    stale rolls

A "regular" sized salad (large portion) is just under $12. The regular wildfire chicken salad I got was delicious and had approximately one small chicken breast cut into chunks scattered on top. It came with two very stale rolls which were inedible. My beef with Bob Evans is that they only give you one chicken breast chopped up (see photo) with the family sized salad meant for 4 people. The family-sized salad cost me nearly $30 and I get one chicken breast with my pan of veggies!?!? Way too expensive to ever get again.

Our experience at this Bob Evans was fantastic! They were clearly short staffed but the shift manager, Demitria, made sure we were so well taken care of and is literally Wonder Woman! She was greeting/seating people, waiting tables, bussing tables, cashing people out at the front counter and was back with the staff in the kitchen. She had such a wonderful demeanor. I would have been an absolute wreck wearing all of those hats but she made it look effortless. If I owned a restaurant, she would be GM material. All of our food arrived hot and delicious. You can't expect the best food you have ever eaten at Bob Evans but what they do deliver is just nice comfort food at a reasonable price. I got a slice of hot apple pie as dessert and holy cow that was good! It had a caramel drizzle and a dollop of whipped cream on top! We can't wait to return! We also tried the Blue Ribbon Bacon as an appetizer. It was sticky and messy but very very tasty! Also, for those who enjoy mimosas... they serve mimosas at this location! I never knew Bob Evans did that!

Yall I don't know why sometimes i don't eat until 1:00 pm or after,, I know it isn't good because I am Uber full...anyway! I was out and about spending money and having buyers remorse and was suddenly hangry. Ya'll not only do I have buyers remorse I have anxiety about choices. Especially as it relates to food. So, I like to go to a place that has choices. Not a lot, but enough that I can feel like I'm getting my money's worth because I had options. I was so hungry, I turned to the Yelper and I don't know what the hell was going on, but lots of places were closed around the 2/3 pm hour on this Monday. I'm sure it has to do with the pandemic, but until I started writing this review, all I could think about was don't these people (restaurants) know that I'm hangry!!! I typed in a series of filters until I couldn't take it anymore and just chose Bob Evans! One thing for certain, is that I have never been to a Bob Evans and the food was bad. Hence my ordering the Honey Butter Chicken & Biscuit dinner. Two hand breaded, crispy fried breasts topped with butter and honey, a biscuit and 2 sides. I ordered the Buttery Broccoli. Now the meal came with a biscuit, but you could also request a dinner roll or banana bread. I opted for the banana bread, just for a different flavor and to the banana bread I say a resounding No. Overall, my meal was tasty and I ate the whole thing. I can't say that I'll be back to this particular BE, there are a few other places in the area that I'd like to try. But yeah, head over.

    Double blue berry hotcakes

My husband and I woke up on a Sunday morning with almost no groceries in the kitchen and decided to get breakfast at Bob Evans on a Sunday morning. We were seated promptly. I got coffee, the double blueberry hotcakes and bacon. My husband got French toast, hash browns, sausage and a Coke. The food came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. They are doing a good job with spacing out tables to keep people socially distant and the shift manager stopped by to ask how our meal was, which was really nice. I would encourage patrons to remember that if you get up from your table to have your face covering on. I saw several customers walking to the payment counter or to that bathroom without them on and it made me a bit uneasy. Other than that, it was delicious, just what we were hoping for!

First our 5-10 min wait was more like 20 mins. Then.. HOW do you specialize in breakfast and have crappy bacon??? Seriously... microwaved bacon.. and our server was rude as hell. She forgot my drink and when I mentioned it, instead of apologizing she goes "yea" and eventually came back with it.. we were all bone dry before our waters were refilled. She passed food over our heads instead of walking around the table... mediocre service and mediocre food.

When you enter, you'll order with the cashier and then find a seat with your number. Typical counter service - but what makes Northstar special is that the interior feels more like fine dining and the food is much much better than your standard fare. Worth a trip for its own merits, the fact that it's located in a nice shopping area is also a draw, especially for a weekend when you want to have a leisurely stroll.

Frittata was good too. We also had hot chocolate and hot apple cider... Perfect for the cold January morning. Overall we liked this place and highly recommend it.

Figured we'd give Tommy's a shot, not knowing it's this long-standing institution with a devoted fan base. That fandom is deserved. Brightly lit, clean, friendly staff. We were seated immediately. Really interesting menu with a lot of vegetarian and eclectic choices. $5 basket of fries was wayyyy big and some of the best fries I've ever had - a nice crispness on the outside, while fluffy inside. Wife's spinach pie with muenster cheese ($11.85) was flaky and generous with the fillings. Loved my $3 phosphate. My DC falafel sandwich ($14) - with sesame seeds, cheese, sprouts and tomatoes - was crazy big and the falafel was perfectly cooked, with a nice crunch. Our server Kelsey was really personable. All in all, just a great dining experience and if we lived in the area, we'd be frequent fliers at Tommy's.

Venture out and explore the area while visiting the inn. Let me share my latest experience, one of many. AMBIANCE: This cafe feels nostalgic and comforting. Simple surroundings - white brick walls, plaid tablecloth, chalk menu boards, and CLE spirit on the walls. It feels like the cafe recently received a gentle face lift. You'll usually find the cafe quiet during early weekday mornings and very lively on weekends. Seating is limited to one dining room. If I had to describe this cafe in one word it would be unpretentious. FOOD: I visited this cafe plenty of times over the years. My favorite dish is lemon ricotta pancakes - perfectly zesty, fluffy, and perfect. I find the rest of the menu to be simple - Benedict, omelets, scrambled eggs, pancakes, burgers, and sandwiches. Early birds (7-10 AM, dine-in) get access to $7.99 value breakfast special. What a deal! My latest order included Meat Lovers Omelette ($11.32), Texas Toast ($0.50), and Hot Tea ($3.08). The price for omelette was different from the menu, listed as $12.99 in the menu. The up-charge for Texas Toast was not shared during ordering. The portion was pretty small, extremely light on the meat. Potatoes were cold. Toast was very small, and also not warm. The meal was not as good as during my previous visits. The tea was a small teapot of tea for $3.08. The tea was just Bigelow tea bags. The teapot did not look particularly clean. Pricing tea so high for tea bags is a strange choice. It seems like a very handsome profit margin. SERVICE: The service was really good and customer focused. In the past, the service used to be chaotic and mediocre. My waitress Anastasia was very warm, attentive, and anticipated my every need. She also informed me about the timing of the order. Huge kudos on service! Great change! PARKING: The main parking area is a parking garage on Coventry. The garage is city owned and free to use. There is also free limited parking in the area. I would recommend visiting the Inn for lemon ricotta pancakes. They are really a special and delicious breakfast meal. I won't be a frequent visitor. I'd rather have a more hearty breakfast that is warm and delicious.

To my surprise there was a Restaurant in a glass atrium and gave me vibes of being back in Orange County, CA or LA. We had reservations at 11:30 am. and arrived at 11:15 am. We were asked to wait. There seemed to be a lot of employees walking around and many tables were open but seemingly still had to wait. So 15 minutes later we were taken to our table. The air conditioning was definitely on point so bring a jacket. Our server warmly welcomed us and wished me well for Father's Day. Shockingly the restaurant didn't do anything special for fathers as a complimentary gesture. The server took our drink orders and waters came within minutes and after that everything went into "SLOW MODE". My daughter's Cesar salad came in about 20 minutes from the order. Our main entrees came out (1) Hour after the salad and my lamb chops and potatoes were warm at best. The flavor for the lamb-chops were wonderful but the potatoes were very salty. I would skip on the green beans as they had no flavor and only topped with kosher salt. My wife enjoyed her breakfast plate and the sausages were HUGE. The pancakes seemed to be the big hit. They were sharply thin and had amazing vanilla flavor on their own and were wonderful without maple syrup. They didn't last long as my daughter devoured my wife's portion. My daughter liked her truffle fries but had some challenges with the Steak Sandwich as her jaws were hurting after eating the first half. The type of roll used is very chewy and unfamiliar as we are originally from Philadelphia. (I know, bad decision) but she had her choice. No sweet treats for us. The ambiance is amazing but I would say that we would return. The food was fine except for my temperature but our issue was predominantly the wait time. Happy Father's Day
