We bought a used 2015 Audi Q7 with 84,000 miles in February 2025. Every time my husband went to test drive it they were "warming it up," which they said was out of courtesy for us in the winter. Justin, the salesman, provided a report from their service dept. (courtesy inspection) and all it stated was that the car needed an oil change, 2 tires, and brake pads soon. My husband asked if he could take the Audi to our mechanic to be sure there wasn't anything else wrong with it (he got this idea from our friend that owns a car dealership) and Justin said no, he said the dealership doesn't allow it and the service report should be plenty for us and they don't trust other mechanics only who they hire. My husband comes from a "car" family and his father taught him to buy from reputable dealerships so he trusted Justin and bought the car. We owned multiple Audis throughout our lives. The next cold morning when we started it up, after purchase, we heard rattling which went away after a few seconds. My husband started researching it on his own, he called his mechanic that told him to come in for an oil change and he'll check it out. This is when they discovered it was a timing chain tensioner- bad news! it can cause catastrophic engine failure. We had to pay 6,000$ to get it fixed. As my husband began to reflect on his buying experience- he started to realize some shady happenings- warming it up beforehand bc the rattle stops after 10 seconds (any mechanic would know the cause of this), and not allowing it to be checked out from an outside mechanic. We have three children, one graduating so we weren't able to find time to go into the dealership until June- mind you, the problem was discovered in February and by the time we got it to mechanics and fixed time had passed. when we made it in to speak to Alfonso, the used car salesman- he said we should've brought it in the next day, we had the opportunity to get a warranty (6,000$), and we should've known better with buying a used car. that's exactly what we were thinking before we really started reflecting on the purchase and realized that this was most likely a pre-existing problem they knew about but didn't disclose. Alfonso spoke to the owner of the company and the service manager and they said-not their fault- we should've brought it to them. wait... if we would have brought it to them wouldn't they still have said- as is, you knew it was a used car with a lot of miles- which is exactly what he said to us. if you are in between car dealerships, don't go to this one! read more

I wanted to get a new vehicle as we were a single car household, so decided on x1, they offered a demo, when I wanted to get a demo with the same mileage but different color - same msrp. They totally raised the price by 100 per month!!!!! Workers there are great, it's probably the leadership that ma greasy and shifty. Too bad they ruined BMW brand for me. Out of all dealerships, Dave Walter stands out. Here's why: they do their best for you even AFTER you have bought the car. I've had way better experience with this service department compared to others in general. Whenever my vehicle needed scheduled maintenance, the service person would always try to figure out first if I had other issues that needed to be addressed. I love their valet service. The loaners they provide are very clean and brand new. In the dealership, they have space with comfy sofas to lounge around and wait. You may enjoy the free cable on a large TV, WIFI, cookies and occasionally, a hotdog-bar with your choice of mustard and toppings. For promotional events they might have an hors d'oeuvres buffet. They have a nice little gift shop for your accessory needs. I am also impressed with how much the sales reps know about their product. I've stayed with them for the past half-decade or so. Went in to get my oil changed and came home with a missing back reflector and a brand new sensor warning on my dash that was not there before. Left messages to get a call back and nobody called back. Called again today and so far still no call back a second time. This place has gone from being a professional organization to complete trash working there. People eating lunches at their desk, bringing their kids to work, gossiping in front of customers, blaring personal music from their desks, flossing their teeth at their desk. What a great group of people! Very easy and stress free car buying experience! The sales rep, Justin, is a step above anything you would expect! There is no pushiness, or pressure, he simply showed me what I wanted to see and helped me find the best deal. They gave me the most for my trade in, more than I was expecting, and worked with me to find the perfect car. Leased a 2016 528i from them and it's been an amazing experience. The dealership itself is gorgeous and high end. Treat yourself to the complimentary coffee/cappuccinos and snacks. They also offer free car washes on Saturdays for BMW customers. I am an out of state customer (Georgia). I have to admit, I had my hesitations and reservations on doing an out of state purchase. A huge purchase, sight unseen is a bit nerve wracking. I've never done this. I'm a talker/writer so I hope to keep this short. Justin Bisconti was my sales advisor. I kind of felt like he ultimately became my personal assistant! LOL He is very polite, professional, patient, and answered all questions. As well, he was very accommodating and has excellent follow up skills. I had a couple calls with the sales manager, Art. When I kinda dropped the ball and was thinking maybe I'd just focus on finding something in my area, Art reached out a couple weeks later. After his call, I started to reconsider BMW of Akron again. Ultimately, deciding to move forward with the out of state purchase because despite my best efforts, I wasn't able to find anything nearby within my specific criteria/wants. I also worked with Betty in finance. She was pleasant and helpful. I did have a prepurchase inspection done - which also helped put me at ease. Overall, the mechanic said that the X6 was in great shape and took tons of pictures. Special kudos to Justin though. He made a walk around video of the car for me as requested. I feel he definitely went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and was at ease. All the people I interacted with BMW of Akron were warm and friendly. I never once felt I was being pressured or being a nuisance (despite my neediness). I thank you all! This experience has been extremely positive. I'm enjoying my 2017 X6 (white exterior/red interior/black wheels/Msport). So far, so good! read more

For whatever reason some people are giving this place a bad review is almost shocking to me. My husband and I bought an X3 for our family at Christmas of last year. It's a 10 year old BMW so it does leak oil. If you don't understand how a BMW does this, don't buy an old one. Daw is in NO way "taking advantage of the poor" like stated in other reviews. You get what you pay for. I now go in 2 times a year for oil changes and the staff is friendly and helpful. The free gourmet coffee bar is really good while you wait. They also have a tv and nice leather couches to sit in while they work on your car. $78 total for an oil change and they also give you a free car wash and uv wax seal at each oil change. I will keep buying cars here for as long as I live in Akron. read more

Betty was our finance person and she was lovely in every way possible. Truly everyone was great, to include the managers. I even overheard two children talking about how much fun they were having. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. We first met Mario on a Thursday and after hearing he was off on Friday we waited until Saturday to return because he's so great we couldn't imagine working with anyone else. It was a true pleasure to spend the day with him. My only less than enthusiastic comment is that Betty's office did not have the air conditioning on when we got back there around 2:30 pm. It was in the high 80s and humid, and that poor lady was stuck in her hot office almost the entire day. Only when I went to complain was it turned on, and that's not okay with me. Absolutely horrible sales experience. The salesperson "Justin" was nice at first but when he asked what we wanted for our trade I told him I wanted to know his offer first. It started to go downhill from there. He came back with an offer for my trade at 2 k under what other dealerships were already offering. When I tried to negotiate it further he used the old sales technique "I have to go to my manager to see if he will approve it".He then went hard line with me and tried me to have me sign a fake agreement and said that he was "going out on a limb for me". They had my keys for my trade The entire time and I felt like they were holding my keys hostage. I don't appreciate the old used car guy sales techniques and I asked for my keys back. He was a jerk from the on. The dealership really needs to learn that it isn't 1990 anymore. Get some better sales people and maybe you will get more sales. Updated. I ordered a BMW to be built to my specifications back in 2007. They have serviced it ever since and have been nothing but exceptional. Brandon and Josh as service advisors always took great care of me. They would valet my car to and from service appointments...and my office was easily an hour away from the shop. They would pick up my car, drop off a loaner vehicle, and return my car when it was finished, either the next day or a couple days later. I never was without a vehicle, or inconvenienced. On one instance, I had car trouble and Shujaat Siddiqui (my sales guy, now the GM I think) met me on the side of the road at 8 o'clock at night and left me his own car to drive. He took my car into the shop the next day and got it fixed. read more

This dealership sold me on a BMW i3 on false information and refused to own their mistake and/or offer me any solutions once I realized that the vehicle did not function as promised- repeatedly. I can't get behind a company that operates that way, I think it's dishonest. I've worked for so many companies that valued high customer service. My goodness, if I could write a negative review I would. Be VERY VERY careful, this is a bait and switch dealership. They advertised 17 used 3 series for sale. We selected a middle priced one, we agreed to a price, with the sales MANAGER and we put a deposit down. We supplied the required paperwork (license, insurance, etc..), a few hours later we get a call saying the owner refuses to sell the car unless we add $1900 to the price because they are selling it too cheaply. This is AFTER taking the deposit and coming to complete agreement! It's pretty clear, this is the new car buying model, suck consumers in and then try and slam them with last second additional costs and fees to maximize profits. This dealership has succumb to the greed, beware, the price is not the price. And since Ohio limits doc fees to $250 or 10%, they have to get the extra profits somehow!. There are growing numbers of BBB complaints, check the parent company. You've been warned!! read more

If I could award zeros I would. I am a 3 time bmw owner and serviced my cars here. I have a major problem on a 3 series which is under a service bulletin. The dealership kept the car 2 months. It then offered 20 percent off a $2700 repair and BMW america would not extend a warranty. This car is 4 years old and cost 45K new. Are you kidding me. Car was extremely dirty when we arrived, after letting the salesmen Justin know 3 days in advance we were serious buyers and coming from Pittsburgh. Took a test drive, went to sign papers. They ignored our pre-approval and gave us a much higher rate. Eventually Betty matched it and that was fine. What I'm still furious about still is the blonde kid in the khakis and blue and grey sweatshirt in detailing who should not be allowed to interact with customers. When we went to get the car after the paperwork we noticed there was black scum all over the back of the cars light grey headliner on the interior - like turned your hands black if you touched it dirty, on 80% of the back portion that we didn't see while test driving and sitting in the front seat. It was cold out and Justin didn't really show us around the interior - just gave us the keys. Yes that is our bad, but after we saw and questioned this, the kid had the nerve to say that it "looked like normal wear on plastic". I'm not an idiot - plastic does not decompose and turn black and start leaching filth in a 3 year old car. It looked like a mix of mildew and smoke. I asked a few times if the owner was the smoker to which Justin said "I can't be sure" well I can, and that just felt shady. The vent was also broken in the back on closer inspection. They took it for "detailing" again which took another half hour, and brought it back EXACTLY THE SAME. They hadn't even touched it. At that time Justin and my husband asked for the cleaning supplies because I was already in tears and they started scrubbing at the black parts they could get to, handing back completely black rags to the other kid who was supposedly the bmw "genius" who just stood there and said "wow". No apologies, everyone there just ignored the fact that they were selling us a disgusting car. Cool. I'm pretty mad that I just drove and paid extra to have the "bmw certified" experience and now to add insult to injury I need to pay to have my car detailed by actual professionals locally because dealing with those kids was an absolute horror. Worst service I've ever seen in a car dealership and I've seen a lot of bad. We had already spent 3 hours there by the time they supposedly detailed the car the 3rd time and it was still gross. One of their employees misrepresented himself as a private buyer of my Ferrari. After I drove my car to the delearship to show it to him he revealed that it was actually for the delearship to resell. Of course their offer was for wholesale and Justin, who misrepresented himself, couldn't even bring himself to present the "offer". I bought a used 320i here, and I wish that I had not. It is not that I do not love my car, it is a great vehicle, however the individuals I have dealt with there are a disaster. First of all, Lauren in the financing department not only forgot to pull my down payment out, and then refused to mail me my title for my car until I payed the down payment, which was supposed to be drafted when the car was purchased. Thus, I had to call them to remind them to draft my $5,000 down payment, and they proceeded to draft an extra $500 out and insist that I told them I wanted to put $5,500, and refused to refund me the $500 that they drafted from my account. (which I am not sure who would put $5,500 down on a car, kind of a strange number to choose to put down.) I was also told the car would come with two keys, only to be given one key and told that they could not find the second and that they would mail me one the next day. Over a month later I still have not received the second key, and have tried to call them about 8 times. 3 of which I have been in touch with people there and they told me they would have the key sent (Art, the sales manager in particular), only to not have the key show up. The other 5 times I gave them my info to have them call me back, and just like the key, I never received those phone calls. When I did speak with Art the sales manager he decided it would be a good idea to give me a terrible attitude over the phone and say "well this is the first time you have spoken to me about this so that is why we haven't sent your second key."...It was the third time we have spoken about it as a matter of fact, and even if it wasn't it is their job to send me the stuff they say they will send, not my job. Beyond this, the car I purchased was overdue for an oil change and the only key I did receive had a dead battery, so I had those two things to take care of with a car that I had owned for less than a month. Overall this whole process with BMW Akron has been a total disaster. Not that buying a car usually goes smoothly because it never does, however the people here are awful at their jobs. They are unprofessional, lazy, and have horrendous customer service. I will NEVER purchase another vehicle here. Even if their BMW is slightly cheaper than another dealership, you are far better off trying the other dealership because these crooks here will find ways to rip you off that you will question the legality of their business practices (like charging you an extra $500 then refusing to refund the money). Long story short, do not even waste your time here. Go find another BMW dealership and give them the chance to earn your business. These people here a straight up awful. read more

To whom it may concern, Hello, I am a NYC resident who found an 2008 Acura RDX for sale at a bmw dealership. I spoke to a sales rep who assured me it was checked and in excellent condition. I ran a car fax & it was perfect except it didn't have maintenance listed but Justin of Dave Walters Inc BMW in Ohio assured me it was great. I made a deal & flew to OH to drive the car back. I was so excited. I love BMW's but I'm single, working & can't afford one so I thought that if I got something from I would feel good & closer to owning one. I began to drive home. Emissions light came on. It finally gave out in PA. Up in smoke with the head gasket blown & I was stranded & freezing 200 miles from home. I called Justin over & over & text but no answer. I finally called a tow to get home at $705. I need a new engine. I've been contacting DW Inc daily to make this right with my money & reimbursement with my tow. They also forgot to give me the mats to the car. No one will call me back. They also never gave me my title and now I cant register the car. I've been cheated & looking to file a small claim in court. I am so disappointed that I never want a car from bmw now & the people I know who have one will now know my story. I took my car there to have the airbags replaced under recall. On the phone they said it would take 15 to 20 minutes so I went there at my lunch. But once I got there they said it would take an hour. So they had someone take me back to work. But they never came and pick me back up. So if you want to get stranded in the ghetto then Dave Walther BMW is the place to go. read more

Ok I do not write many reviews but I am inclined to take a few minutes to let people know about my experience. I was looking and test drove a used car that was priced around 15,000. Drive went well and told them it had a few noticeable issues and said I would buy it if they fixed them. Well after over 24 hours I get a call stating they aligned the car and a rim was bent and it would be there the next day. Making a long story short it just seems like unless you are spending big money you are pushed aside. The finance lady never called me back when she said she would that night and never got a call until close to 3pm the next day. The excuse was that the computer was spinning and it took like 12 hours to get financing on a person that has over a 800 FICO score. I drove almost 2 hours one way to drive that car and was seriously interested and going to buy it but the nonchalant and slow response time is inexcusable in my opinion. Worst customer service ever! I had my first bad interaction with them when I was looking to purchase a new car, they don't respond to emails or phone calls, when I went in they were not to pleasant so I went else where and purchased my 325. Seeing as how they are the closest BMW dealership to my house I prefer to get my service done there, my one hour oil changed turned more into two hours but that's not a big deal. Three weeks ago my rear strut blew I called them 3x to check on the price they always take down my name and vin and never call me back. I even tried reaching our to them on Facebook. My BMW might not have been purchased there ( but that's their own fault) and it might not be new but it's still their make they should care about their customers. Right now I am thinking about buying a new car and I doubt it will be from them. My boyfriend has brought all three of his cars there for service you would think they would value their customers. read more
