Today what happened with a to go order from BE, was appalling. The order was for a large to go order. It wasn't reviewed until arriving home. The containers were half full, with potatoes, coleslaw. Amounting to 4 servings of 1/2 of a cup each. The order was for 8 servings. The butter for the rolls. Was placed on top of the hot items. So it melted all over everything in the box of hot items. The whole situation caused added work. When the idea was to decrease time and effort by ordering the meal. Don't order a to go order from here. They will not give you what you payed for. read more

The food is always good here. Very much American comfort food. They allow you to split entrees, because their portions are always large. We came in May when I completed radiation and they were wonderful. They actually gave us dessert and packed it up so that we could take it home. We also went for our anniversary. Your cook sings and dances along to a blaring radio, serves under cooked sausage, and when told about it by an upset server says, "I've got more raw meat if they want it", for the whole dining room to hear. I've been to a number of Bob Evan's, all of which are chainy and cookie cutter same. One of the things that bothers me about them all is that everything is intentionally overcooked which of course they say is to comply with health and safety standards. That may be true, but overcooked is overcooked and to me basically food, possibly good food, the texture, taste and flavor of which they have ruined. This particular Bob Evan's isn't one of the better ones. The parking and drive around is confusing and the customer base tends to have too many baseball cap wearing rednecks in it; but such is life in the Appalachian hills of Pennsylvania. read more

first off big s/o to the cook on 9-2-23 i never eat all my food,but this steak well done /w saluted mushrooms and onions tasted so delicious!! take out at about quarter til closing and they did not disappoint at all. im the most pickiest person... on top im upset at my hotel stay across the street, but this made me happy. i was upset i had to eat my food in this nasty hotel thats it. Got seated immediately even though it was busy, our food waitress came to get our drink order within 2 minutes of being seated.the table and seats are clean. Our server Madi came over to get our food order right after we set down our menus. We received our rolls and side salad first before our dinner, but unfortunately had no silverware to eat it with . My sons noodles were mushy and my wife got the pot roast sandwich which was dry. She received mashed potatoes with gravy, but it was turkey gravy with a beef dinner. I had a hash brown bowl with eggs and roast which was the only cooked correctly. Than we actually found the core of the lettuce in our salad . And after being out of coffee for 10 minutes, still waiting.........and as she went to give me my Check I was finally able to get a refill. Finally time to go, not the best ever . read more

Ordered chicken noodle soup and vegetable beef soup in quart containers to take home ... soups are pretty good, still hot even after a 20 minute drive... the problem is their dinner rolls ... what happened to the delicious ones they used to make ? These look like they took frozen dough out and baked them. They need to rise and then bake. They were flat, hard and didn't have a good taste. They need to hire a roll baker ! read more

The assistant manager was amazing and so sweet. Our waitress was so nice and quick. the most important part was the food was fantastic.

We stopped for a bite on our way out of town. My husband has the steak skillet and I had oatmeal. The biscuits were great and my husband said the steak skillet was wonderful. If I could give this place no stars I would. Word of advice to those who work here, if you see someone walk in and they are waiting to be seated, greet them. It doesn't look good when the whole staff is behind the counter and everyone is just staring at you and no one even bothers to seat you or even say hello. If you want to not be waited on go to this restaurant. We just stood looking at everyone and eventually after waiting we just walked out. Worst customer service ever. read more

Bob Evans in warren is my fave place to be. I asked for my bacon to be extra nasty and it was and I loved it. My waitress Emily Byrd was awesome possum. She's pretty good at her job. She brought me water and a cappuccino pronto. Also I'd just like to say Wendy is a very good manager. Chatted with me and made sure everything was okay and such. But yeah anyways. Everything was good except I couldn't see the label on my ketchup bottle and I had to manually turn it towards me and it took a lot of energy. read more

Mr. Evans is probably rolling over in his grave because this chain of restaurants is about as far from the original concept as you can get. Don't even think of deviating from what's on the menu or asking for something to be cooked to your liking. Bob Evans used to have some redeeming qualities years ago. But the food comes out like something I could have microwaved and the staff and management often act as if they are there against their will. And don't be surprised if you have to wait 20 minutes for coffee. After all, the waitresses have more important things to do like discuss what they did the night before, rather than attend to paying customers. The Warren location has to be one of the worst I have experienced and I absolutely will not go there anymore. In summary, don't waste your time. If you're looking for a familiar chain type place, Perkins is the only sensible alternative. P.S.
