    driver door

The reason i went here was my warranty with interstate star auto went through aamco for repairs. Last year my trans had issues at 35k miles or so, anyway they had it for two months. It wasn't to much of an inconvenience, we had a spare vehicle but still seemed like a long time. Mainly the reason I was told was they're waiting on parts. Okay, fine. Anyway after I got it back it was better but had a whine to it, I was told it's normal / fine. Alright not worth arguing, now I go back for a small repair which should have been covered under my warranty. They didn't bother listening when I told them my 4 year warranty is still active on the car but instead kept saying the one year warranty they gave me for the previous repair (rebuilt tranny $4400) expired.. that shouldn't matter I still have an active warranty on the vehicle for nearly everything... anyway I paid the $200 and called it a day. Well, I get it home and I didn't need to drive anywhere for a few days but when I got in today, I noticed they must have hit the door into something when it was open, the pic shows this piece on the bottom of the driver door with about half of the clips broken and a nice greasy hand mark on the headliner to top it off. Not worth calling them because I've heard it before and know how it goes. Otherwise The repair I went in for seems to be ok.

Left inside the car and I crashed because of them

I went there to get my oil filter housing changed and when I received the vehicle back I heard something grinding inside I immediately notified Duane which is the manger there he said some in Monday.....well unfortunately it was Friday night my steering wheel had got stuck and caused me to go up a curb along with damaging my front bumper and fender on a Chrysler 300s I then look under the car for any leaks Nd further damage I then noticed it was something red under the rack and pinion..that red object was a pair of Red SnapOn pliers lodge in between the rack and pinion I then called on Monday to let Duane know what I found he then said "yes I know one of my guys dropped something I told him don't worry about and to pull another vehicle in" I then asked him to pay for the damage which is completely in my right he then got pissed and said "your not going to tell me how to do my job I'll have the owner contact you and then hung up" it has been 3 days and I still have not heard from anyone

I immediately reached out to the West Herr Nissan dealership at 4:30. After waiting an hour for a return call, I placed a second call. The service manager instructed me not to drive, and to have the vehicle towed to their dealership. The service manager then stated that they would not be able to look at my vehicle until Friday or Monday. My choices, a 15-hour bus ride home, a one-way car rental, or an extended stay at a hotel with no transportation until they figured it out. John at Lamarco's Auto Service, an extremely kind gentleman, put me in contact with Chuck at Transmission Exchange. Upon my arrival, my car was immediately put on a lift and the issue identified as a rotted transmission hose. During my wait, Chuck did everything in his power to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I was even invited to join the crew for lunch! Transmission Exchange diagnosed the issue, completed the repair and I was on the road within a couple of hours. After my negative experience with West Herr, I had given up on receiving any kind compassion regarding my circumstances. A big thanks to Chuck, Mom & the crew for restoring my faith in the humanity. You guys rock! Lisa

When i first went there Chuck was very nice and friendly. called me back within a couple hours to let me know that my transmission needed to be rebuilt. He said it would take a few days. My vehicle ended up being there for 9 days before i got it back from the transmission rebuilt!!! when i got it back, immediately i knew something was wrong so took it back and spoke with Joe. Joe claims he drive it around and also had the owner Chuck drive it and both said it drives perfectly. Another week goes by and i take it back because its definately not driving perfectly as they said it was. Now this time Joe said oh yea i feel what youre talking about i think its the motor mounts but we dont fix that here we only do transmission work so youll have to take it to a general shop. Immediately i took it to another shop and within 10 minutes they found that one of the engine mounts was left loose and the bracket was damaged! This was NOT an issued before i took my car to Transmission Exchange and the fact that they refuse to help me now that they got their money is unbelievable!!! I will never go there again nor recommend anyone to trust these people with their vehicle. DONT DO IT!!! Once they get your money they will blow you off And not take accountability for any errors they made have made. Sincerely, Truly Disappointed Customer

Not only that, but he was confident that he would get it running. He showed me his equipment, more modern than anything I've ever seen at any mechanic shop. And he did it. He got the car working. Real Ones in the Auto Game - Miracle Moe's Lives Up to the Name…read more After being sold a lemon and left stranded by a dealership whose mechanic bailed on them, I got sent to Miracle Moe's--and I thank my lucky stars I did. That's where I met Tony and Moe, two legends who turned my auto nightmare into something manageable. They didn't sell me the car, but you'd never know it. They jumped in, took on the mess, and handled it with care like it was their responsibility all along. I'm talking catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, a busted turbo, purge valve, flex pipe--you name it, they tackled it. And when new problems came up? They never turned me away, sometimes even helping out at no charge just to keep me safe and on the road. No games. No scams. No pressure. Just real, honest, family-style service from two guys who genuinely give a damn. The kind of place that still believes in doing right by people. Fair prices, quality work, and a whole lot of heart. If you want mechanics who will go the extra mile (literally and figuratively), Miracle Moe's is that place. Tony and Moe--you're not just mechanics, you're miracle workers. Appreciate you both more than words can say.
