    Pistachio Milk Tea with Boba
    Evelyn T.

My last order was the Pistachio Strawberry Milk, made with Lactaid. The drink tasted like a milkshake and the boba was sweet with a nice texture. The boba has the right characteristics: sweet, but not overly so, and soft, but not mushy. The bobaristas were welcoming and the wait for the drinks was not long. I'm officially a regular at this cute teahouse.

Got the mango fantasy again to make sure the first time I went was just a fluke and it still was not good. Tasted so bland and it seems like they used mango juice. Does not compare to heytea's quality . The place itself is cute and workers are friendly but won't be coming back unfortunately.

Welcoming a new kid on the block! We're still on the search for our go-to boba in South OC. Anyone living here would know it can be a challenge! While I envy their interior decor, husband was not a fan of their milk tea flavor, but I personally feel they excel in their fruit drinks. We came through after a heavy lunch and needed a refreshment to keep us company while we went grocery shopping. We stopped in around noon to a quiet shop, but the workers gave us plenty of time to soak in the menu and ask any questions. Black Milk Tea and Boba Milk Tea are the same drink with the exception of the added topping. Hubby chose Boba Milk Tea, while I chose the Mango Fantasy. Been on a mango kick recently and I thought it was interesting to be paired with pomelo and sago. Dessert and drink in one! Hubby wasn't a fan of the milk tea flavor. It had a weird aftertaste, but the boba did have a good texture. My mango was pretty tasty and I felt they were pretty generous with the toppings that you wouldn't need anything additional. There was quite a lot of grapefruit pulp and sago bits. If I'm in the mood for something fruity and in the general area, I'll likely return to try something new.

Not all boba are equal! Feng Cha is one of my favorite teahouses and their boba is amazing. My husband who used to not care for boba much is now also hooked after trying a few sips of my drink. Ha ha The boba here has the perfect chew until the last bite. I stop by this Feng Cha at least once a week for their boba. Excellent service, as always.

Decided to go here since the Omomo wasn't open. We got the crème brûlée milk tea and that tasted like sweet milk. I got the sparkling watermelon drink with 70% but it was still super sweet! They are still new, so they did take a while to make the drinks. The owner even took photos of our drinks lol. Interior is nice to study or do work!

Came to the area today to get some work done on our bikes and noticed the new Feng Cha a few doors up. Had to try it!! Cute little shop with super friendly staff. My son had a Taro Cream and I had an earl grey tea with boba - so delicious!! We'll definitely be back!

Yuuuuuuummmmm! We popped in for a nice cold refreshing summer splasher ! The summer breeze and the kiwi breeze with the delicious aloe vera jellies . Divine! It's a cute little tea Café .

Sad to say I can't see myself coming back here ever again. Ordered matcha breeze for my birthday a month ago and we ordered pickup on the app, and when I got there it wasn't even ready. Anyways for the matcha breeze, the guy made it but it wasn't done well and I had to go to a different matcha in the area to get my fix. When I got there and said my name to pickup the order, he had a bad attitude maybe he was having a bad day or something, but it's a memory I won't forget, like he was doing me a favor for making the drink I ordered. Also another thing I didn't mention in my other review, is one time I came in; and the employee was ALMOST CRYING, from the manager just like lecturing him on how to make a drink. Whenever I think of coming back here I just think of that one time and other times and then I'd rather go somewhere else

I am a big fan of Feng Cha and I was excited about this new location in Laguna Niguel. I heard about their grand opening but the line was super long for their BOGO deal. We decided to skip it the first weekend they were open and just went yesterday. First of all, no line was a plus compared to the previous week. Being a fan, I use their app for rewards and did so on this recent visit. I ordered the iced ginger milk tea ($6), which is my favorite drink here. I ask for less ice and the cashier asked me if I wanted to tweak the sweetness. I'm trying to cut back on sugar and I am always told that the ginger milk tea sweetness cannot be adjusted at the other locations (Costa Mesa, Houston, Buena Park), but apparently she said she could make it half sweet. So I took her up on that offer. Boy, did I instantly regret that choice. There's a huge reason that the ginger milk tea is not adjusted, it tastes just terrible. They use ginger sugar in it, not syrup so it has a very distinct flavor. Well the half sweet version was lacking in the ginger punch I usually enjoy. I had already left the store at that point so I finished my sad not-so-good ginger milk tea at home. Next time, I'll order it with regular sweet so I'm not disappointed.

Matcha Breeze, Coffee Milk Tea, Sea Salt Pearl cake

I recently discovered Feng Cha when I was craving a tasty treat - and they did not disappoint! So far I've had the blended Matcha and cookies and cream - both 10/10. My husband has tried a few fruit drinks and their coffee milk tea and LOVES them. I recently also tried their cute little cakes and they were so delicious ! The staff is always kind, the service is a good speed, and the music is always very chill. I love it here and have already brought a few friends along. Highly recommend !

Today is there a grand opening. There was a line out the door, which is awesome to see. Didn't get any food today, but the ambience is still awesome. Great music good interior decoration. But best of all are the employees are super awesome super welcoming and very nice. Today I got the Matcha breeze. It is a frozen drink with Matcha as the base and topped off with their cheese foam. It is a very good drink, very good subtle flavor as matcha should be and just the right amount of sweetness. I definitely recommend again!!!!!

Dirty Boba. Soft, chewy brown sugar infused boba, brown sugar syrup, oat milk (I substituted for extra $), and cheese foam on top. LOVE.

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite boba spots! THE DRINK. - Dirty Boba. Soft, chewy brown sugar infused boba, brown sugar syrup, oat milk (I substituted for extra $), and cheese foam on top. I really enjoyed this drink and highly recommend others to try it! THE RETURN. I mean, I've already been back a few times and ordered the same drink, so yeah, it's safe to say I'm a regular customer now.

I'm solidly addicted to the grapefruit pulp tea. It's the most similar thing I've found to the fresh fruit juices that are popular in Asia.

I visited Japan late last year and it was the best travel experience of my life, so to have a little slice of it here in my little town of Laguna Niguel is so special. And it's open early enough for the Finance Girls! The word that comes to mind is authentic. The barrels of beans waiting to be roasted in the front, the minimal menu, the pour-over style coffee for every cup, the chic industrious decor, super friendly service from every barista. It's hard for me to want to make coffee at home when I can have this! Worth every penny. Can't wait to gift my loved ones with bags of their freshly roasted beans. Do not sleep on Maméya!

Genuinely surprised I haven't left a review sooner. It's a small, quaint shop with a clean and mellow interior, relaxing jazz playing in the background, and aroma of freshly brewed coffee that always transports me back to Japan. Daisuke and his team greet everyone with such genuine warmth that you immediately feel welcomed. Their hospitality is unmatched, but what keeps me coming back is the consistency. Every drink is made with care, and they're always happy to take the time to explain the differences between their beans, recommend something based on your preferences, and answer any questions without ever making you feel rushed. You can tell they truly care about both their craft and their customers. I usually order the café au lait, and it's the only coffee shop where I'm confident in asking them to make it however they like. Every now and then I'll also pick up a bag of their beans to brew at home, and I highly recommend doing the same. They carefully help you choose from their wide variety, then grind the beans for you or sell them whole if you have your own grinder. Grinding fresh beans takes about 15-20 minutes, so if you're driving from farther away, I'd recommend calling ahead or placing an order through their website for pickup. The quality of the coffee speaks for itself, but what really sets this place apart is the experience. It's rare to find a coffee shop where both the product and the people are this consistently exceptional. Where most coffee shops tend to rush you out I think the difference here is that you genuinely feel welcomed. Wishing Daisuke and the entire team nothing but continued success. They deserve every bit of it. If you're looking for incredible coffee, authentic Japanese hospitality, and a place that genuinely cares about what they serve, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't regret it.

What I really loved was the multitude of sitting areas around the whole coffee shop and also a little play area for toddlers. (Kitchen play) next to the door -- so adorable! Drink 5/5 I got a small lavender latte, it tastes super flavorful, strong lavender flavor, and I asked for a little bit light sweetness (less honey). Stopped by this location after grabbing coffee at Mameya Coffee Roasters next door around 10 AM on a Saturday morning. Lots of parking in this plaza and a decent amount of seating outside (shared with some of the shops next door so they fill up). There were a few things that were not available and in the process of being baked so I didn't get to try all of the items I had my eye on but I got the red bean salt bread, kobo kuma cream bread, honey butter croissant and curry pan. All came out to around $15 which I think is comparable for the type of items in the general area. - Red bean salt bread: nice salt contrast between the salt and sweetness from the anko. The outside is crispy from the fried butter during the baking process but the interior is light and fluffy - Kobo kuma: super light and fluffy shokupan bread (was honestly shocked when I picked it up how light it was), interior is a not too sweet cream - Honey butter croissant: kind of small to be honest but I think because it's so sweet/indulgent it's the perfect small bite. Reminiscent of a kouign amann - Curry pan: usually not a fan of how the curry runs on the sweeter side for most curry pan but this one was predominantly savory with a rich curry flavor. The bun was nice and crispy but didn't feel overly oily/heavy. The café has a welcoming atmosphere and quality ingredients that really shine through in the food and drinks. Definitely a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving a good coffee or matcha run! Highly recommend checking them out if you're in the area

Overall the experience was okay, but it didn't quite blow us away. The service felt pretty rushed…read morethey didn't really greet you or say hello, just asked for your order and waited. They also didn't offer much explanation about their drinks, so if you're not sure what you want, it can feel a little rushed. Inside seating is very limited, which makes sense for the size. The highlights for us Young man offered me a sample of Kombucha: the kombucha was solid, and refreshing. Both the regular latte and the black latte were okay. The blackberry latte was better. One nice bonus is there's a great park just around the corner down the hill with beautiful views. You can grab your drink and drive over to sit and enjoy it there, which is a nice touch. But honestly, it's probably not worth making a special drive for.

Yes, Philz and Blue Bottle are a real thing. Philz in Aliso Viejo is perfect since it's near my gym and more convenient than the Costa Mesa location. Please please open a location in Irvine. I am not trying to over hype Philz but this coffee shop is my happiness in a cup. Every sip reminds me of the bay area and gives me super powers like I can program a new video game or launch a tech start up. I don't work in tech anymore but the magic is still there. My go to are the Mint Mojito and Philtered Soul lightly sweetness. I usually get the drinks cold but sometimes I like it hot like me. Philz is not your average coffee. Unlike the overpriced milk shake with a shot of coffee and a green hair logo, Philz has actually baristas that make customized coffee. By customized coffee, I don't me colors and sugary syrups. I am talking about pour over coffee that can be made hot or cold. These mystical baristas are like bartenders of coffee. I love how every barista will ask you how the drink taste and let me know if you like it. The answer is always yes, but I have had bad orders at other coffee shops and it usually not worth the hassle to make adjustments. One thing that might improve the in person experience could be the addition using a dine in coffee mug. I feel like Philz is always a take out transaction and I get it we are busy people changing the world, but having a better in person experience for people looking to just lounge would elevate the experience. I get it some people will think this place is all hype or expensive. Well that's on you. I am going to enjoy my coffee treat. I would recommend giving Philz a try if you are looking for a new coffee experience. Also, ordering drinks and food from the Philz app is super convenient.

Philz Coffee is always a good option for a solid drink! Was happy to see this location just around…read morethe corner from where I was staying in Aliso Viejo. This shop is located in the commons within the common plaza next to a boba shop and near the climbing wall. In front of the coffee shop is a very large parking lot but can be quite busy. . This coffee shop is amazing as the drinks are made to the individual person. Design to your sweetness, strength and other preference. I fancy going here for my Chai where I can get a solid non syrup made one with the proper amount of hone and cream. And for good measures a mint in thrown into the drink. If you are looking for some more unique drinks, there is also plenty to be had at this shop. This is a good location as the shop is larger than most. Good amount of seating inside and out. Plus great art work to catch your eye. Note the shop is not fast as drinks are custom made. And the shop is not cheap, as a cup of coffee can set you back by 5 dollars. What I can tell you is that you'll receive a solid drinlk
