Pretty rad spot! I always try to look for a veggie option at bagel shops and this place was a hit!! First timer and I was very please!! Took a seat outside (covid life) waiting for my food to be done so I can go back inside and pick it up, but the nice worker dude brought it out to me. Their bagels are the best I've had. You can customize the breakfast bagels if you wish. I would always have a cafe mocha with my bagels and what a great breakfast combo! Meh..... maybe I missed something? I read some really nice reviews months ago and I finally made it in here. I looked down to see an assorted choice of bagels, however most were empty.... I went with the sourdough bagel, and I saw on a little sign above the choice of cream cheeses. I honestly don't remember all of the selections but there was plain, veggie, chive, and some berry ones. I chose the chive. I didn't really get to look at the menu but they have electronic menus above the register which I thought was pretty cool. They had some choices of breakfast bagels, a few sandwiches, a few paninis, etc.... From what I saw it looked like they had a lot of latte selections and a few mochas as well. I did see a raspberry mocha which kind of intrigued me so I may stop back in one day to try that. I asked what iced teas they had and one that she mentioned was the paradise iced tea. I asked what that was and she didn't know and asked the girl behind her which pretty much said "I don't know what's in it but we just brew it. Also we have those over there", and pointed at your normal Lipton bins of pre-made tea. Okay...??? Well what the hell, I went with it anyways. If you ask me, it tastes like passion fruit teas at most places....however it was yet another place that served me a cup full of ice and a little tea, where I can barely move the straw around. Ice must be hard to come by these days if I get charged a couple bucks for a small cup full of ice and a little drink... The bagel came out promptly and tasted good. You can't really mess up bagels.... the spread was a good amount too. I always enjoy a bigger amount of spread. I'm not a fan of dry bagels. Service wasn't the friendliest to me. I noticed more guys come out from the back. It looks like a lot of younger kids work here. So I may come back to try that mocha and grab a bagel while I am there, but this probably won't be at my top choices of places to visit for my bagel needs. read more

On my way to Huntington Beach, I came across this coffee shop on Yelp. It's a mom and pop bagel place at the corner of Katella and knots. Although it's small, it offers comfortable seating. The seats and tables are not too crowded. The south and east sides (I hope I got the directions right) are all glass windows to let the light in. The coffee I had was nice and aromatic, and the bagel was nicely toasted, fresh and chewy. The serving people are polite and friendly. Stop by and give it a try. If you're come for the first time, check in on Yelp, and you'll get a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee for $3.25. What a deal! read more

Came here to check this place out for breakfast while visiting here. I was indecisive at first but once I checked in I received a coupon for a bagel with cream cheese and a small coffee so I went with that. They have lots of flavored bagels and cream cheeses to choose from. The staff is friendly and very polite with their customers. The food quality is great and tastes amazing. The only bagels I really ever eat are the ones I buy at grocery stores and I'll just prepare them at home. I never knew that bagels can get better and have more variety. Our office is walking distance to this location so really wanted it to be a go to place for me but...after having been there several times, this morning I finally asked if they could please add some extra cream cheese on my bagel because the last few times it's been kind of light and that I'd pay for the extra. The gentleman said sure, and wouldn't charge me for extra this time because of my past experiences, but for future notice, it's $1.75 for extra. Surprised this place hasn't gone out of business. Been coming here for years and the staff is always rude and unwelcoming. I work in customer service, and specifically in food. I genuinely do not understand how places like this still stand with such horrible service. I walked in and stood there for five minutes before I had to say "Hi how are you!" with then the girl reponds "Hi" and then I proceeded to have to ask her if she was ready for me to order. Mind you, I am alone and the only customer in the place. I was so excited to support a small local business, unfortunately this place is clearly just poorly managed with employees who do not wish to be there. Like I said, as someone who works in food service, I find it extremely important and valuable to my company to treat each guest with a smile and positivity and warm welcomes. I don't know what all the negative reviews are about, this is a locally managed/run bagel shop with multiple options. They make them fresh every morning, and will have day old packs to sell at 1/2 price. I am always upset that they run out of the salt bagels, those are my FAV. But when you come 1/2 hour before closing, I can't be picky. They make the food fresh and fast and all the workers are very attentive and friendly. They have many items on the menu, but you can also customize your own order. We always each get a bagel with cream cheese, and then a breakfast bagel. This is a special treat when we come visit since we don't live in the area anymore, and my wife is gluten intolerant, but will deal with the consequences when we come because she loves their bagels. Now I remember why this place sucks! I had to come jere since it was the closest place for a bagel. I was greeted when I arrived and THAT WAS IT! Stood there for 10 minutes waiting for someone to help me. No one came up. People started forming a line behind me. Then another guy walked in and ordered off to the side. This place stunned me. I walked in the menu was a little hard to find but with the help of the super nice employees they guided me through it and I ordered an egg, cheese, bacon and avocado on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. The bread was soft but crunchy. So flavorful and joy with every bite. This is the go to breakfast sandwich. The service was fast and my order came out pretty quick. As far as neigBhborhood bagel stores go, I am going to go out on a limb and say that I like the Boardwalk Bagel store the best of all. It's not as close to my house as Blue Mountain, or Bagelry, but I definitely like the quality of Boardwalks Bagels more than the others. The texture of their bagels is so soft and chewy inside, with an amazing crispy crust. I haven't had the opportunity to try their sandwiches yet, but hope to soon! read more

One thing that mean my wife noticed was some of the employees were out of uniform. We also noticed some of the women employees we're not being very food safety conscious. Example: I saw one girl touching her face touching her back in other areas that we felt was perhaps maybe questionable for serving food.. What do I know? When we went there. The Staff always goes the extra mile to treat the customer right. They are always fast and attentive. Order item: sesame seed Bagel (St Patty's edition). Who doesn't like Green Bagels? My company ordered 7 dozens of bagels this morning and to our surprise they were Green!! How Cool!! I got the sesame seed bagel and added lots of cream cheese. In every bite you can tell they were freshly baked in the morning. Everybody is the office loved the bagels, so ill probably be going for seconds soon. Overall, nice breakfast joint for the go! This place doesn't look like much from outside so I was a bit hesitant. As a true Yelper I had to go tho lol! Their plain coffee is very mellow and not bitter at all. They have bagels, sweets, fruit, breakfast and lunch sandwich options. This is my second trip and I ordered a mocha to see how they stacked up vs Starbucks or one of the chain coffee stores and I have to say their &4.50 20oz mocha beats most chain stores IMHO a very solid 4 stars bordering 5. This is the best spot to get a bagel at! Being a garden grove local, I grew up coming to this place as a kid! There bagels are soo fresh and are made daily! My favorite bagel to get is the whole wheat everything bagel! This bagel is beyond delicious! Another thing that I love to get is a bagel sandwich, which has eggs, avocado, cheese and turkey! This is my favorite breakfast place to go to! I continue to come back to this place and even bring friends visiting from out of town to this place and they love it!
