Tony and I went to Bob Evans Restaurant and I had a really nice brunch. I decided to go with Half of BLT sandwich and Bowl of Beef Veggie Soup. Tony went with Rise & Shine Burger with Bacon & Fried Egg with side of French Fries. He had a Beer and I went Half & Half Tea. It was good! Glad we stopped in! Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. She checked on us several times Definitely recommend and definitely going back again I wish I had gotten French fries, they were done particularly well and they were the nice fat ones that I truly enjoy. They were out of Lemons... that's pretty frequently lately!!! I never purchase anything from there little gift shop

Bacon, eggs, crispy hash browns, buttery biscuits and coffee. YUM, YUM, YUM, you just can't beat it!

Talk about the perfect breakfast! I love two eggs over medium, with crispy bacon, home fries, toast and coffee. Just LOVE it!!! No one does breakfast better than Bob Evans! Yes, it's a chain, but I find so much personal care at each local venue I visit! LOVE Bob Evans!

First time at this diner, and to be TRUTHFUL, Not that impressed. Went inside, larger than it looks…read morefrom parking lot, but was immediately stopped in my tracks a group of locals spread out at the tables by the front door yapping and taking up space. It's okay to have the locals come daily, but HEY IN FRONT OF THE DOOR???? Come on guys, take it to the back corner Hubby grabbed a table against far wall away from the loud talkers while I went to counter to order. No warm greeting, no welcome have a seat, NOTHING but the local men jawwing The lady behind register took my order. I hadn't seen a menu but written out on chalk board above her head was some items so I chose 2 hot dogs for Tony with chili, onions and mustard and I did one with everything which here is chili, slaw, onions, mustard and ketchup and a Pepsi to share since no beer served. Took my seat, she brought our drink and 24 minutes later another lady brought our hot dogs. Now the lady behind the counter, later learned by loud locals was Rachel, she kept calling the chili a sauce when I ordered, but this was NO SAUCE it was chili...hamburger meat, onions, sugar lots of sugar and ketchup, lots of ketchup in her thick hot dog chili. It didn't have a bad taste other than too much suger, ketchup and slightly old from bottom of crock pot. But it is homemade, learned later she made it herself. The slaw was fresh tasting and again sweet, but the freshness was very noticeable and made it the winner on the end product. Onions was not old and odor over-powering so not bad either. A little to heavy on ketchup and mustard, would have tasted better if on the weiner and not the top of slaw to make all messy. The weiner was over cooked, and tough like old shoe leather. I literally had to dissect my hot dog to eat it. The bun was steamed, nice touch. $8.50 for 3 hot dogs and one Pepsi. Okay average price for an okay average Hot Dog. The Best in Jackson County, NO and definitely NOT the best in West Virginia. Unfortunately doesn't rate my TOP 10 list. Would I go back? NO but hey there is a group of locals who love it. Go yourself and give me your opinion. Friendly people though, just loud....hope Shortys daughter gets her car fixed soon!!!

First impression of the inside of the restaurant was great...kind of like speakeasy vibes, cool decor, dark. We were greeted by the water waiter who offered us three types of water to choose from. Waitress came over and took our orders. First thing to come out was the Waygu Beef Carpaccio. I took a pic of it but it didn't save to my phone for some reason but it was a solid 10/10. That garlic horseradish aioli was amazing. Secondly, my dad's meal came with a salad, he chose ceasar which might have had the best croutons on it that I've ever had. Bread was also served which was a sourdough, I believe, with 2 butter options (regular and garlic) and an olive oil. Very good. Dad's meal was the 14 oz bone in ribeye with a one pound loaded potato. He said all was very good. For my meal, I got the Cajun cream pasta with steak. It was perfection. There is nothing bad I can say about this dish other than I didn't think it was spicy at all. Didn't matter though because the flavor was great. With the Father's Day special, dads got a dessert and an old fashioned with their meal as well. For dessert, he got the lemon blueberry cheesecake. I took a bite of it and it was so good. The reason I didn't give this experience 5/5 stars is because the service was lacking. Typically, I factor in if the restaurant is busy. I'll start by saying, they were not busy. Out of the 13 or so tables, 6 were occupied including us. Our waitress maybe had us and another table she was waiting on. The waitress was very nice but I had to ask for items a couple times. Bread, drink refills, etc. The water waiter filled our drinks many times and then he stopped coming around. I asked the waitress for refills on our drinks and ended up having to remind her. I know technically it was the water waiters job so I'm not faulting her entirely because she did end up being the one to fill our glasses. At the end, she did tell us it was one of her first nights there so then we understood some of the hiccups. Again, very nice and certainly not a horrible waitress. She did great for the most part. We will definitely be back to try more menu items. Highly recommend- go try it out. Enjoy some food pics I took.
