The food is great with their amazing steak tacos and warm chips. Their food looks very appetizing and looks the same compared to the image. Their service is great, the waitress came but every few minutes too ask for anything. The ambiance was ok with some floating parrots above and cool wall art. My wife and I are both from San Diego and my wife is half Mexican, so I safely say that we know the real deal. So we found a real deal here in the middle of farm fields. Service is very good and friendly. Ambiance is a bit on the hole in the wall side, but clean. I'm not too excited about the country music, but I guess the local community does. There are two Hispanic chefs that really know what they're doing. My Taco Al Pastor was treated with pieces of pineapple on top, which is the real traditional way to make it. Food is good most of the time. Staff seems over worked. When you get a seat you might be a while before getting served or once you get your food it sometimes takes 20 mins before being noticed for things like needing another drink or that an order was wrong. Even had a time where the waitress was told we were missing part of what we ordered.. Never received it. As we were paying up front she apologized for us not getting it, but nothing was done to adjust the bill. I prefer to get all of what I order and pay for. That only happened once.. And again, the staff did look way over tasked! Could use another body to help keep things running a bit more smooth! Would recommend for someone looking for Mexican food in the thumb, but don't go if you are in a rush at all. read more

So continues my reviews of La Hacienda. After my lack luster breakfast burrito I was anxious to try something else off of the breakfast menu. Opted for the Classic skillet. It was DELICIOUS!!! And it was almost too big to finish. (normal person wouldn't be able to or at least shouldn't lol) It reminded me of the Bakers Square skillets that I miss so much since they closed up in Michigan. First time here. It was Sunday around 11:30. My wife had the #1 combination and I had the enchiladas. One shredded beef, one shredded chicken and one pork which was outstanding. All sauces are homemade. Possible the best enchiladas I have ever eaten and I have had hundreds. Service was good, as well. Well worth the hour drive there and will do it again.
