Good place, I will come back here. I just find them on the pricey side, but, honestly, their service is worth it!

They…read moremechanic said that a house needed to be replaced, but they were not able to do it because they do not have the equipment needed to evacuate the existing refrigerant 1234yf. They referred us to the Kia dealer, which I knew would be very expensive. So I did some research online and found Franklynn Automotive. I called and described the situation to Steve. He said they likely can handle it, but would start with a complimentary second opinion. After their inspection, they determined that the hose does not need to be replaced and we only needed to refresh the refrigerant, which they do have the equipment for. In addition, the reason the other shop might have suggested the hose replacement was because of a leak related to the axel. All in, the repairs would be substantially less than the dealer quote for work that may not have been needed in the first place. Overall, great experience with Franklynn.

Went here to get suspension work done on my Tesla. Overall the vibe was friendly and the mechanic…read morethey had look at my car seemed to be top notch. He was the reason I wanted to get the suspension serviced here as his explanation of what I needed done showed his mastery of his craft. However after taking the car to Tesla to get a 2nd opinion I discovered that this shop (not the tech) was trying to charge me literally a 200% markup on the parts to do the repair. Crazy right!!! The genuine Tesla parts for the repair were $209 and these guys quoted those same parts out to $614 (I sent him the estimate from Tesla with the exact cost of the parts). Unfortunately for me Tesla wouldn't work on the car because of an aftermarket body kit the previous owner had installed. I really liked the mechanic at this shop, so I went back to this shop with the intention to move forward even though their cost was literally 56% more ($1,635 vs $2,555) then Tesla for the same work (because of the price gouging on the parts). Then when I asked about it before my approval to move forward the manager got snarky and said how would you expect us to stay in business if we don't markup the parts. I said and I quote "I get a markup on the parts and your high hourly rate for the labor on the work but not a 200% markup on the parts." The guy gave an excuse about the software they use but was unwilling to budge on the price gouging. I literally said why don't you let me buy the parts directly from Tesla and you can still mark them up 25% and he still said no. I was completely professional throughout the conversation, but obviously would not pay a 200% markup on parts on top of the already top of market labor they charge. After the conversation he texted me back and we agreed to not move forward. I only leave this review to warn others. It's a bad business practice to over charge people like that and so I just wanted to give people my story warning them to watch out and be careful before doing any work here. Update: this slime ball's disclosure of all the information I gave his manager, Steve, in good faith is abhorrent. Everything he mentioned on the car was told to them right up front as I told it to the manager, Steve, in person and this clown is repeating word for word what I told his manager. I was cool with this at first but this guy is a complete scum bag now using my own words and lying about it. Anyways besides being a scum bag, no effort at all was made regarding the parts and this shops 200% markup. I literally told the guy running the shop I would buy the parts myself and let them mark it up 25% and still the answer was a quick no. Everything I said was honest and accurate and don't appreciate this guy claiming transparency when his long shpeel was essentially just a my own words complaining about the car I bought and his shops poor excuse for price gauging. They could have done the job without gauging me on the price given I had the option to buy the parts myself. Not cool at all the response from this guy and his piss poor excuse for attempting to rip me off.

Overpriced, dishonest, late and shoddy work…read more We had the misfortune of having a car break down on a Saturday, transmission, and they were the only place open that was within distance. It took them a week longer to get the work done than we were originally told. Once they finally installed the transmission, we were told that it came with a faulty sensor, and that they would have to get the part from Honda. They then charged us for the faulty sensor that came with the transmission -- almost $300. The initial quote for a new transmission was $10,000 parts and labor. They said that they could get a certified, refurbished one and drop the price to closer to $8,000. We chose to go with the certified refurbished transmission (while we were waiting for the work to be done, 4 hours after we showed up -- and it was still the next day before they finished it -- the manager was talking to us and saying that a brand new transmission for the car would have been $16,000 -- even though 2 weeks before he had quoted us $10,000). The final bill, with the other things they added on, was $9,700 (which turns out to be significantly more than what we were told and more than other shops would charge). They also told us a list of things that needed to be dealt with that were problems with the car. I was curious simply because I heard three other customers being told that they had similar issues that needed to be dealt with. Driving the car the next day, there was a weird squeaking sound. We took it to another shop to see if they could diagnose the problem -- a number of the bolts holding the transmission were loose! They tightened them up and the sound disappeared. Not only was the work very late and overpriced, it was shoddy. We also asked this shop to check the other issues that Saul's Autotek had said were issues that needed to be addressed, and we were told that those "issues" were fine.

I came into Service Street - Highlands Ranch for an oil change and tire rotation. I also mentioned…read morethat the display on my dashboard was showing low air in my right-front tire. The sensor was reading 28 psi. While travelling to Yellowstone National Park, this light came on, and I pulled over and checked for a nail (I didn't find any). I stopped at the nearest gas station to check the air in that tire and it was fine. I put a little more air in that tire just to be sure. The gauge read 40 psi+, the dash displayed 28 psi (and did not change). What I realized later was that I put air in a tire that did not need it and overinflated to approximately 40 psi. When I arrived back in town from our vacation, I instructed the technicians to check all the tires and have them all inflated to 35 psi (Per the manufacturer's recommendation). When I picked up my truck, the low tire pressure light was off, but now ALL the tires were reading 46-47 psi! I asked the tech about this and he said, "Yeah, when you brought it in, all of the tires were really low - the highest one had 17 psi. So, I inflated all the tires to 35 psi, as instructed." When asked why the display on my dash said 46 - 47 psi, he shrugged and said something to the effect that sometimes the sensors are off a little. I questioned why they would be "off" by 10+ psi. So, the next day, I took the truck to the Discount Tire next door and had them double-check the air pressure. Just as I suspected, ALL of the tires were OVER-INFLATED to 46 psi! As the tires were being deflated by the technician at Discount Tire, the sensor for the first tire did not match the tire being deflated. According to Google, " TPMS sensors need to be reset (relearned) on GMC trucks after a tire rotation to ensure the vehicle correctly identifies the new location of each tire. This prevents the driver information center from displaying wrong tire pressures for specific positions. The process is often called a "TPMS Relearn." This process was not done at Service Street. If a technician can't do something as simple as inflate a tire to the proper tire pressure, how can they be trusted to do something more technical? This company has lost my business. P.S. I want my money back for the other pre-paid oil changes. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Guys.....what's going on??? Why the excessive staff…read moreturnover? Hugely disappointed in getting communication from shop on when car would be ready. "It's not my job" attitude because one of your associates wasn't my service advisor, so if I don't call to inquire on car status then my car would still be sitting at shop while I'm home without a car. For the 2nd time car is returned with soiled / dirty driver seat and inside door panel / armrest. I feel training in customer service is lacking along with taking pride in the work you perform. The issues were fixed (I'm hoping), but vehicle now has a blinking light that wasn't there before.
