A unique boba shop is hard to come by, and Boba Bee is just another generic shop, so don't get your hopes up. If sugar is your concern for drinks, I'd be wary of buying them as they don't provide zero sugar options, and 25% is still lovely. This place tries to modernize it a bit and make some interesting twists but the actual milk tea itself was a bit off. Strength ok, milk ok, sweetness not enough - barely noticeable. The brown sugar sauce swirled around the cup makes a nice looking effect but you don't really get the flavor because it's on the sides of the cup. Should be blended! With a few tweaks this place could be great but I didn't like having to wait 3 minutes while the "bros" in back played grabazz and ignored me, nor do I think it's appropriate to automatically hustle you for 20% tip. You make a $6 drink - 60 cents is appropriate for excellent service. Don't be greedy unless you want to provide full sit down service. read more

I received a FiveStars notification that they offered a discount so I went here because I was in the area. It said this offer was available October 1 and 2. There was a short line when I got there but the problem with it was that each party ordered large quantities of drinks. I think someone in front of me racked up a huge bill so it took a long time to get my drink compared to if I went somewhere with no line or thirsty people ahead of me. Additionally there were a lot of people inside waiting because of the order backup. They accepted cash, since I wasn't in the mood to swipe a credit card. I was buying for other people so I did not drink anything personally. The transaction was conducted properly and the discount was properly applied. According to their menu, their "brown sugar milk tea" contains milk. I'm pretty sure that milk tea contains milk, unless we're in that Simpsons episode where they didn't have the budget for milk and instead gave everyone Malk. read more

What a great group of employees! They are so patient. I am an older Boba fan & was with my nephew with a family member back home who was ordering by text (and not in a timely way!) These four took it all in stride & gave exceptional service. One of them was brand new & she was super friendly and enthusiastic. The tallest guy started us out and was a total gent. Boba bee is great!!! The shop itself is tiny but it's super cute and cozy. The staff here rlly make you feel welcome. I especially want to give misa a shout out. I had a hard time deciding between their plentiful drink options and she was so patient with explaining the menu and making sure I got a drink that suits my taste. There was another employee i think named Kris who was also super sweet :). My drink was ready within a minute or two. I ordered the mama bee which is an Ube milk tea with creme brûlée.
