Decor is standard bistro, with the menu dominating the wall behind the counter, and the front is glass windows. Very large selection of bagels, and quite a robust sandwich, menu, with the cappuccino machine. Staff is very friendly, and prices are very reasonable. Also, they just included pastrami as a deli meat. We shared a delicious cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and freshly toasted. They have a selection of pre-brewed coffees, and we also shared an adequate Colombian roast. Definitely want to come back and have a Santa Barbara sandwich with pastrami. While the lady behind the counter was very kind, overall I did not have a good experience. Iced coffee is just a cup filled with ice, you have to go pour piping hot coffee over it to end up with Luke warm coffee. No dairy free milk options or milk itself, just half and half. I got a bagel with Lox spread for about $4.65 only to realize that Lox spread is just cream cheese with tiny, microscopic bits of Lox. I guess I should have been more suspicious of real fish at that price. They don't have a large bagel selection, particularly for savory lovers. I got sesame and saw they also had salt & garlic (didn't look very appetizing). No cheese, Parmesan, everything, or jalapeño bagels. They charge an extra $0.50 for using any kind of card instead of cash. I won't be back. read more

I came in Sunday morning of mother's day to grab a bite to eat before visiting mom. I came in with one other person and there was a short wait. We noticed that most bagels had run out and it was around noon. I went for just a spinach bagel with regular cream cheese. I thought it was alright. The person I came with got their Palm Springs ($6.45)... also on a spinach bagel and with garlic cream cheese. It included tomatoes, red onions, avocado and lemon pepper. They thought it was whatever. Both our bagels took a long time to make. The ladies there weren't very helpful. The inside is typical of a bagel shop. Some chairs and tables to enjoy your food. I've had 2 different non-onion bagels here, and they both tasted like onions. One of them was a cinnamon bagel. It was like they took a Panera Cinnamon Crunch bagel, washed off most of the good cinnamonness, and then sprinkled on just a touch of inexpensive onion powder. Nice little Bagelry within walking distance from my house. I like walking here since I can burn off some of the calories I'm about to intake. Indoor and outdoor seating usually full of locals from the neighborhood chit chatting. They have a large variety of bagels and the few times I've been here they're always stocked up. My favorite thing so far is the everything bagel topped with sliced tomato and lemon pepper. When I saw pics of this I couldn't figure out why somebody would order it so I had to see for myself. I loved it so much that I actually went out and bought a bottle of lemon pepper to sprinkle on tomatoes at home! The acidity of the lemon pepper pairs perfectly with the tomato and combined with the buttery, garlicky, oniony bagel made for one delicious treat. You can get it with cream cheese too but I liked to keep it simple with butter. Another visit I tried their jalapeno bagel with lox cream cheese. I was a bit disappointed in the jalapeno bagel since it didn't have much flavor compared to other bagel shops I've been to but I did enjoy the lox cream cheese. Donna had their blueberry bagel topped some sort of flavored cream cheese and she liked it. Coffee is pretty good here and you get one refill. My biggest complaint about this place is the employees. They have absolutely zero personality and are borderline rude. All the other places around this area have a real friendly neighborhood vibe to it but here I feel like I'm completely bothering them. I see the same complaint in majority of the reviews for this place and it's the reason for the 3 star average. read more

It's always a good sign that they're usually missing a bunch of flavors when you go later in the day because they sell out of stuff. My favorite combo is jalapeno cheese bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. It's very good, fresh jalapeno cream cheese. Let me start off by saying I do not live in the area. My husbands dad lives in Garden Grove and we drive up from San Diego every couple weeks. We usually pick up a bagel sandwich from here. Literally the best bagels in the area, the only bagels that would satisfy my family from New York, there is a reason why they'd often run out of some flavors of bagel and spreads later in the day, the spreads were fresh and fantastic I always took one home, I loved the breakfast sandwiches, they'd require the spread though to really make them stand out, my favorites were the lox spread and the garlic and herb spread. My girlfriend loved the Ruben from the hot sandwich list. You couldn't go wrong with the pizza bagels as a snack. The workers were always kind to me they always remembered name actually, they often were just focused on their work which is totally cool, it's a pretty straightforward process to order bagels, some people seem upset at them in some of these reviews I'm just surprised people would need so much assistance at a local corner bagel shop. Their coffee game was simple, big containers of "Dietrich's" coffee, one specifically for iced coffee, honestly though it always tasted noticeably good and fresh I would often happily drink it black, like they actually seemed to take care when brewing it, it's the only reason why I remember the name of the coffee, I think they sold bags of it too off to the side. Came here after a dentist appointment at around 10:30am and got the egg, cheese (choice of Swiss or cheddar) and ham on a sundried tomato bagel with a small coffee. There's a .50 cent charge for debit less than $10 so it came out to like $7.50. Sure the eggs are cooked in the microwave, but that's what makes it fast and easy! And honestly, if I didn't see it happen behind the counter I wouldn't be able to tell the difference. The bagel was nice and fresh too, with a good texture. There was a good selection of coffee, like 4-5 different kinds with the options of non fat milk, half & half and sugars. Service was quick and friendly and the place was nice and clean.
