This is by far my favourite Boba place in the 757 thus far! Earl and Cherry are the kindest owners and personally came up and introduced themselves to my gf and I. We had a long conversation about how the shop came to be and how they came up with the idea. And through their words you can truly hear the love they have for this place, and I want this shop to thrive! The Boba is the softest Boba I've ever had and the drinks themselves have me coming back again and again. The price is such a good value for the size you get. Overall 10/10 would recommend. My favorite place to get boba in VB! Thoroughly enjoy not having the bloated/full feeling after my drink. Also, I enjoy the size of the menu. It is not too much where I feel overwhelmed. The cold brew coffee is my favorite -- very happy they have they have coffee! The boba is cooked and sweetened perfectly! There is nice chew but it isn't sticky. The boba place is average compared to all the boba places I've been and I've been to A LOT. The boba tea taste really artificial and not like normal "authentic " boba. I'm not a boba snob but I really dislike the taste Kung fu tea and gong cha are much better. The employees were friendly. There is a limited amount of choices for boba tea and toppings unlike KFT and gong cha. I got nothing more to add because it's really not a lot. I don't see what my friends were raving about. If it's close to your area it's a good place to try out and when I'm near by I might stop in but compared to all the shops the best ones are clear this is just not that great it's average. Or I just didn't pick the right tea for me. The place uses lactose free milk so maybe that's why I don't like it. this is my first time coming to a boba place in the VB area. When I walked in I noticed the beautiful interior design, it has a homely feel. I looked at the menu and there is a drink for everyone even though there isn't much to choose from. I got a Mango and Pina Colada with lychee and pop boba toppings. The prices are amazing you get a lot for what you pay compared to other places. Also the staff is very friendly overall I rate 9/10 would go again read more

just visited for the first time! I noticed that they use fresh fruit for their products. They were out of mango, so I wasn't able to try the mango slush, but from my friends, it's highly recommended. I ordered a Thai tea, and I got a decent serving for the price. The bubbles are pretty good too. Nice environment and establishment. Staff are super friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. My first time trying Boba Chef and honestly is one of my favorite boba spots so far having been to Tapioca Go, Kung Fu Tea, Boba Bola, Jelly Ball, and Yo Mama. I do live in Virginia Beach so places like Tapioca Go are little out of my way, and I don't always have the extra money to spend on Kung Fu Tea. And while each spot has its own perks and faults Boba Chef in my opinion (and experience) had the best prices for quality drinks. You definitely won't have to worry about spending over $6.00 for a large drink. It's a very relaxing spot with a very nice staff who is always welcoming of feedback. I was really excited to see a new boba tea shop in the neighborhood. My excitement was short lived when I finally had the chance to try it out. It's in a good location with plenty of parking and nice staff. However, they don't have any flavored tea, just plain greens and blacks. I ordered the green tea with lychee jelly. It was the blandest tea I've ever had. I gave them a second chance with the taro tea with tapioca. It was better, but only slightly, honestly it was watered down. Kung Fu tea has let me down a few times....I would've never cheated on them otherwise....but what's done is done...This place boasts more natural flavors and strays from the instant powder flavors of kung fu tea ( which I still enjoy/partake in BUT they run out of Boba entirely too much for me). Boba Chef's boba actually allows you to taste the milk and adjust the sweetness/flavors to your own pallet a bit more which I can appreciate, they aren't stingy on the boba either which is always a plus in my book. This location seems to be family owned, everyone's super nice and always suggesting new drink specials to try, one of the owners I believe takes a lot of pride in his business which is nice to see. I once got a drink that I thought was okay but he jumped at making another himself to make sure it was perfect, I really appreciated it, not only was it a sweet gesture but it shows that they care. read more
