Bought my vehicle and on way home tire light came on, later found out child lock would not come off, floor mats were for a different model, steering wheel was crooked. They ended up fixing everything after about three or so trips. Thought it was over after picking up for the last time and check engine light on with code p0171 and they won't fix it. I was shown the car I asked to see - wasn't pressured into looking at any other cars - which I feel some dealerships do to help with sales. Derek Wayne So I gave it a chance, considering we all are human and we all make mistakes but God's grace falls up on us every day that we are living and we have to show example of his grace and mercy not only was Mr. Derek Wayne very understanding about the situation. He was also compassion about the situation and was determined to get to the bottom of it, but at this point I was done and could not take anymore. It was very emotional for me for one reason my father gave me this truck and that's why it made me sad after I paid money to get services done. Had an appointment with Bob Allen for an oil change and showed them the recall notice. They informed me their mobile unit could come to my house and replace the airbag. Spoke with Shane Rentfro to arrange date/time. The mobile unit arrive right on the dot, completed the replacement in 15 minutes and the two employees were professional, personable and courteous. They tried to scam me into paying for $1000 in repairs when all I needed was a battery change. I came into fix my remote start function on my 2016 mustang. They replaced the battery and told me it wasn't fixed and required another $1000 repair - a module replacement. I declined, I left after the battery replacement with diagnostics was $400 dollars. I love the fact that they have shuttle service both for drop off and return when your vehicle is done. I recently purchased tires and found their prices competitive with tire shops. Not happy so far with the service. I'll update my review if anything different happens, but I will just say this. I called and told the service guy exactly what was wrong with my truck and that it was a recall item on Raptors that is a very common problem and an easy fix, every forum and article I read states it takes a few hours max. He said great, my next availability is Wednesday, bring the truck in and we'll get it done. I asked, "what's the turnaround time on this?", and he said we'll call you by end of day. Okay great, I'll take my $70k truck in, they'll set me up with a loaner car, and I'll be done. I get to the dealership, ask him if they can do the 10k mile service while they do it, and can he make sure they put the oil that I bought and left on my floorboard in the truck when they change the oil. "Is there an oil filter too?" He asked. I told him no just use your guys' and I'll pay for it. I then ask to get set up with the loaner so I can go to work. Turns out I get taxied to work and dropped off because they wouldn't give me a loaner. Kind of annoying that I drop a $70k vehicle off and I can't get a vehicle to use while Fords bad engineering is being fixed on my truck. Drop the truck off at 7am sharp, don't hear a single thing all day about when I can come get it so I call at 5:45, 15 minutes before they close, and ask what the status is and if it's done. His response.. "oh yeah, it's cam phasers. You can come pick it up". I ask, "so did you fix it?". He said no, we diagnosed it as cam phasers. I literally told him exactly what the issue was on the phone before i scheduled the appointment. When I get there I find out they didn't do the service on the truck either, so basically my oil was still sitting on the floorboard untouched. Why did he ask if I had an oil filter then? When I asked why he didn't call me all day, and what was done on the truck all day. He responded and said "we diagnosed it". Nice. Long story short, I'm leaving this review 3 weeks later because I have called numerous times and never get a call back from the guy that I was working with. Simply trying to see when the trucks going to get done! This being said, now I'm not sure if I trust taking my truck back there to get worked on after leaving this review! He was very nice and was happy to help. Bob Allen Ford on Metcalf replaced my brake pads and rotors on 9/20/22. I received news from another mechanic that my rotors are now warped. I called Bob Allen yesterday to check on the possibility of the part being under warranty and was told they warranty Ford parts and labor but not for other models. I was also told because my car is older with high mileage that it may not be the parts but other things that could wear my rotors, or it was my driving. I take my car in for regular maintenance and was not previously advised of issues and have only driven my car 6000 miles since the brake job. The person I spoke with did ask if I would bring it in for inspection, but I declined. I don't wish to throw more money after bad when there is no possibility of warranty, and I could not trust their replacement parts. read more

After I explained I had never asked for an oil change can you please change the transmission fluid. He gave me the price for a transmission flush and a coolant flush....I had just changed my coolant...then proceeds to ask if I'm willing to pay $30 for the oil change they had already done and tire rotation...I just put two tires on my car and had them rotated before winter.... This is my first review ever I don't review anything i'm not looking to receive any handouts or reparations the way I was treated in this whole ordeal is unacceptable when I was paying dude didn't even talk to me he seemed annoyed no thanks or have a great day nothin just a "it could be worse" ya thanks !!! I advised my insurance company that I did not want my car repaired at this time, but wanted an estimate. They made arrangements with Bob Allen Collision Center. I dropped off my car for the estimate and called later to find out if it was completed. They said "yes" and we are already working on the repairs. I told them I was coming after my car and they said I could not because it was sanded and would rust. I do not have a car, no rental available and will have to pay the $1,000 deductible at a very bad time for me. Someone ran into my car while parked and they left the scene. The Collision Manager tried to put all blame on the insurance company. My insurance company stated that no repair should ever be started without authorization. I am notifying the Better Business Bureau and all other appropriate agencies. Don't go to Bob Allen collision. They are dishonest! read more

After my vehicle was hit in an accident and needed repairs, this location was on my insurers authorized repair list. I showed up for an appointment to have them look at the damage in mid October, the person doing the inspection told me it would take a few days for the parts to arrive and that he would get me in on the 31st and then be done in a few days. He told me he would call later with the dollar estimate, which he did a little later. A few days before the expected appointment I called to verify I would still get in on the 31st, I was told just to wait for the call. Finally, after not hearing anything from the dealership for over two week, I called my insurance company on the 14th of November to see what was going on. Essentially, I find out from my insurance company that the dollar estimate given to me over the phone by the dealership was never sent in any capacity to my insurance company. My insurance company was just as shocked as I was over the inability of the dealership to do what apparently they were supposed to do. I finally got my vehicle worked on somewhere else. Update: To their credit, they did talk to me recently and apologize for the situation and asked if I needed any more assistance in the matter. read more

After a $125.00 diagnostic fee they informed me that the oil filter was put on incorrectly by and therefore fell off. My car had a minor recall on a communications component - after getting a letter and call about it, the dealer scheduled and appointment/reservation with me. My schedule is mostly flexible when I not traveling so the operator suggested an appointment almost a week out from the time the part arrived, this worked for me so we schedule a 1pm appointment the week after Christmas. After taking off work and showing up 30 minutes earlier, I was greeted at the dealership with reservations I. The service department are just suggestions and they wouldn't be able to work on my car that day because it was first come - first serve. So I still haven't gotten to talk to anyone further at the dealership - despite trying to reach my sales person and a manager. I got a text and replied but there was no further communication. I am very frustrated that I wasted a day of PTO at work and drove to the dealership to keep an appointment they suggested only to be turned away. I will likely be taking my business elsewhere upon the termination of my lease. I realize mistakes happen - but I followed the procedure laid out for me to the letter. read more

The Service Manager, Jonathan Pankrez, went out of his way to help in getting my Ford Fusion fixed within a couple of hours of my call for assistance. He not only immediately knew what the issue was, but stayed at the dealership on his personal time and waited for my car arrive. My car was fixed and back on the road ASAP. He went above and beyond my expectations and I HIGHLY recommend Bob Allen Ford - Jonathan made a believer out of me that extremely high customer service is still out there! Liars! When I moved to KC, the noise got louder over time and finally I got new tires. When the sound didn't go away, I took it in to Bob Allen Ford, pleading for someone to give it to me straight--what the hell was wrong with my poor car!? It took their technician all of 3 seconds driving in my car to tell me what it was. It was not the tires at all, but some hub-axle-thing loose in there--bad news bears! The waiting area is nice. They have Starbucks coffee & hot chocolate. And a cute yellow lab that is a pro at smelling out food. He wouldn't leave my side (I brought a bagel with me) although he didn't particularly like to be pet. The service team is nice. Prompt at getting me in the door. My car's check engine light went on. I had already gone to an auto parts store and used their free engine diagnostics to see what the deal was. Their solution was a bit steep so I passed on fixing the issue. (this issue is something I can live with for a while) I like Bob Allen Ford, but their labor rates are waaaaaayyyy high, so unless it's an emergency, I will choose to have service issues resolved elsewhere. read more

Service department doesn't understand basic customer service concepts such as acknowledgment of your presence, greeting, instructions, etc. I don't expect much, but I do expect that people don't let me stand in a room full of customer service representatives for 10 minutes before acknowledging my presence and saying 'hello'. JEREMIAH IS THE WORST CONDESCENDING EMPLOYEE. If I could give them -5 stars I absolutely would. I took my car in on Tuesday morning for some issues it was having, caused by them, and received it back Friday morning. I drove it home thinking everything was okay because they check the cars before they go out. WRONG. My alignment was still off after spending $2500 in repairs. I take the car back and Derek Wayne tells me that nothing is wrong and that I don't know what's wrong with my own car, Derek then proceeded to tell me that the new tread on the tires is causing the pulling, so they rotated my front tires and everything is "good." WRONG AGAIN, Saturday morning comes and I take the highway to my destination, as i'm hitting about 65-70 a PIECE FLYS OFF FROM MY TIRE and cannot drive further without a heavy metal clanking noise and was stuck on the side of the road for about 2 hours because I could not drive. This place is terrible, has the worst service i've ever had, and they take advantage of your money. After I get it towed, Jeremiah tells me he "test drove" it and was still in the exact same spot the tow truck dropped it off in. Chico in the collision center is awesome. Stopped in there because my engine cover was hanging down and he saw that they got it right up on a "lift" and fixed it! There were 7 bolts/screws missing on the cover which obviously was caused by the "quick lube" place I had gone to recently for an oil change. I will be using Bob Allen Ford for all my Ford needs.
