Cute little shop, drinks are made fast & soo good, nice, clean & quiet, many people on laptops with headphones doing work, we played chess, would come back, all 4 drinks were good!

Wow! First time trying this place and it was delish! I was craving a boba and popcorn chicken. The two gals working that day were super helpful and patient as I asked my questions before ordering! I ordered two popcorn chicken and two bobas to go. When we ate the chicken at home, we paired it with rice. TBH, one al a carte popcorn chicken would've been good for two if eaten with rice at home. The popcorn chicken wasn't as tasty as others I've had before - I was thinking it'd be more like Taiwanese style. It was crunchy and there is some mild seasoning. For drinks, we got milk tea with boba and taro smoothie with boba. The milk tea wasn't super flavorful. On the contrary, the taro was a little too sweet. But at least the boba was nice and chewy! Would come back and try other things. Nice to have more boba spots in the area!

I got a slushy. The Boba was good and flavor was good, but I didn't get a lot of it because half of it was big chunks of ice.

Signature milk tea with boba and passionfruit green tea with jelly - April 2026

Greeted upon arrival midday and staff were very friendly. Ordered two drinks and the store was clean with indoor and outdoor seating (wasn't too busy). I got the signature milk tea with boba and a passionfruit green tea both 50% sweet and felt they adjusted it correctly. Music playlist inside was great while we waited, parking in the lot was easy. Prices were fair, would come back thanks!

Nestled in the back corner of Mission Gorge is this little gem. Good pricing. Tasty Drinks and treats. Service was good but my gf who does not drink caffeine was asking about the menu and they assured her that her drink didn't have caffeine and that the menu print must be wrong. When we went home we double checked and it sure did have caffeine. We should have checked that but we were trusting of the workers. But that doesn't take away from the good service they still provided and the drinks again were made great! Just miss communication. Place is very clean and well lit once inside. We will be back!

I have been looking for somewhere that sells spicy popcorn chicken as my go-to place raised the prices and reduced the portion. So, I decided to come over and try the popcorn chicken. Since my son was with me and didn't want chicken I ordered him an Oreo bubble waffle. First of all, the employees seemed very nice. I had no issues ordering. The store was very clean. They told me it would be a 20 minute wait for the waffle since the machine needed to heat up, I told them that was not an issue and we would wait. After about 25 minutes, they bagged my orders of popcorn chicken and the waffle and tied the bag close. I walked out to my car and decided to open the bag to get my son his waffle. Well, this thing was beyond burnt. It was charred completely. I tasted one piece to make sure it wasn't just oreo giving off that color and, nope, it was burnt and each piece was hard and brittle. There was nothing reminiscent of a soft bubbly waffle. I took it back in and told the girl this was beyond burnt and she told me "yeah the machine was really smoking and it burnt it". I told her how come you just put it in a bag hoping I wouldn't notice, that is not okay. She offered me a cash refund for the amount, but did not give me the amount of the tax back. I asked again why they thought that was okay to serve that to me and not tell me and she just said sorry. I really wanted to like this place and the chicken is decent, but wow, I am surprised at the terrible service and lack of care.

Tiny little boba shop tucked away near the Walgreens and glasses place. It's cute with only a few tables. Prices are moderate, service was moderate. Rose milk tea with boba was not too sweet. But our greatest takeaway was the crispy tofu and rice. The tofu by itself had a lot of seasoning and was almost a little too salty, so I'm glad we got it with rice. Price was about $10 but the portion was fitting - lots of tofu pieces. Wish we ate it there so it was for sure crispy but we took it home - still good though!

Really delicious strawberry milk tea boba from Boba Joy! After driving past this place so many times, i'm glad i finally gave it a try. Their menu is extensive and they also have dairy free alternatives (the soy milk is great!) The place was quiet on a Friday night so I got my drink quickly. The boba was cooked to perfection, however the drink itself was REALLY sweet. If possible, I'd do half sweet or even 25% next time.

I was in the area and I always look out for any new Boba shops to try out. This place was tucked in the corner of a small parking lot. Place was cute on the inside, the staff was very friendly and attentive. I got 3 drinks: Thai Tea with Boba, Passion fruit-Green tea with grass jelly, Strawberry lychee tea (oolong) with grass jelly. I was surprised to find out they make their own grass jelly. 1. Thai Tea: standard typical flavor, I was not sure if this was freshly brewed or not. The boba were pretty good, seemed bouncy and chewy. I commonly get this drink so I have had it at a lot of other places. 3/5 2. Passion Fruit Green tea: 3.8/5 My sister said it tasted pretty standard so that was good, but the grass jelly was honestly like maybe one tablespoon so they didn't seem to get a good sense of how good or bad it was, kudos for a place to make their own, but they definitely don't give hardly any. 3. Strawberry Lychee tea- My niece did not care for the Oolong tea in this drink. It is not that common to see Oolong tea so that is why we chose it but not a good mix. They noted the same thing about the grass jelly, hardly any given. 3/5 They did have other treats there. Hot food like popcorn chicken as well as Tofu, etc. I was in a rush so I didn't have time to try these small eats. I will say it took a little longer for the drinks to be made, but at least I feel like they were serious about making the drinks correctly. Service: 5/5 Food: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5

We came in today to Boba Joy, and as a first time customer Lauren was very patient with myself and my 7 year old who knew she wanted to have Boba but only had it with her older sister who loves it. Lauren made our birthday trip a success with her positive attitude and great vibe. The atmosphere was amazing!

This drink is really delicious and sweet is which is what I like and strawberry flavored. Can't imagine having this now. I'm gonna go back a lot for this drink very friendly and customer oriented. The ambience was nice. Light lighting was really good and easy to read the menu. Very friendly staff. Now I'm back again.

We came in on what they refer to as National Boba Day and advertised it on their Instagram account. They were promoting a BOGO free boba drink. However, it's not referenced anywhere that we would need to mention the promo. Pretty disappointed. We've frequented this business in the past and had no issues with them, but we won't be patronizing them again.

I was really disappointed when I got my drink because there was absolutely no tea flavor, just a big cup of sweet milk (see photo). I ended up ordering another drink because I didn't come here to drink a glass of milk, but the woman at the counter wouldn't let me swap the drink out at no charge. She wasn't rude, but she also wasn't particularly empathetic or apologetic about the situation. I had to pay for an entirely new drink, which also wasn't made at the 25% sugar level I had originally requested. I ended up throwing the milk drink away. :( That said, the new drink brown sugar Pearl milk tea was much closer to what I wanted, and the boba pearls had a great texture and came in a good portion. I just wish the first drink had been explained better and that there had been some willingness to replace it, since I definitely wasn't expecting to receive an entire cup of milk instead of a milk tea. The ambiance of the place is cute.

The plaza can get busy depending on the time of day, so parking might take a minute, but it's usually manageable. When we walked in, we were greeted right away. I ordered the Kung Fu Green Milk Tea with boba at 75% sweetness and my partner ordered the Oreo slush. The staff were friendly and the transaction was smooth. They also offer a rewards system linked to your phone number, which is always nice if you come often. Seating here is interesting. There are traditional tables and chairs, but they also have an elevated floor seating area with cushions. It's a pretty large space and I'm curious to see it when the store is busy because it's a unique setup for a boba shop. There is also games provided if you are looking to hang out here with some friends. They also provide free Wi-FI. The real standout here is the boba. It's never mushy or bland. It has that perfect bounce and a rich honey flavor that makes it different from other places. I've heard they produce their own boba, which might explain the consistency. The boba itself is sweet, I recommend lowering your sugar level if you don't like overly sweet drinks. The green milk tea was creamy with clear green tea notes that came through without being overpowering. The Oreo slush was exactly what you'd expect, a classic cookies and cream flavor that was smooth and sweet. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Compared to the name of the spot, the interior felt like it belonged to a night time sushi spot. I'm not sure if they are allowed to repaint the interior, but changing the black/dark blue walls to something more bright would open up the space a little more-- it is a small place, but felt even smaller with the design choice. The menu was organized, but it seems like they were out of a few items in the morning as they didn't have mini pearls--only regular. And for some reason, you couldn't change the sweetness level on the drink...or maybe it just related to the drink I chose? Not sure, it was my first time there. The worker was nice & patient. Although for not having many people in the shop, I hope they could take the time to perfect their boba. It was VERY clumpy and not good-- texturally and taste wise. It didn't have that rich brown sugar taste and it was very gooey and chewy (not in a good way). They did give a good amount of boba, but I feel most people would toss it out because of the bad quality. Which would be a waste of money. To drink, I chose the Hokkaido Milk Tea with Pearls. I wanted to do 50 or 75% sweet but I guess since this is a caramel noted milk tea, it isn't possible. I think the tea was ok. I would order something else next time. My friend had the Okinawa Milk Tea with Pearls, I'm unsure if they asked for a certain sweetness level or not. They said the tea was good, but the pearls weren't good. Something to note, I charged the drinks on my card and rather than saying Sayaka Tea, it said Sharetea...interesting. I wonder if they rebranded themselves or ?? Each drinks were around ~$7-8 ish! I'll give them another try, I hope the boba will be better the next time around and I'll be allowed to change the sweetness. If not, I'll be heading a little further down the street as this tea spot may not be for me!

Well... came to lunch with one of my sons, and let me just say, I wanted to like this place more…read morethan I actually did. The staff was friendly, especially Amy and Jennifer, and I have to give Amy credit because she was very patient and helpful in explaining the menu and portion sizes. But unfortunately, once the food, drinks, pricing, and portions all came together, this turned into a "thank you, but I won't be back" kind of experience. The place is in a place center and a small establishment better for Togo order but has small seating available inside. The menu itself seemed pretty standard, but I quickly learned that their portion sizes and prices are different from what I'm accustomed to. I was told the combo portions were more like child-sized meals, so I decided to order two large Orange Chicken entrées with steamed rice. We also ordered two chicken eggrolls and two Thai teas with boba. The total? $53.87 for two people. Now Auntie is going to need you to explain that math! Especially because the prices for the drinks and boba weren't clearly displayed. I actually had to have Miss Amy go over the bill with me because I was trying to figure out how we got to nearly $54. THEN I discovered there was a 3.99% credit-card surcharge that I wasn't aware of. Had I known, I absolutely would have brought cash. So, memo to anybody going: bring your cash! The Thai tea was another hard pass for me. At $8.65 EACH, I expect a Thai tea to be GOOD good. And as somebody who loves Thai tea, I know what I'm looking for. Unfortunately, this tasted more like a powdered mix, was way too heavy on the milk, and didn't have enough of that actual Thai tea flavor. The boba looked and tasted overcooked too as it was mushy. At that price, "I just couldn't justify it." The Orange Chicken was fresh and appeared to be made to order, so I'll give them that. But the breading was harder than I prefer, and the sauce didn't taste like traditional Orange Chicken to me. It was much sweeter and tasted more like a sweet-and-sour sauce with a twist. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't what I was expecting. My bigger issue was the portion of chicken. Once it came out on the plate, I remember thinking, "Ohhh... this is the large?" The rice portion looked normal, but the amount of chicken left me wanting more--especially considering the price. Now let's talk about these "chicken eggrolls." Chile... They came out looking EXACTLY like vegetable spring rolls. I actually asked Amy before eating them, "These are chicken eggrolls, right?" because I noticed the wrapper looked different from the eggrolls I'm accustomed to. She assured me they were. So I took a bite, opened it up, and... WHERE'S THE CHICKEN?! There was nothing but vegetables inside. And I wasn't the only one who noticed. Another customer walked in while I was sitting near the ordering counter, looked over at them and said, "Those definitely look like spring rolls." Ma'am, THANK YOU! I brought it to Amy's attention, and she went to speak with the staff. A little while later, she came back with a small saucer of cooked chicken and explained that she wanted to make things right as they were hand made and sometimes they forgot to put the chicken in the rolls. I genuinely believe she was trying to do something nice, and I appreciate that she addressed the issue rather than ignoring it. BUT Auntie is going to be honest: that wasn't really the fix I was hoping for. I had taken ONE bite. The better solution would have been to remake the eggrolls correctly. I ordered chicken eggrolls--not vegetable spring rolls with a side of chicken. Bringing me a little plate of cooked chicken after the fact just made the situation feel even more awkward. At the end of the day, I don't think anyone was intentionally trying to give me a bad experience. The staff was pleasant, Amy was kind, and the food was fresh. But good customer service can only go so far when the value isn't matching the price. Nearly $54 for lunch for two is not an inexpensive lunch, and for that amount I expected better portions, better drinks, clearer pricing, and--most importantly--to actually receive what I ordered. So unfortunately, Auntie will not be returning. ‍ I truly wish them well, but when I spend almost $54 on lunch for two, I shouldn't leave feeling like I had to investigate the bill, question the portions, question the drinks, AND investigate where the chicken went in my chicken eggrolls. For me, this was a one-and-done.

The space is cute, clean, and has a lot of potential. The menu is honestly one of the strongest parts. They have milk teas, cheese teas, Vietnamese coffee, fruit teas, smoothies, blended drinks, hot lattes, and even mochi donuts. There are so many options that it's easy to find something that sounds good. Ordering is done through a kiosk, so customer interaction is pretty minimal. You place your order, wait for your name to be called, and pick up your drinks from the counter. This visit, I ordered the Chizu Taro Milk Tea with boba at half sweetness. We also got the Taro Cream Vietnamese Coffee. The Vietnamese coffee was actually pretty good. It had that strong coffee flavor you'd expect, and the taro cream added a nice sweetness without completely covering up the coffee. The Chizu Taro Milk Tea, unfortunately, was not it. I understand that lowering the sweetness can sometimes affect the flavor, but this tasted more like lightly flavored milk than taro. It felt watered down and didn't really have the rich taro flavor I was hoping for. The biggest disappointment was the boba. As someone who used to work at a boba shop, the texture immediately stood out to me. Instead of being chewy, it was mushy. It reminded me of boba that's been sitting in syrup for too long and has started to lose its texture. It also wasn't particularly sweet, so it didn't really add much to the drink.
