L-R: (prices prior to tax) Mango Black Tea, $5.50. Lychee Black Tea, $5.50. Classic Milk Tea, $5.50
    Vic C.

Boba Man is located diagonally across the street from Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. Boba Man is right next door to Kickflip Skate Company and has a parking lot that is shared with a few business on the same street and there is also some street parking available. My husband and I came by this tea house this evening, around 6:45 pm. We ended up ordering: Mango Black Tea, $5.50 prior to tax Lychee Black Tea, $5.50 prior to tax Classic Milk Tea, $5.50 prior to tax Chicken Dumpling, $10 prior to tax ---------------------------------------- (Total= $33.23 after tax) Overall, the drinks we ordered were really sweet. We ordered them to be made with 50% sweetness level but wished we had asked for 25%. The dumpling was good though. We both liked the crispiness of the dumpling. The employee working behind the counter was friendly and she moved pretty quickly to make the drink orders that were ahead of our order and then ours. Wait time really was pretty reasonable. To be honest, I am not usually in Glendora, let alone in this part of Glendora. So I probably would not frequent this place again anytime soon. But if I do come back, I would probably request for my drink to either be made with 25% sweetness or no added sweetness (as I suspect that would still be on the sweeter side for me).

Their bobas are good, the milk tea flavor is a bit too bland for what I'm used to at Tiger Sugar. I think they add way too much ice to their tea drinks, about half of the cup was filled with ice cubes. Service is good. Ambiance is very nice and cool place to hang out with friends.

Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) and Honey Boba (additional 89 cents)

I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Honey Boba (additional 89 cents). Its ingredients taste clean and fresh. The beverage is very sweet and cold. Its boba also felt fresh despite feeling like little round marshmallows. Boba Man (Glendora) is not bad. I arrived at Boba Man (Glendora) on Saturday (around 4PM). The location's shared private parking lot is surprisingly big and simple. Unfortunately, the moment I opened its doors, I almost vomited. I held in my coughs as its musty & moist air hit me hard. As I glanced about, I see wilted and dead-looking plants on tables. I see dust and faded colors on the corners and walls. And none of the tables and chairs matched. Rather, it felt like I'd stumbled into Grandma's house when someone had forgotten to recently spruce up. Trying to not cough further, I approached the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Staff had a pleasant smile as I was helped. I ordered the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Honey Boba (additional 89 cents). The drink took two minutes and two seconds. Very fast! As mentioned, I enjoyed my drink. The drink lacks any distinct tea flavor. However, it contains clean, fresh milk & strong, sweet syrup. I appreciate the drink's quality despite its simplicity. Surprisingly, the boba pears are more distinct. These boba pearls came in different sizes. It felt like a mishmash of tiny and big pearls. I enjoyed their gentle sweetness; however, these pearls are not perky nor bouncy. Instead, they felt like firm mini marshmallows. They cheerfully vanished with each bite. If Boba Man (Glendora) offered a mini boba option, I can see them succeeding. It would ruin Boba Man's love life, but mini boba are popular and attractive to certain boba fanatics. Concerning ambiance, Boba Man (Glendora) is not good. First impressions are everything, and my first impression was to run away. Thankfully, staff's air ventilation started to activate after I'd arrived. So 15 minutes later, it finally felt like I was able to breathe. On second look, Boba Man (Glendora) has potential. The location has customer wifi and password written on a board. Each table is also near an electric socket to charge devices. There's even a gender neutral restroom in the back. Later, the flat screen TV started to play youtube music which was soothing. I enjoyed the soft tones of its guitar. Most attractive is the Infinity Game Table that customers can play for free. These are all nice perks, but Boba Man (Glendora) is very reminiscent of a messy house with too many knickknacks and dying/wilted plants. There's a somber sadness in the background. Still, as previously stated, Boba Man (Glendora) is not bad. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my drink. In the end, I appreciated the experience. Also, I noticed locals still popping in to support this small, hidden business. Boba Man (Glendora) has heart. 4.5 out of 5

I want to know how I never managed to write a review for Boba Man in the past? Me and the kids visited recently and were met (yet again) with unmatched service and attention! We unknowingly arrived at closing time, seeing this we walked back to the cafe . Instead we were welcomed / encouraged to come in by the young lady who was closing. She took our orders, made our drinks, and invited us to stay and enjoy for a little while, whereas I expected to leave as soon as we received our drinks. As before the ambience is warm and inviting - almost like visiting a friend's house. And - the cool fish tank is a bonus!!

My boy and I are enjoying our BOBA! Delicious!

5 star review ALERT! Have you tried Boba Man? We stopped in for a quick milk tea Boba. The shop.owner is Mike and we chatted a little while. I love meeting establishment owners and them taking the time to visit eith customers...for this reason alone...I'd love to support his business. Its easy to park and run in. I love the Boba cups! Great logo, comfy shop to hang out a bit. Lots of offerings....but most of all an amazing milk tea Boba. Try them if you haven't. Look for the big bear on the front!

Walking in the ambiance was warm and chill. I ordered a large Taro slush w/Boba and popcorn chicken. The cashier was nice and answered all my questions politely. The large was an actually large size and the food was great! I will be back!

My first time getting boba from this establishment. I have to say this is the freshest warm boba I have ever had. I definitely will be back.

The boba here is okay. The Thai tea is very sweet--almost too much for my taste. I do like the boba itself; it's nice and chewy, but it doesn't have that brown sugar flavor I usually look for. Also, it's on the pricier side. Overall, not bad, but not my go-to spot either.

First of all, the service and atmosphere is fine. Cool digital table board with games and all. However, the popcorn chicken that I ordered was very disappointing. Just look at the pale color of it. It has zero crunch and no "popcorn" coating or texture. Also it has some black pieces of burnt foods from previous frying and tastes like old grease.

First time here & definitely coming back! Best boba I have had in a long time! The owner was super friendly & the kids had so much fun just hanging out! They didn't want to leave! The snow mountain was my favorite!

On my way back to work and spotted this place. Stopped in and was greeted by a young lady and the cutest little kiddo. I got a peach green tea with lychee jelly, and the drink was delicious. While my drink was being made, I had a conversation with the little guy, and he highly recommended the brown sugar milk tea drink (he said it was easily the best thing on the menu). Little man was so intelligent and impressive, I'd trust him to do my taxes! Give them a try if you're in the area, they have a pretty big selection of drinks and flavors.

It sure covers a lot more grounds than your typical bowls, smoothies, and juices spot. They also serve lemonades, shots, toasts, sandwiches, and bubble waffles. Get your eats and drinks in one stop shop! Cool!! Free parking is plenty. Very cozy and comfortable space with some inside seating. Clean and cool atmosphere. Menu is on the right wall immediately upon entry. Honestly, their current menu placement may not be the best place especially if they get super busy and a crowd of people is near the front entrance all looking at the menu. Just my 2 cents. Fruits and dry toppings look amazingly fresh. Prices are reasonable. Super nice young lady staff offered some drink recommendations. Thank you Miss! Drinks come in 3 sizes... small, medium, and large. Medium is perfect for me. I got The Wave smoothie and The Greens juice. Wow, there is no better way to quench my thirst than with a nice cold refreshing smoothie like The Wave. Coconut milk, mango, strawberry, pineapple, coconut sorbet, and agave all blended together makes one exceptional drink. Loved it! Will get again!! The Greens juice was different. You gotta love your spinach, kale, celery, cucumber, pineapple, and lemon in drink form. I enjoyed it, however, it would have been better if it was colder. I asked for no ice so no fault of theirs. Maybe I'll get it with easy ice next time. Highly recommend! Come get you some Beyond. I'll be back to try their bowls, bubble waffles, and more refreshing drinks.

I selected the Mango Base, Coconut Base, Blue Majik Base, Chia Pudding, Honey Oat Granola, Sliced Banana, Sliced Strawberries, Blueberries, Shredded Coconut, Shredded Toasted Coconut, and Drizzled Honey. It's a lot! My "Make Your Own Bowl" ($12 - 16oz - Medium) arrived picturesque and tasty! I arrived at Beyond Bowls (Glendora) on Tuesday (9AM - Opening Time). Parking is very easy. The parking lot is very big. Staff is professional, knowledgeable, and experienced. Staff seamlessly guided me through the process, and Staff happily answered all my questions. First, Staff receives the order and selected bases. Next, the customer pays at counter. Then, Staff leads customer to each topping section (ex: Granola Section, Fruit Section, Dry Topping Section, etc). In the end, customers can choose "for here" or "to go." Unlike other Acai Bowl locations, Beyond Bowls (Glendora) ordering process felt very smooth and well-rehearsed. I especially love how each section had a tiny sign, detailing the options. As mentioned, I enjoyed the "Make Your Own Bowl" ($12 - 16oz - Medium). It's affordable, very filling, and healthy. I especially love how the bases and chia pudding tasted fresh. These ingredients were not frozen chunks. To my immense joy, Beyond Bowls (Glendora) had chill, velvety bases. The strawberries and blueberries were plump and juicy. And the banana slices were fresh and bright. The shredded coconut and toasted coconut also added a friendly, cuddly sweetness. Each ingredient tasted fresh & delicious! "YUM!" Concerning ambiance, Beyond Bowls (Glendora) was not the cleanest despite arriving at the 9AM opening time. Even though I was the first customer of the day, a table was already sticky and covered in crumbs upon arrival. Fortunately, Beyond Bowls (Glendora) was mostly clean. The tall spacious ceilings had no cobwebs. The reflective window front entrance was not smudgy nor dirty. Also, the floors appeared relatively well-swept. This location also has no restrooms, but there's two bottles of hand sanitizer for customers. The location also felt well-ventilated and fresh. The location is small, but it still felt welcoming. I enjoyed the soft, smooth music. I also liked the dangling hanging fixtures. There's even two electrical outlets that are reasonably accessible to customers. There's about six tables. However, it was somewhat strange how the electronic menus said "Happy Easter" despite it nearing Thanksgiving. Also, the two tiny chairs hidden in the corner looked smudged and poorly kept. The front counter's base also had many faded shoe print marks and black rubs. Unfortunately, Beyond Bowls (Glendora) is showing the creeping signs of age. Overall, Beyond Bowls (Glendora) offers delicious, fresh, & healthy options. I left full & happy. If you enjoy Acai Bowls, I happily recommend. 4.8 out of 5

It is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back not just for the food, but for the overall experience. I have had the chance to try a few different things on the menu so far, including their bagels (jalapeño cheese, my fav) and juices, and everything has been consistently fresh and delicious. You can tell they put a lot of care into the quality of their ingredients, and it really shows in every bite and sip. Most recently, I tried their turkey albondigas soup, and I was honestly blown away. The broth was rich and full of flavor, perfectly seasoned without being overpowering. What really surprised me was the albondigas themselves. I could not believe they were made with turkey. They were so tender, juicy, and packed with flavor that I would have guessed a different meat entirely. It is not easy to make turkey taste that good, but they absolutely nailed it. Overall, this place has quickly become one of my favorites. Great food, amazing service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is everything you could ask for. I highly recommend giving them a try if you have not already.

They weren't rude when we interacted with them, but they also weren't particularly friendly or welcoming. We ordered two sandwiches, a grilled cheese, and a salad. It took over 30 minutes to receive our food, which felt excessive for what we ordered. All the sandwiches and the grilled cheese came on sourdough bread, but the bread tasted stale. On the positive side, the ingredients themselves seemed fresh, which I do appreciate. I ordered the Pollo Asado Southwestern Chicken Sandwich, which sounded great on the menu, but it ended up being disappointing--the chicken was dry and lacked flavor. My wife ordered the chicken salad, and the portion of chicken was surprisingly small. It was served on the side in what looked like a small salsa container, and the dressing itself was also very bland. Overall, the food just lacked seasoning. I don't mind lighter seasoning or lower sodium, but everything tasted almost flavorless. My daughters ordered slushies, and those were also underwhelming--more like lightly flavored water than what you'd expect from a slush. The one thing that stood out in a positive way was that the place was clean, and again, most of the ingredients seemed fresh. However, between the long wait time, lack of flavor, and portion issues, it wasn't the experience we were hoping for.

At the very least, Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) is extremely fast. I arrived at Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) on Friday (around 8:46AM). The location appeared relatively clean but worn down. Furniture looked old; paint is faded & chipped; and floor is scuffed with black marks. Staff is professional and quick. I ordered the Aquarius Juice ($7.95 - 16oz). It arrived in literal seconds. Staff opened a cooler and grabbed a filled glass bottle. Fast. Staff also answered all my questions. Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) has customer internet with password. It also has a hidden restroom near the back. Also, if customers return the bottle, they receive 15 cents. The Aquarius Juice ($7.95 - 16oz) contains carrot juice, red apple juice, orange juice, and pineapple juice. It's a lot of chilled liquid. I also appreciated its eye-catching bright color. Unfortunately, I personally disliked this drink. The primary flavor was bitter apple and tangy orange. It mostly tasted like the bitterness from an apple's skin. In the background, I faintly tasted the carrot and pineapple juice. There were also several specks of black floating in my drink, but I think these black bits were grounded up seeds. Surprisingly, this drink actually made me more thirsty. I guzzled a bottle of water after my visit. Despite my dislike, the drink is not bad. It's functional and healthy. It's not tasty nor the freshest, but it's a lot of liquid in a pretty bottle. Regarding ambiance, Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) feels poorly maintained. Wall colors were chipping; furniture colors look faded; and furniture felt very worn down. Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) looks old. The location also played slow rap music, lacked electric wall sockets for customers, and had a few flies buzzing around from its open door. Thankfully, the location is relatively clean. Overall, Zodiac Juiceology & Apothecary (Covina) is forgettable but inoffensive. Its juices taste frugal, but its liquid portions are generous.
