This is a dangerous area. Today I tried to check them out and there was a man in bare feet screaming at the top of his lungs just outside the door. I looked inside and you can't see any licenses. There's a strange smell coming from the doorway. I don't know what it is but it made me sick to my stomach. I know it wasn't gel manicure because the woman told me they only do regular manicures. I have no idea what's going on there but I would be very very careful and bring my own products if I absolutely had nowhere else to go. Seriously. I've been going to Bo for haircuts my entire life. Literally. My brothers and I used to ask to sweep up hair on the floor of her first salon, before she opened her own many years ago. I drank my first mimosa at her salon's opening. That's not to say I haven't tried other salons before. There are Brazilian Blowout treatments in other salons walking distance to my house. They weren't bad at all, but the one Nichole does lasts the longest and looks the best. I honestly think it's the best keratin treatment in the city, and you know I'm being honest because I trade an afternoon dealing with the 10 freeway and Beverly Hills parking just to get it. I also switch off with the conditioning treatment, which is also one of the best for dry or damaged hair. Afterwards, I usually end up only needing a trim when I come in thinking I need a cut. Side effects include long, silk hair. I guess don't come here if you don't want long, silky hair. read more

This is certainly a No Frills salon! The interior isn't very modern for a Salon in Bev Hills. Looks like they do hair on one side of the salon and sell clothes and do nails on the other side. I have been a faithful client of Carlton's forever, but I've been trying out different salons lately via Groupon. This hasn't served me well since the last person left me with some major growth so I came to this salon for full highlights. Unfortunately my hair looks like it needs a lot of work to get normal highlights. My hair is also super thick. This salon has been the only one that has tried to factor that into the price and wanted to charge me 50% more than the Groupon price. That would be an additional $50. Factoring that in, I figured that I might as well just go back to Carlton's where I'm comfortable with the stylists' results every time. I simply figured that the stylist here could do the same thing that my other stylists have done in the past. In the past, they have Either given me more highlights to cover the greys or they do a process of low lighting and highlighting so everything Blends in well. This Salon is located in Beverly Hills on Wilshire just east of Robertson Boulevard. Parking is super scarce since they have permit parking along the streets and only one hour parking on the meters out front. The staff is incredibly friendly and I did like my stylist's blonde highlights. I don't think my stylist was too happy when I decided not to pay for the upgrades and have my hair done at another salon. She immediately retreated to the back of the salon and jumped on her telephone. I understand though. Now she probably has wait an hour for her next client. read more

My favorite salon in the heart of Beverly Hills! I can say that I have experienced majority of the lovely ladies at this salon and they are all so wonderful at what they do. Bo is an expert with hair. Anytime I come to get a blow dry or some type of treatment, I always leave with my hair feeling (and looking) better than every before. She's one of the few people I trust to style my bangs as I am really picky with that! Natasha, the other main hairstylist is just as wonderful. She really listens to what you want and replicates it. Anna's facial skills are the best. Not only is the environment so relaxing, but my face always feels so clean and smooth afterwards. I feel like I don't even need any make up to cover up for weeks after receiving a facial with her. She's also one of the best for eyebrows! She gets it perfect every time. Alla is my favorite manicurist. First of all, she uses only the best polishes like OPI, Essie, CND Shellac and Vinylux (for a week wear!). None of that cheap stuff that you find more and more often at other salons. I can always count on Alla to clean my cuticles, apply my polish, and have it last long! After all, you get what you pay for with European mani/pedis. When I get gel done with her, it usually lasts me three weeks. With vinylux, I get an easy two weeks out of it. I also used to have a very sensitive and slightly puffy toe. After a few visits, she took care of it all. She might take a little longer than most manicurists, but if I get longer wear out of it, it doesn't sound like a problem to me! Above being so skilled at what all these ladies do, the salon is very clean and friendly. I've been a valued customer for over 5 years, and I am not going anywhere! This is the BEST salon I have EVER been to! The ladies who work there are all Russian or from around there and they are SO nice! They are a delight to chat to and are so friendly. What is even better is they know EXACTLY what they are doing with your hair. You can either come with a specific idea in mind or just ask for their suggestions, but either way they won't let you walk out of there with bad hair. Even if you are there for a couple hours and spend a heinous amount of money it's so worth it. I have never loved my hair color and style so much as when I go here. I suggest you go here (assuming money is not an object) I have long hair and for cut and color it was $265, and that's with the Pac Promos thing that gives you half off. I have tried many many hair salons and sadly payed over $300.00 for a haircut with NO blowdry and have still been dissapointed. I really like this salon and the best stylist to ask for is Kseniya Arsirova, she gave me wonderful long layers and one of the best blow dry's I have ever gotten. The only issue I have with this salon is the shampoo and conditier they use to wash your hair before the cut makes my hair really oily. I would reccomend washing your hair prior to the appt. Kseniya is extermly sweet and likeable, she does a great job with cuts and blow drying. This place is worth every penny and more. Trust me I have tried many places and left very very unhappy. Worst mani pedi ever. Arrived 20min early, didnt get started until 10min late. Nails were unevenly filed and polished. The sides of my nails werent polished and some nails were given more coats than others. The polish chipped off most of my nails by the next day. AND my cuticles? Skin started peeling a day later. This horrible process took 2.5 hours!!!!! The staff were really nice, though. But with only one manicurist that can't see, is a lose/lose situation. No one wins. I have been going to Bo for 30 years. She went from a non-English speaking beginner hairstylist to a business owner in Beverly Hills. I couldn't imagine having anyone else cut my hair. She is like family. The salon is comfortable, I am always greeted by her friendly staff, and I know I can come in, relax, and have a great experience. I am very impressed. Everything about this salon exceeded my expectations. Bo and her team made me comfortable the entire time. The salon was super busy but everyone got attention. The staff was pleasant, considerate and friendly. I have a very long and fine hair and I am very picky. For more than 5 years I have been doing my hair at the pretentious salon in Beverly Hills. However, despite the high price they constantly burnt my scalp, prices kept rising, no one ever complimented my hair and I had to do touch ups every month, which is very challenging with my job schedule.
