Came in and right away you can smell the sweetness, you can bropaboy catch diabetes is you sit in here for long periods of time lol. Jk The place is cool and decorated with 33 cats arranged throughout the store. The crew works hard and pushing drinks out as fast as they can. There are displays that tell you when your drinks are ready but aren't truly accurate. My drink was to take 28 minutes which stressed me out but actually came out in 16! The drink was delicious and very sweet. No complaints here. I downed it before I made it to the Pink Curebound Concert. I wouldn't hesitate to drop in here again. Be back soon. read more

I ordered a milk tea and one of their speciality drink. It is unbearable there. There was no lines, I needed to ask for a straw, they gave me a tiny straw that barely can suck any drinks up. It's ridiculous, there was 3 girls and 1 guy working all of them ignored me. Never came to the counter to ask if I needed something. Half of them look clueless when I asked for a straw. Most I'd assume is foreign staff. One of my drink I asked for no ice and tell me why the drink have no ice but it's less than what I am supposed to get. Like literally a rip off. You would be getting a regular hot cup if you asked for no ice. My other drink, one of their specialty was throw out because it was sitting in their hot store. No AC no park no nothing everything is sat out in the rack. I dont know if this is even possible some need to send a request for the health inspector to evaluate milk being sit out and OSHA need to check their store, this is literally a sweat shop, not a good environment for people to wait or staff working under no air what so ever. The wait. Unbearably long in the evenings on weekends. Order in advance for pick up. But then your drink might be watered down. Space inside is cute but not very clean.. most of the workers are scrambling to try and make the drinks... floors are gross and sticky... and i couldn't help be be appalled at the unsanitary countertop of drinks laid out to try and unsuccessfully expedite the process.. at least 30 cups laid out but hardly any movement on those cups for over half an hour. What's the hype about this place? Try it once, but you'll probably leave either unimpressed or irritated with the lack of efficiency, cleanliness, and overall quality. The parking lot was completely full with other vendors basically fighting for space, so we decided to order online and pick up instead. 3CAT Handcrafted Beverage offers a wide variety of drinks, especially their specialty milk teas, fruit teas, and layered drinks with toppings like panna cotta, mochi, and cheese foam. Pro tip: just park on the street if you can, it'll save you a headache. We waited in the car for a bit before heading inside, and immediately it felt warm and uncomfortable. Even after 15 minutes past ordering, our drinks still weren't ready. There are two screens showing order status, one for in-person and one for online orders, and you order through kiosks. There is seating, but it's limited and honestly not worth it. We managed to grab a spot, but the bench was filthy... hair, dust, and even a live bug. We got up immediately. We waited another 15 minutes before getting a text saying our order was ready. When we went to the counter, they couldn't find one of our drinks. It genuinely felt like question marks were forming above her head like a cartoon. The pickup area was super disorganized, and it turned out the text was sent too early and our second drink hadn't even been made yet. They took our first drink back and told us to wait again. But, I return to 3CAT because they have the BEST tasting handcrafted beverages in my honest opinion. First, they use Straus milk in their beverages. It's high quality and I can taste it in all their milk drinks. The toppings are unique and delicious, so can't find a mochi topping or barley popping boba anywhere else! The first few times I've gone to 3CAT were weekday evenings and weekend nights. Those are the worst times to visit, and at one point my drink took over an hour to make. For one drink. Sunday afternoons are still a bit of a wait but not as bad the night time, after peak dinner hours. What made my drink order more efficient was using Snack Pass, as I've been told by others they give you an estimate of when the order will be done so you can time it right. My order was ready by the time I came in! The mochi drinks take the longest to make but are my favorites on the menu! Wow this place is PACKED on a Friday night. We ordered online and came a few minutes before the estimated time, but it took 4-5 mins longer than the estimate. There were like ~30 people standing around inside and outside the boba shop all waiting for their drinks. Luckily there is a monitor with all the order numbers and the estimated time remaining (and you get a text message when your order is ready), so the process seems well-mannered and streamlined. Both order kiosks were out of order though, so online order via phone seems like the easiest option. Both the Jasmine Milk Tea and the Golden Amber Milk Tea (a type of oolong) were tasty and had nice tea flavor. The Golden Amber Oolong doesn't have as strong as a roasted flavor compared to other types of oolong, but a lighter, rounder flavor. I appreciate how the milk teas are made with actual fresh milk (Straus organic milk), and not milk powder. The prices are reasonable as well for using fresh milk (usually boba places charge more for fresh milk). They were already sold out of the brown sugar boba when we ordered, so we tried the agar boba (more like a transparent tiny jelly, not entirely round and smaller than regular boba.) Also tried the Avomango Sweet Dew and it was tasty as well. A smoothie texture with a nice subtle mango and coconut flavor. Next time we might try the Mango Sweet Dew or Mochi Mango which look like the most popular drinks (based on how many cups of mango there were on the counter!) I found that because of the limited parking and the fact that this area does get busy pretty fast, since there's a lot of reserved parking for the liquor store nearby, I always just do the online order. jade matcha is pretty good, the matcha foam is strong, but when you mix it, the drink is okay. i think the matcha could be a little stronger, but overall, prob one of the better matcha drinks you can find in san diego. i got the coconut matcha as well and it is okay, but the matcha is kinda weak. prefer jade matcha to the coconut matcha though yummy rating: 8/10 read more

I think this might one of my fav boba places now! We got the mochi matcha and mango sweet dew, both with boba and regular sugar. They were both tasty and perfectly sweet! The mochi matcha was really good as it was nicely creamy and sweet and you can actually taste the matcha. The mango sweet dew was refreshing and I like that you can taste the fresh mangoes. Both drinks had lots of inclusions since we added boba and the mochi matcha comes with mochi and the mango sweet dew comes with agar boba. The boba was also good, nicely chewy and not overly sweet! Came back to try different drinks and they were both a hit! Came on a Friday evening and luckily found parking out front. It wasn't too busy inside, we easily ordered on the kiosk and waited about 5 minutes for our drinks. We got the mochi matcha and mango sweet dew, both with regular sugar and boba. The mochi matcha might be one of my favorite drinks! It was creamy, perfectly sweet, and I could taste the quantity of the matcha. The mochi and boba added some nice texture to the drink. The mango sweet dew was refreshing and had pieces of pomelo inside. The boba itself is also a highlight, soft and chewy and not overly sweet like other places.
