are struggling. It's also possible that the menu prices on their website are out of date and they did give me the combo price, but THIRTY-TWO DOLLARS (!!) for a sandwich (great bread and tasty but sweet pork, a little underwhelming on the fillings overall), some egg rolls (with enough lettuce for each one, as well as sauce and do chua, but also a little underfilled), and a 16 oz cup of coffee with ice and condensed milk is pretty crazy. I can get the same meal nearby for at least $5 less or find other types of food that'll feed more people for the same price.

Their pho is delicious, clear broth, aromatic, just the perfect amount of salty and sweet balance that the flavors just become one if you know what I mean, generous portions and spot on. Seems family owned, same faces working there and they're all very attentive and kind. The restaurant is fairly clean nonetheless. It does get a little stuffy inside sometimes during the heat waves but when you step into any pho restaurant and it's 95 degrees you should already know what you're getting yourself into.

The staff let us sit where we liked as it wasn't too busy when we stepped in. After viewjng the menu we opted for the Vietnamese Crepe (Banh Xeo) and a bowl of the Pho with Well Done Brisket to share. The staff had the food ready fairly quick. The Banh Xeo was massive with the all the traditional fixings. The Pho was huge and we were given an extra bowl to share. The Banh Xeo is one of my personal favorite dishes of Vietnamese cuisine and their version is on point. I loved how much protein is packed in the crepe and the crispiness was memorable. Their pho has good flavor and the portions are generous. You can also customize the type of broth base you prefer. Overall, this spot is a nice little gem to the city of La Puente. One that my wife and I would return to and recommend to others. ( ^_^)b

Okay so I'll be the first to admit -- this place has been sitting right under my nose for who knows…read morehow long and somehow I never made it in. Honestly? Embarrassing. Moving on. So yeah, it's another Vietnamese spot in Rosemead. And before you say anything -- yes, it's a pho review. Again. Look, I don't make the rules, I just eat the soup. This place does something a little different though. Their thing is the earth stone bowl -- basically a heated stone bowl that keeps your broth stupid hot while all your toppings come on the side in separate little dishes. Cool concept, very extra, I respect the commitment. But here's the thing -- it was hot outside. Like uncomfortably, aggressively, why-am-I-outside hot. So sweating over a volcanic bowl of soup wasn't exactly on my agenda. I went with the regular bowl, picked two types of beef and tendon, and called it a day. First sip of the broth and I genuinely had to put the spoon down for a second. Not in a dramatic way -- just in a "okay, this is actually really good" kind of way. It holds up against every other spot I've been to, no question. But what got me was the flavor -- there's something subtle going on in there that's hard to put your finger on but impossible to ignore. The kind of broth that just works and doesn't need to explain itself. The toppings were solid, but the tendon was lowkey the highlight. Soft, chewy, not rubbery -- exactly what you want. Some places fumble the tendon. These guys didn't. Iced tea on the side, Saturday afternoon, nothing else going on -- honestly doesn't get much better than that. Should've come here sooner. My loss.

A coworker who loves this place recommended it - otherwise, I would have never known about it…read morebecause when I think Vietnamese food, Little Saigon (Westminster) automatically comes to mind. Not that this place is any closer but now I know of it in case I'm around and craving it. Starting with parking - I guess there's a lot behind but I parked on the residential side street. It was free and I didn't see any restrictions (signs). There's street parking on the main drag but I'm not a fan of trying to park or pull out when cars are doing freeway speeds on surface streets. Walked in and immediately seated. Glad I got there when I did because shortly after I was seated, the crowd hit and diners were standing waiting for a seat. I got there before the lunch crowd. It's my first time and it was on a Sunday so I can't tell you what their peak times are. Call and ask or chat with a regular. Service was find. When needed, I waved someone down. Typical service I expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. As for the food, I ordered too much. I ended up taking a bunch home, mostly the rolls. I don't like soup to go. Noodles would have gotten too soggy ... But I enjoyed it to the point I know I'll go back. The broth hit me on the first sip. It felt like a punch of flavor that woke up my taste buds in a really good way. I took several sips before putting my Pho together to start eating. At other places, I'm used to getting a portion of how many rolls were served here. I ended up eating half of each, taking the rest home. I like that they were balanced with ingredients - I wasn't looking whether something was missing or not. I could tell with each bite. I really enjoyed this place and I only wish it was closer.
