First time I've ordered here since my coworkers rave about this place and unfortunately not a positive experience. I ordered what I thought was the Ultimate (w/picture) and received something totally different. I called the store and asked about what all comes on it and was sadly informed that the website has the incorrect image/description. I asked if anything could be done and whoever answered just said sorry and suggested I try them on a different day. As you can see what I actually received doesn't even look remotely close and I'm not sure how this is my fault. I feel like something could have been done to rectify this considering the website is misleading. I could have even been happy just receiving some avocado. Bummer. I tried to give them another chance very disappointed .. Definitely not the same quality as the first owner. Everything about going to an organic bagel shop is lost at this place. The bagels are just ok Also cream cheese is just store-bought Philadelphia after asking the server. the total for my two bagels and cream cheese was eight dollars. I suggest you just go buy your own bagels and cream cheese. The best thing to get here might be to try their coffee because they have a better coffee machine than they do. march this is the first time I came to this place. My girlfriend has been coming since she was a little one and she just had to show me the thing is I'm so glad she did because now I get my delicious tomatoes with herb cream cheese, but the thing is they don't have anymore. It's time to branch out and try new flavors, but I will say the vanilla latte iced is perfection. The bagels are a nice size for a small treat. Wow...if you've never tried this place, you should. Came in for some bagels to take home. This place did not disappoint. So good. The everything bagel is excellent. And so is the chocolate bagel. Don't forget to purchase their spreads too. The garlic spread and the strawberry spread...delicious. Their menu is extensive. Need to go back and try the lox and bagel and the breakfast bagel. read more

Usually my favorite bagel spot but it's really frustrating that they aren't consistent. You pay for everything you add extra of, and NEVER get it. I always ask for extra sprouts & cream cheese and it's never done. On top of that, anytime i order egg they put a ridiculous amount of it. I've been a customer for some time now and unfortunately I had a bad experience with the owner. I placed my order and he repeated my order correctly however, I received the wrong item. I spoke to worker and she reassured me it could be fixed, the owner steps in very rudely states they couldn't fix my order. I asked for a refund and he also denied. Very unprofessional and distasteful. I had even left a tip that day! Truly upset because I enjoyed visiting this place every week. Definitely lost a customer! I am giving it two stars because the bagels are yummy and they have a great variety. BUT, the people who work here DO. NOT. LISTEN. I took my little kids here yesterday, I ordered them a bagel with only avocado and bacon. I specifically told the cashier, "My kids don't like cheese. Can I please have it with only avocado and bacon?" For me, I ordered the breakfast veggie bagel, no onions. I asked for no onions two times. I like to confirm because I can't have onions and I have little faith in young employees these days. Sure enough, my bagel came out with a hefty amount of red onions. And, my kids bagel? It had cream cheese. This is exactly why I always repeat myself. But, what's the point when the employees just don't care to listen?! My husband told the person behind the counter that his wife asked for no onions. The employee asked, "Do you want me to just remove the onions for you or do you want a new one?" What the heck. Isn't standard practice to give the customer a brand new item because they messed up the first one?! I just don't understand how these places stay open with such mediocre customer service. As soon as you enter, you will see a display of bagels (baked freshly), next to the cream cheese selections and the cashier station. My order consisted of Jalapeno Cheese, Cheese, Spinach Parmesan, and Chocolate bagels. I also purchased 2 oz containers of chive cream cheese and strawberry cream cheese. Among these choices, my standout favorite undoubtedly was the Jalapeno Cheese bagel. Its subtle spiciness and rich cheese aroma made for a perfect combination. The chive cream cheese really does give a boost to the bagel flavor. Meanwhile, the Chocolate bagel was a hit with my children, who savored it alongside the delightful strawberry cream cheese. The Cheese and Spinach Parmesan bagels are pretty much standard. Arriving around 8 AM, I found no trouble securing parking right in front of the store. The morning staff were very friendly, and answered all questions I had. Through conversation, I learned that in addition to their 16oz and 8oz standard cream cheese containers, they also offered the small 2oz, which worked better for me. read more

Love my breakfast sandwich from here. I've been coming to Boardwalk for 3 years now and I've always had really good bagels here. I usually go for their Veggie Breakfast Sandwich on a plain bagel. It's nice to eat on the go when you have errands to run. Veggie Breakfast Sandwich: Comes with your choice of bagel with egg, veggie cream cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onions, and sprouts. Please please please do yourself a favor and head to Einstein bagels right across the street or Fifth Ave Balgery off of valley view and Ball Rd!! Those places have upstanding employees, better prices, and far better quality food. It's amazing that they ask you what kind of bagel you want and then not give you the bagels you asked for..... We ordered two everything bagels and one was obviously plain and the other was jalapeño cheese... which both are very different from everything seasoning. We called to let them know we received the wrong type of bagels with our order and their excuse was "sometimes the seasoning falls off...." Didn't know an everything bagel was the equivalent to a jalapeño cheese bagel. Their next response was "what do you want us to do about it." WOW SOMEONE GIVE THIS PERSON A RAISE FOR SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Places are really hiring just anyone off the streets now. Good luck working anywhere better than a bagel shop with that attitude. We will never be going back here. This place is way overpriced, terrible customer service, and terrible quality food. You would think for $40 you would get what ordered... especially when this place is not busy at all... makes sense why it's never busy. Great place to get a fresh bagel and coffee in the morning. I ordered the Three Little Pigs on a blueberry bagel and it's stacked. Hot and delicious. Had to pair it with an ice coffee latte. Very yummy!! I got the veggie breakfast bagel sandwich and it was delicious! I typically don't get veggie items, but I think i would stick to this one. The service was fine. I feel like it wasn't out of the world or something, but it wasn't an experience I didn't enjoy. It was simple, quick, and overall it works. The environment of the restaurant was very chill. I've only been there twice but both times the store was pretty empty. I think people tend to just get their bagels and then leave, but the store itself is pretty nice, calm, and clean. I know that this is a bagel shop, and I don't doubt that they have amazing bagels. However, I was craving a breakfast croissant so I made a quick pit stop on my way to work. I'm so glad I did! The sandwich was ready in 2-3 min. The croissant was toasted and had a hint of sweet. The cheddar cheese inside was gooey, the egg was FLUFFY, and the ham was thick cut! It almost tastes like honey ham. I'll be going back to get this tomorrow as well, because it's that good! Added bonus: they cut it in half without me asking for it. :@ love it! read more

This place is A-Okay for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. What I really like is that they have GARLIC cream cheese. Do you know how good garlic cream cheese is on a everything bagel, or even a garlic bagel? It is pretty darn good. They also have decent coffee. That is pretty much all I order here, bagels and coffee. They have other stuff. Stuff I have never had. They have changed their menu/signs recently. Not everything is labeled behind the counter. Only about half the bagels are labeled. The other half are not labeled. My eyes gravitate towards the signs, so I did not realize they obviously had other bagels today than what they had listed. Service is just okay. Nothing super friendly. Just take your order type of place with no chit chat. Located on Katella and Knott ave in a little plaza near yogurtland and Fantastic Sams. TLDR: This place is filthy. I called about an hour ago and the phone rang and rang. No answer. Tried again a few minutes later, nothing. I wanted to try them so I drove over. I walk in, and the entire space is HOT. It is swelteringly hot inside and super humid. The floor is unswept and I can feel the dirt underneath my shoes. The case in front had super disorganized sodas, water, juice, etc. that made it look like it never got cleaned or restocked. The glass in front of where you order had a menu that had grease stains and coffee stains, likely has been there for ages. The glass was super sludgy and dusty. The TV menu was off, which is bad for them because you could see how dusty and greasy it was. Then, I wait. For nearly five minutes I stand and wait at the register waiting? The younger lady looks up at me, and goes back to work. Mind you, I am the only one there and only one family outside already eating. When she finally comes over to me, she looks at me and says nothing. I say good morning and ask what they have on their menu. She points at the cardboard menu behind me. I ask her if they have a lox bagel like on their Yelp page, and she says "I don't know," and another girl chimed in and said they do. I ask how much it is, and she says "I don't know..." and then tells me it's $13. I tell her I'm going to pass and leave. Avoid this place. Love the bagels here! We take all our guests here too and they are always impressed. We have tried the whole wheat everything (a favorite), cheese, plain whole wheat, and pumpkin (seasonal). We have gotten the CCV (a little too salty for my taste, so I ask for reduced lemon pepper), veggie breakfast, and plain cream cheese. We have loved EVERYTHING! I found this gem while trying to figure out what to bring for breakfast to work. We actually live really close by this place but everytime I pass by they're often closed. However, 1 Friday morning I've decided to try it- it was during the height of pandemic- well despite the long wait for my order I must say, it was worth it! The bagels and costumer service is outstanding. I love the fact that their breakfast bagel sandwiches is really good and you can costumize it. My coworkers loves it too! Their cream cheese choices that comes with their bagel bundles are very good too. Their coffee doesn't disappoint as well. Our kids love their bagels and I must say, we found our neighborhood bagel shop where we can just walk or ride our bikes to on weekends.
