I have bought all kinds of toys in my life. Cars trucks, boats RVs you name it and I have had it and I have never in any of those experiences been to a motor vehicle dealer that was as great as this place. This place is really a bar above the rest. Not only was I treated extremely professionally by my sales person Pascal but they went way above and beyond to try and take good care of me. I made a silly mistake and didn't fully understand the options of the bike I bought, and I was in deep trouble because the suspension was too tall for me . I went back to the dealership and told them the situation and how the Bike was just too big for me and they immediately told me they wanted me to be on the right bike. Without any problem, they took my first bike back from me that I had already put 300 miles on and swapped me out for a bike that had the right suspension from my size. These guys literally saved my BMW, riding experience by making sure I had the right bike. I can't thank Pascal, Bill and Earl enough for making a tough situation 100% fixed. I'm the one who messed up and didn't realize what options the Bike had and even at their own expense they went out of their way to make it right and they sure did. I would never buy a bike at any other dealership then with these guys. This is truly class A service. I can't tell you how grateful I am to these guys for taking the best care of me even when they didn't have to. They truly earned a customer for life. Have purchased several BMWs from another dealer, but their service started to go downhill so decided to work with the further from us dealer : great decision ! Internet staff were very responsive and provided all of the information wanted before we came in. Even responded at 11:00pm after hours to let us know they would follow-up first thing in the morning and they did. We would not have purchased their car if we didn't get what we needed so this was great for everyone. The client advisor, Anthony Salazar, read us quickly and correctly and made it a very fast engagement. The finance department was equally fast and covered their packages, but didn't over push anything which was appreciated. Probably fastest experience ever. At least when we were there, I noticed a customer first culture. Anytime we got up to run out to our old car or whatever, employees not working directly with us rushed to the doors to open. It is more costly when having service done at a dealer- but, truly, in this case I know I got my money's worth. The service dept kept my bike for a week and walked through it entirely. New front fork seals, all new fluids, brakes checked, computer checked, everything. I was able to ride away on my new-to-me bike with assurance that everything g was right. I first took my (vintage?) GS into BMW of Denver for a "free" recall repair BUT found much more work was needed AND they treated me so well I won't go anywhere else. I bought a used bike from a private seller and knew I needed new rubber drive train boots and a well-baby checkup. When I found out I had recalls (on a 16 year old bike), I booked my appointment. I knew the parts for the boots were about $200, so when they offered to do it for $400, I took the opportunity (I'd seen the youtube videos, it's an involved repair). I figured, if that cracked boot had compromised anything else (like the drive shaft), they'd find it. Now, I don't know how long that old boot had been cracked, but the $1500 drive shaft was toast. Previous owner had also broken the bottom bolt for the rear shock and that was broken and stuck in the $1300 swingarm (use a torque wrench and new bolts!). Bearings were rusted and hosed (probably from pressure washing - BTW: Tara said to NOT use pressure washers on our bikes (free tip there)). I say, BETTER to find all this out with the bike on the lift rather than some remote location. Bottom line, my bike is back in tip-top shape and for about $2500 I won't be stuck on the side of the trail with a broken bike. Many thanks to Steve Rumnock (Service Manager), Linda Salguero (Service Writer), and Taylor (Technician Extraordinaire). Taylor did top-notch work! He found everything and made my bike solid again. I truly appreciate the intelligent combining of labor since we had the whole back-end taken apart. Linda was great up front and the whole team is amazing with communication. I was working with Daryl in service and he fully understands the stranded rider. They were able to diagnose the issue within one day and order the parts. This review is for service- my fiancé came in today prepared to purchase a bike on the spot but was completely ignored by all six/seven employees, including employees on the sales floor. He had to seek someone out and was then cut short multiple times while this person sat at their desk and repeatedly was blown off by the employee. I would suggest that these salesmen take the time to consider that while someone may be in athletic wear, they should value each potential buyer because they missed out on an easy sale today. A buyer shouldn't be left to walk around the sales floor for half an hour without being approached by someone, and then when they seek out assistance should never be dismissed. We will purchase our new bike elsewhere; it's a competitive market and there are plenty of folks interested in an easy sale. read more

I had a bad experience at BMW of Denver. I purchased a new motorcycle this Spring from Alex. I found that they were very helpful until the point of my purchase. When I ran into trouble registering and titling the motorcycle because they had not provided the necessary paperwork, I could not get them to answer my calls or even apologize for their mistake. After several months and much more of my time then should have been necessary I have now received the correct paperwork but no apology and no attempt to make it right. read more

Service manager took all my info, inspected my bike, took details, vin #.... personal info.... he apparently needed the remainder of the afternoon to confirm a Monday reservation for my R1150GS....???? I bought a used bike from this dealer a few weeks ago. When I bought the bike I noticed what I thought was a small oil leak under the bike. As I rode the bike I realized that the oil leak was not too small. I was losing half a quart of oil every 200 miles. I called the dealer to see if they would do anything for me. To my amazement they told me bring the bike in and they would take care of it at their expense. It ended up being a main seal leak. Normally that's a $1400 repair. They did everything for free. I am thoroughly impressed with this dealer and will have all my BMW's serviced here from now on. Next time I buy another bike you know I'll go here first. Made a service appointment for my 2008 K1200GT which had brake pad indicator light showing with only 1100 miles. At first the service advisor said there wasn't availability on the day I preferred, but then said she could make it work and to be there at 9:00 am. I arrived at 9:00am and she came outside to greet me by name - very nice touch. Wrote up the ticket and directed me to the customer lounge, which has TV, magazines, vending area, coffee/tea, etc. Initial estimate was 2 hours, however she came and got me at 1.5 hours. Brought paperwork and key and said work would be covered under warranty, as they had to re-route the front sensor wires which had broken (design flaw?). Just closed a deal on a new bike with Erik, who is an extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic rider. He carries himself like a rider first and a salesperson second and took the time to walk me through a very major purchase. The bike's on order and up to this point my experience with these folks has been excellent. Will post another review after receiving the bike and putting the dealership through the paces... Update 11/29/2011: I've had two services done so far at the dealership (the 600 mile break-in and a warranty job on a pannier). What I will say is that the work is solid, but you should definitely budget approximately double what they tell you on how long the work will take. The 600 miler took about 4 hours and they forgot to fix one issue I mentioned when I brought it in, the second repair took an hour and a half on what was explained as a "half hour tops" repair. A side issue is that their titling "department" sent the title paperwork to my home instead of my credit union and did so about 5 weeks after purchase...now I'm on my first extension from the dmv on my temp tags... At this point I'm glad I won't (hopefully) have to spend another minute in their customer lounge until the bike hits 6k on the odometer...good coffee though... read more

We came to BMW thinking it would be great but to our amazement was NOT! Petko our sales advisor told us we had 90 days until our first payment and found out two months later he changed the paperwork and we only had 30 days. The way we found out was because debt collectors were calling us! Then come to find out we never got a bill mailed to us because the financial department got our address wrong! They already notified the credit companies and our credit is screwed because no one at BMW knows how to do their job correctly! When we talked to Bill the GM of this dealership he said there was nothing he could do and won't return our emails or phone calls. Thanks for nothing! Update: I've now had to remove the plastics, battery and oil reservoir to clean spilt oil left by the service on my bike. There was garbage left under the seat and my plastics are bleached where oil was spilt. This shop is terrible. I should note that the two stars are because the folks at the service desk were so friendly. I was really disappointed when I picked up my bike after having warranty work and an oil change done though. It probably shouldn't have taken four working days to do the work, but I was out of town so I kind of laughed it off. After noting that the kickstand was bent on my bike the service tech was pretty condescending, and fairly unhelpful when I asked if I could get a discount on replacement parts if I ordered accessories at the same time and had them installed. Also told me I had to order bushings and bolts because they were "worn out". When I asked them to point out where the damage was, I kept hearing that it's impossible to tell and the frame was likely bent too, but they couldn't tell until the stand was replaced for the low price of $255. I spent $45 on a new kickstand, reused the bolts. There is no damage to the frame, and that's pretty easy to see with the naked eye. I'll go to a different shop next service interval, maybe they'll wash the bike after servicing it. read more

Worst experience ever with a large ticket purchase. The interest rate that we agreed upon was inflated to 7.99 from a 6.75 in the final paperwork. The 2013 K1600GTL which I paid 27,000 dollars for was delivered dirty, cruise does not work, rear different sprays oil everywhere, clunky shifting, 1.75 inches of driveline lash, and the engine does not start when below 35 degrees. The bike is a lemon, the customer service is atrocious, the financing was a scam, no arrangement to fix any of these issues. The GM seems to not care at all what is going out of his/her store, or what goes on in the store. Never doing business there, or with BMW Mottorad again. Bikes going in for a Honda. I purchased a 2007 K1200R Sport from BMW of Denver a couple of months ago. Noel was the sales advisor and Kelsey did the title work.. A fast porter also helped out by grabbing me a well fitting cover. The customer service and follow through even after the bike was sold was extraordinary in this day and age where poor assistance is becoming the norm. The purchasing process was quick and painless with no B.S. along the way. Noel referred me to Full Throttle Academy for my endorsement. Great experience. Although I've been riding for many years, I still learned quite a bit. They also hold back inexperienced riders who aren't yet ready to ride the roads, keeping everyone safer. Well worth the time and money. I haven't dealt with their service department so I am hoping they are as good as the front end. I have put about 1k on the bike and found some loosening hardware, so I plan to stop by and ask them to do a once over. I purchased a new R1200GS Adventure last week (my 4th GSA) and I love the bike, but this review is more about the sales, service and management of BMW of Denver. BMW makes a great product that really could sell itself, but that's not why I continue to return to BMW of Denver, it's the people! No pressure sales is an understatement. They know they sell a great product, but they also know you have a choice of dealers in the Denver area, so rather than wow you with bike facts, they treat you like someone special. They know the equipment, don't get me wrong, but their focus is on you, the buyer, the person, the friend. I return time and time again because they make me feel special every single time! I always leave with a smile on my face! They don't care if you come in every day with a thousand questions because they just want you to be comfortable with your purchase. Linda in service is wonderful, always greeting you with a smile. Bill, the GM, will bend over backward to give you the very best deal.
