I have been here a few times, so I can say this with what I have seen. The owner is rude to her employees. I saw her yell at one of them and when i looked at the back I noticed that she put her finger to scoop out one of the kind of flavored syrup into my drink (i wanted to throw it away but i already paid like $6 for it). It was a bit disappointing and my frappe was really icy, i had to basically eat it from all the ice! I don't recommend coming here, but the popcorn chicken is pretty good. It's still overpriced, especially the crepes! I noticed it is like $12 for a crepe, and it's not even that big. I also noticed the slow service because of the lack of workers. Honestly I would give this place a zero if I could... first time going there tonight and I was thoroughly disappointed. Ordered a hot tea and it took 25 minutes to get, mind you when I went up to ask about it they said it was coming up soon and magically it was ready in the next minute while I watched them make it. Which means they hadn't even started making it until I said something about it taking a long time while 6 or 7 other people who ordered after me who got more complex drinks got their orders ahead of mine. To add to the issue, I had ordered it sweetened and had no sweetener in it whatsoever and when I asked if they could fix it the girl at the counter rolled her eyes at me and became very irritated claiming she had made it sweetened and "I guess we could remake it for you" was apparently her most polite response. They do not know the difference between black coffee and coffee with milk. Vietnamese coffee cold brew is NOT black. It has condensed milk. The workers there should really know their coffees better. Terrible service. They just looked at me when I told them I ordered it black but was given with condensed milk. Then they proceeded to talk smack when I overlooked their mistake and decided to walk away. BobaTime, please hire appropriate workers who know their drinks. Or, please train them better. Haven't been here since there was writing on the walls. Ordered the strawberry peach green tea and it tasted really good! Fast service, got our drinks in under 5 minutes and the lady was very friendly. The only downside was that the boba was a tad hard and the drink was a little too sweet. OVERPRICED. Very disappointing. I ordered from uber eats or doordash and got the food delivered. I ordered a Crape with nutella(plus $2.50) strawberries(plus $2), and powdered sugar($1) and a tres leeches cake. When my food arrived the crape was cold. Then was the thinnest layer of nutella and basically no powdered sugar. The crape was below average for the cost for sure. Now let me say I am completely offended that anyone would have the nerve to call that cake a tres leches cake. It was not moist in anyway and it had parts that were like frozen like it came from the freezer. It tasted old and dry. Tres leches cake is supposed to be very moist as it is pretty much soaked in tres leches hence the name!!!!. That sad excuse of a cake was $5 something. NEVER EAT HERE!!!! read more

I honestly would give it no stars at all, but I love their Nutella Tai Yaki a lot, so I'm being a little nice. The only thing I would ever recommend to anyone is their Nutella Tai Yaki. They are 3 for 5 dollars, and their red bean Tai Yaki are 5 for 5 dollars. Anyway, they are tiny fish cut outs filled with Nutella inside. They make it right in front of you, so you know its fresh even though there is a wait. But I honestly think 3 for 5 dollars for the Nutella Tai Yaki is really pricey, but oh well. Anyway, the reason why I would give them no star is because this place just SUCKS! They always get my order wrong, and it's really annoying. To be honest, I'm never a complainer, I always give places second chances no matter what, and my mom owns a restaurant herself so I try not to complain a lot because I know how the customer service business works or I even try to give tip here and there. But this place pushed it a little too far. So I called in the store to order for pick up. I clearly remember what I ordered. I ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea extra sweetened (because I love my drinks sweet) with light boba. I go pick it up, and I'm excited to try my drink, and then I take a sip and I'm just like, WHAT THE HECK IS THIS!? By the way, this was after I got back to work. It was NOT sweet at all. It was SO GROSS to a point where after 2 sips I just had to throw it away. It literally tasted like bitter milk that went bad for days. And you could see in the cup, after a while, that the water and the tea mix was separated. Like what the heck. I didn't even call them complaining cause I didn't have the energy to argue. Okay strike one. So I thought of giving it one more shot. So I ordered again the same week, a pick up order but this time I wanted to try something different. I ordered the Taro Milk Tea extra sweetened with light boba. And one peach slush with NO boba for my friend. I go and pick it up, and again I drive back to work, and once I get to work I'm excited to see how my second try would taste like. OMG, I'm not exaggerating or anything but the Taro Milk Tea was sweet at least, but you could taste the powder in the drink. As if they just put water, the Taro powder in it, and then just served it. And it wasn't light boba, it was regular boba. And on the other hand, my friend's peach slush had boba in it too! Like really? Is it really that hard to get someone's order right? And they are never too busy, and they get two drink orders wrong? I don't know, I gave this place two tries and I'm never ever EVER coming back here for boba at all. I went here once just to try it out & my son mentioned his gma took him & he liked it. I ordered the Thai tea to go. It did take some time for my drink to be prepared & when it was the girl yelled TARO TEA! I didn't respond as that was not what I ordered, but I thought it was strange she was yelling since it was only 3 people inside. I looked up & she waived at me. I walked up & told her I didn't order taro I ordered Thai. She then says "no you didn't, you said taro". I said I didn't...I don't even know what that tastes like. She then says they'll change the drink for free. I told her it's not a change since that's not what I ordered to begin with. Her boss yells at her what's wrong with the tea & she says I said taro by mistake......who does that?! How do you know what I'm thinking to determine it a mistake? I love fruits, I've been raised in the middle of fruits because of my grandma's business. I've been to many boba places around gardena/torrance/la but never found one that would give me a real fruit taste. This place is the exception. I could tell right away that they put fruit because of the taste and since then I've been coming for more. The place looks nice and the owner is helpful when trying to choose a drink. If you want a real fruit taste and not the taste of tons of powder and syrups, I'd recommend you this place. If you love fruits like me, this place is a must go for you. read more

Regular Milk Tea Boba ($4) - At $4 for a regular milk tea boba, I expect it to be perfect, but the boba was not cooked all the way and it was hard at the core. And yet, the outer parts were soggy so they they just served old half-way cooked boba. Yuck. The tea was creamy and decent, but they make it with honey, which I don't like. Ambiance: They upgraded the interior but they still managed to look hideous. Should have just used white or something for the walls. The place does, though, looked well kept. They have wifi but only one power outlet. Service: Service was okay. The girl who took my order was nice. Price: Over-priced. $4 regular and $4.50 large. They also charge $.50 for credit cards.
