Awful. Waited to be seated, with at least 3 people looking at us and walking on by. We were finally sat by one of the three who came back and took pity on us? Server was nice enough but could not care less. Coffee was cold, all 3 times I asked for refills still somehow it was never hot. Kids burger came out dry as a bone with nothing asked for on it. Other kids mashed potatoes came out with no gravy- had to wait for almost 15 minutes before she came back so we could ask for it. My omelet was so sad, tablespoon of burnt sausage and almost no cheese. Hash browns were rock solid and old brown, as were the fries. Had to ask again for the biscuits that came with my meal but didn't. Did I mention it took 50 minutes from ordering to receive this wonderful feast? Based on the color and density of the food it was sitting under a heat lamp for about 30 of those minutes, almost inedible. Unbelievable. No one came in for at least 30 minutes after us so they couldn't claim to have been too busy, and there seemed like plenty of people "working". One star for the place being clean. People choose Bob Evans because it's expected to be consistent from location to location pretty much anywhere in the country. This location, never again. read more

It was a very long wait for the overall service. Got here at 3:55pm and it took a whole 45minute to a hour to bring my food out and about 5-10 minutes to be seated/ seen by a waiter. The dinning area was completely filthy as well as the seating that was going to be given as it was covered with splattered ranch all over the place. I ordered the fried pickles which I was very excited about but they also took 20 minutes to come out and has been the only thing received within the hour and a half. All that was ordered was a burger with fried and chicken tenders with fries. The pickles also were very salty and over battered as well as the chicken tenders. Also the barbecue sauce was HORRIBLE!! It took another 15 minutes for them to tell me they couldn't find my order (I had confirmations via text and email). So I waited 30 minutes for nothing. Every time I visit my hometown, I love eating at places that may be a regular for the locals but I can't get it at home. And this one of those places. My mom and I went here for breakfast my last day in town. We were seated immediately even though it appeared they were short staffed. After seated, we were given our menus quickly and received our drinks quickly. Our food order taken quite fast as well. But it did take some time to receive our food. Upon receiving the food, the plating wasn't the best. It almost looked like the food almost slid off the plate. And for some reason there was a delay for my mom's toast (that was included with her meal). When she received her toast there was a huge hole in it smh. But my food was delicious and I ate all of it! And it did take some time to request our bill to pay as our waitress was nowhere to be found. Lastly, the place was really nice on the inside. Neatly organized and most importantly very clean. A "regular" sized salad (large portion) is just under $12. The regular wildfire chicken salad I got was delicious and had approximately one small chicken breast cut into chunks scattered on top. It came with two very stale rolls which were inedible. My beef with Bob Evans is that they only give you one chicken breast chopped up (see photo) with the family sized salad meant for 4 people. Went there this afternoon around 12 :30 pm got seated and waited about 15 minutes for waitress to come and take drink order. 15 minutes later water and empty coffee cup came cream for nonexistent coffee also came. No coffee but order taken about 15 minutes later. Coffee and drink came about 5 minutes later .1:30 no food. Our experience at this Bob Evans was fantastic! They were clearly short staffed but the shift manager, Demitria, made sure we were so well taken care of and is literally Wonder Woman! She was greeting/seating people, waiting tables, bussing tables, cashing people out at the front counter and was back with the staff in the kitchen. She had such a wonderful demeanor. I would have been an absolute wreck wearing all of those hats but she made it look effortless. If I owned a restaurant, she would be GM material. All of our food arrived hot and delicious. You can't expect the best food you have ever eaten at Bob Evans but what they do deliver is just nice comfort food at a reasonable price. I got a slice of hot apple pie as dessert and holy cow that was good! It had a caramel drizzle and a dollop of whipped cream on top! We can't wait to return! We also tried the Blue Ribbon Bacon as an appetizer. It was sticky and messy but very very tasty! Also, for those who enjoy mimosas... they serve mimosas at this location! Yall I don't know why sometimes i don't eat until 1:00 pm or after,, I know it isn't good because I am Uber full...anyway! I was out and about spending money and having buyers remorse and was suddenly hangry. Ya'll not only do I have buyers remorse I have anxiety about choices. Especially as it relates to food. So, I like to go to a place that has choices. Not a lot, but enough that I can feel like I'm getting my money's worth because I had options. I was so hungry, I turned to the Yelper and I don't know what the hell was going on, but lots of places were closed around the 2/3 pm hour on this Monday. I'm sure it has to do with the pandemic, but until I started writing this review, all I could think about was don't these people (restaurants) know that I'm hangry!!! I typed in a series of filters until I couldn't take it anymore and just chose Bob Evans! One thing for certain, is that I have never been to a Bob Evans and the food was bad. Hence my ordering the Honey Butter Chicken & Biscuit dinner. Two hand breaded, crispy fried breasts topped with butter and honey, a biscuit and 2 sides. I ordered the Buttery Broccoli. Now the meal came with a biscuit, but you could also request a dinner roll or banana bread. I opted for the banana bread, just for a different flavor and to the banana bread I say a resounding No. Overall, my meal was tasty and I ate the whole thing. My husband and I woke up on a Sunday morning with almost no groceries in the kitchen and decided to get breakfast at Bob Evans on a Sunday morning. We were seated promptly. I got coffee, the double blueberry hotcakes and bacon. My husband got French toast, hash browns, sausage and a Coke. The food came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. They are doing a good job with spacing out tables to keep people socially distant and the shift manager stopped by to ask how our meal was, which was really nice. I would encourage patrons to remember that if you get up from your table to have your face covering on. I saw several customers walking to the payment counter or to that bathroom without them on and it made me a bit uneasy. Other than that, it was delicious, just what we were hoping for! read more

For ex; They don't have drink holders/carriers, so you either don't get your drink or the Doordash person spills the liquids trying to deliver them. Meanwhile your incompetent employee then says after I was charged $18.09 that this order isn't for delivery yes not delivery WTF I said because I'm pissed off and I reside on the westside of Cleveland off W130th and my Gurlfriend doesn't drive and resides off East 131st street in Cleveland. So your female incompetent employee puts the manager Paul on the phone and says he's sorry for the miss understanding and that he was gonna reverse the payments to add back on my card which hasn't been sent back in a day short of 2 full weeks. Two weeks man. You as the Owner must Condone this BS because Paul your incompetent manager didn't do his Freakin job as well as the other incompetent employee who placed the for delivery knowing dam well it wasn't going to be delivered. I cannot comment on the food as we left before it arrived due to a situation that occurred prior to us receiving our food. A man who pulled in and sat down at the same time as my group did, sat by himself at the bar. His food arrived quickly and the waitress tossed the food on the counter to him and he failed to catch her toss. The plate fell all over is pants and clothing. He stood up in surprise and not one employee offered an apology or even said a word to this man. The man walked out and after he left, we overheard the five staff including the manager, standing around making remarks on how the guy was rude and deserved it. So corporate knows, we went at January 26th, 2020 at around 10:35am. This location looks quite new - it's modern and chic with a sense of 'homey-ness. By far the worst service at a Bob Evans I have ever experienced. Usually my go to for a quick stop sit down restaurant. The waitress Doryann didn't serve us drinks for 15 mins. My cup was half full. And then she laughed that it was only half full saying she'd bring another out. Never received that glass. Or a refill. Actually started a timer to see how long it would take. 20 mins went by. Every time we order banana bread it comes out first. Never received it. Our meals came out 40 mins later. My meal came out cold. And the kitchen is loud and unruly and the orders aren't fresh the waitress is very short mannered and the staff are enjoying their time more so than the veterans they've been loud and ghetto since 11 and it's now 12:33 my father served in Vietnam and should have been relaxed not looking more than three times at the loud female and flamboyant servers and kitchen staff enjoying their time more so than the people who actually served our country. Very rude and unprofessional and inconsiderate not to mention the three meat omelette only had one meat and no onions that was requested. Bob Evans is Bob Evans. My family went there all the time when I was a kid, which I liked because there was always a chance Mom would let me have pancakes for dinner. I had a hankering tonight for "comfort food" take-out and ordered the pot roast ( with mashed potatoes and gravy, and carrots) and a small salad. I ordered colonial dressing because I was curious, and got ranch dressing. Is colonial just like ranch, or did they give me the wrong one? Salad was okay--only lettuce, tomato and cheese (this is a Bob Evans hallmark; they put cheese on everything). Used my own dressing. The pot roast was not bad and a big enough portion. The gravy was pretty salty, but had the taste of nostalgia that I was looking for. The carrots broke my heart. They were barely cooked, and hard. Don't cooks check to see if their food is done? I actually had to microwave them in order to eat them. The rolls were okay, but made me wish I'd ordered biscuits. No butter included. Overall, the price was too high by about $5. So, it was Bob Evans, and it was fine. If you don't expect really good food, you won't be disappointed. read more

I've dined here dozens upon dozens of times and I've decided to give up. The restaurant is chronically undermanaged, servers and hostesses walk around in a daze, communication bad, ticket times are 20-25 minutes, dirty tables, slow service, wrong food items, out of food items, they seat you in an odd spot near the bathrooms away from eveyone else for no good reason. I swear the whole staff is on drugs. When they do get an order right it seems to be a pleasant experience but it has gone south in the last 4 to 5 years.
