This place is SO underrated. When you first walk into the shop the tea aroma hits you right away. Their drinks remind me a bit like Orobae with the roasted/nutty flavors. If you're looking for something more subtle I would recommend the Genmai Green Milk Tea, while the Pistachio Mist has a stronger tea flavor. My favorite of theirs is the TGY Special which includes the tapioca jelly that is trending right now, similar to the Torotea jellies. They also always have samples by the register and last time I sampled their Grapefruit Bloom and it was also very good and you could really taste the tea! The store is relatively small, and does have some seating but is very limited. I highly recommend trying out and supporting this small business. Mosa Tea is such a cute and aesthetically pleasing spot to grab boba! The space is really nice, and everyone there was super friendly and welcoming. I absolutely love their Tie Guan Yin Oolong with the Tie Guan Yin jelly. The roasted buckwheat barley tea is also so so good, really flavorful and unique. I was honestly raving about Mosa after trying it, so we came back the next day because we liked it so much and wanted to get a drink for my mom too. Her favorite tea is Four Seasons, so I was excited for her to try it. Unfortunately, the Four Seasons was a huge disappointment. It tasted like water and had almost no tea flavor at all, which was surprising because the other teas we tried were so good. We got the Signature Sticky Rice Flavored Oolong Au Lait and Signature Black Tea Au Lait, we both thought it was just ok. I think mine would've been better with full sweetness. The boba was a little over cooked. They did have samples on the counter so I was able to try the SSR special which I thought was wayyy better. The custard was cooked nicely and the oolong milk tea tasted better than what I ordered. I want to come back and try that with custard so if you're unsure what to get, maybe order that. I finally made it to Mosa Tea! I had the brown sugar mist. The tea came with "Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea, Osmanthus Honey, Brown Sugar Cream Foam" (Mosa Tea, 2026). The tea was pretty good. It was not what I was expecting. The flavor was good, but the brown sugar cream did not make the beverage as creamy as I wanted and it did not dilute well in the tea. Mosa tea is a good boba shop with pretty exceptional toppings and flavorful tea. I will have to say that sometimes the tea is a bit watery but there are times where it's strong (good). A pretty consistent 7-8 on my rating list for the TGY Milk Tea. Service is fast and efficient, place is nice and clean. The only thing that gets me nearly every time is the parking situation. Sharing a lot with The Godfather Restaurant (TGR) and other shops usually means there's little to no parking (especially since Godfather cones up some of the spots in the afternoon for their Valet parking). There's additional parking in the back area but those are usually occupied by TGR guests or employees so, pretty tough battle. I will say that there are a handful of times where no parking resulted in me going to other shops instead, but when there is parking, this shop is a good tea option in the area. Taiwanese tea is their focus here and the quality shows within their all their drinks. I had the chance to visit after waiting some for busy crowds to settle down after their opening. The tea store is fairly small and the parking may be limited, so I had to park over near Cafe Matcha Maiko. I tried two milk tea drinks: Taiwanese Retro Milk and Tie Guan Yin Oolong Special. If you're wanting something more tea focused, go for the Taiwanese Retro Milk, and the TGY if you are wanting more milk. I found the taste of the TGY more flavorful to me; however, I lessened the sugar for the Taiwanese Retro MT, and it had less flavor. Their boba was cooked nicely and perfectly chewy. If you're not feeling the milk teas, fruit teas and brewed teas are also offered. It's a cute but small cozy tea shop that captures what I picture a tea shop in Taiwan to look like! Inside, they have a very sleek minimalist and modern interior with a good amount of seating. For their menu, they have a solid selection of different signature, milk tea, and fruit tea drinks to choose from. Wifey ended up getting the Tie Guan Yin Oolong Tea and I got the Grapefruit Bloom. Just want to give a big shout out to the staff member named Brandon! He was beyond kind and friendly and just had such great customer service skills. Seems like a gem of a worker. In terms of what we got, my friend and I both felt like the boba were too soft and blend unfortunately. And the flavors of the teas were just alright. Another staff member was cleaning the seats with a strong chemical cleaning product and eventually it was too strong of a smell that my friend and I just wanted to leave without actually finishing our drinks. I really liked the vibe there so I was definitely hoping I would like it and want to return. Right when I entered, I was offered a sample of the Tie Guan Yin Special which comes with Tie Guan Yin oolong milk tea and brown sugar hún-kué (tapioca jelly). I really love the texture of the tapioca jelly, which was very similar to grass jelly. The service was very friendly, and she chatted with me as I was paying. My drink was finished almost right after I paid. I enjoyed my drink inside the cafe to experience the ambiance. Since I came mid day on a weekday, it wasn't very crowded.
