Absolutely crafted by the most skilled of witches I was obsessed with this potion. I want to try all of their drinks. The atmosphere is also fantastic, with a haunted mansion-esque aesthetic, and a little witchy shopping area. Burnt Umbers was started by a husband and wife couple, I met the husband and he was super nice, and the wife does graphic design, they both have wonderful artistic style which is a huge part of why this is the coolest witchy coffee shop probably on earth and with the best drinks.

They use ceremonial matcha which makes a huge difference. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte (74% sweet) after trying one previously in LA. I paid and waited for my order to be ready. After a few minutes, I received my order. I shook it up and tried it. Delicious! Even better than I remembered. My husband who doesn't usually enjoy matcha, tried it and liked it. He does not dig the earthy taste, but this drink changed his perspective. Airoma made my husband a believer in matcha. We do not usually go out too often for matcha, but when I'm in the mood next, this place will be a must visit. I'll have to try their egg coffee in the future too.

It does get pretty crowded so it's better to get an early head start if you can, especially on the weekends. In terms of their drinks, my favorite is the blueberry lavender matcha latte. It's on the sweeter side and has a floral aftertaste, but the flavors mix really well together. I typically get their matcha drinks or teas because I'm not a fan of coffee, but my friends that are coffee fiends are fans of the various coffee drinks here. I ordered a 12 oz strawberry matcha smoothie $7.25 and a 12 oz iced caramel hazelnut mocha $6.05. However, they forgot to add the strawberry puree to my drink so I ended up with a matcha smoothie, which was fine. It was served with light whipped cream on top, which helped the flavor as it had more of an icee-like taste to it. I probably would not get it again as there is plenty of good matcha elsewhere. The iced caramel hazelnut mocha was pretty good and had a nice aroma to it. I will try other coffee drinks in the future and look forward to trying their frozen hot chocolate. Since estate dales pop off in Buena Park this coffee shop has become a repeat on the weekend rotation. I recently tried their banana bread latte for the first time. This is not only banana flavored, but also has light pieces of graham cracker. There's no better way to describe this drink than a visual of my brain blowing - if only Yelp allowed emojis. I've found that a great quality flavored latte can be hard to come by. I like my morning beverages to be heavy on the caffeine - both in dosage and flavor. Arc has done a tremendous job of balancing the two. I've also tried their espresso tonic (insane) and their traditional matcha. Easily a top coffee shop in Orange County!

Their Coconut Coffee is one of their blended creation that uses Phin Smith's signature District 1 Blend which has a dark, bold, and intense coffee flavor with nutty undertones. The drink has a rich coconut crema which makes it silky and smooth flavour. Since it's a blend, the coconut pairs well with the strong bold coffee flavor. It's a bit sweeter which is what I like. It makes for a refreshing drink on those hot summer days. Service moves along well. You order your drink and once you've received your drink, you pay at the cash and then you can head out with beverage. I love how content all the staff are and there's many of them to make sure you get your drink in a timely manner. It's a must visit if you're in garden grove and craving for Vietnamese coffee.
