The flavors are perfectly balanced, the boba is cooked to perfection, and the quality is great. But what really sets them apart is the friendly service. The staff is always welcoming and eager to help. This spot has become my go-to for boba tea, and I couldn't recommend it more! If you're a boba tea lover like me, do yourself a favor and check out Boba tea. You won't regret it!

Let me get the negatives out of the way. The wait was pretty unacceptable; took about 25 minutes for two drinks. Granted, there were a fair amount of people there, but they need to maybe work on hiring more employees then? Next, the drinks were very thin and seemed almost watered down. My girlfriend & I each ordered a drink, standard Milk Tea & Cantaloupe Milk Tea, both with boba. Unfortunately, the thin liquid they were immersed in needed far more flavor. We both felt like we were drinking something closer to water. She couldn't even finish hers. By the time the ice melted, it really was subtly flavored water. The boba pearls were a little on the sweet side, which personally I do prefer. Pleased that they were also chewy and moist, so kudos to them for at least getting that right. Typical counter order with number system for drink pickup; the cashier was friendly and the ambiance in the little cafe seating area was welcoming enough, though I would take efficiency over friendliness for the most part. Nicely lit. Several little tables, each with a little plant. Walls decorated with huge menu murals. Informational poster on boba. Beneficial for financial reasons, I suppose, but not so much on feeling cozy! They also sell Asian snacks, as shown in their display counter. Prices are standard, but with the quality of the drinks, suddenly it becomes extremely overpriced. Good service, average ambiance, mediocre drinks? I'll buy some milk tea powder and boil my own boba instead. And if you knew how lazy I am, you would realize this is quite the insult. This is written sadly, because this place seemed promising.

Pros: lots of options, friendly service. Cons: my milk tea tasted watered down and thin. A big waste of a $6.00 drink that I did not care to finish. Very sloooow to get finished drinks out. The dining area was full of people that came way before us that we're waiting for their drinks. This place is surprisingly busy. I wish them continued success and hope they work on taste and quality of their products.

Was craving tea and this place is right next to the H‑E‑B I was headed to so I stopped in! Casual indoor area with many tables and chairs/booths. I went on a rainy day so it was empty and service was quick. I just got a peach green tea, and I liked it! Nothing mind blowing, but satisfied my craving for tea! Parking lot is pretty busy.

Decided to try this place after the Riverwalk, and ordered a couple of drinks there. Upon entering we notice TONS of a variety of drinks from slushies, milk tea, and others that haven't really tried or seen on a menu when we were in California. We decided to try our usual: Lemon black tea- Overpowering with the lemon flavor! Lemon Honey black tea- the lemon was so overpowering that the drink is sour to drink. Cookies and cream w/boba- daughter said it was alright just that the boba again was hard. Strawberry & Chocolate- daughter said it was alright Thai tea w/boba-does not taste anything like that tea but more of sugar, diluted in water so that you can only taste the boba-DISGUSTING! Boba was HARD!

Just wanted to leave a review because I'm so happy with my purchases today. I had the Taro Coconut Smoothie with Splenda + tapioca pearls and was so happy to enjoy a treat that didn't leave me feeling guilty. My boyfriend ordered the Almond Milk Tea with Splenda and it was perfect as well. The shop was so clean and vibrant! 10/10 place for me.

The best things in life are not free Like Barbie and Boba for me But whoever did think Of this weird "Crazy Drink" Should be dunked in sticky Boba Tea. Not to be confused with Bob Tea, which is owned by Bob. Or Boob Tea, which I guess is owned by Barbie. Although that would be the literal translation, wouldn't it. The service was nice at this place and the waitress in the waiter were really cool, but our drinks didn't do it for us. We got the crazy drink and it tasted like bubble gum. It's probably always bad but it was particularly bad here and it was the first ever time we tried it so we were disappointed. We also got another drink which was a strawberry black tea and it was pretty weak. It wasn't awful and between the good service and the decent strawberry black tea and the okay prices I would give this place a 4-star but next time I come back I'm trying to Vietnamese iced coffee. For sure.

Quality bubble tea at a great price! Their menu is massive including coffee beverages, smoothies, milk tea and juices. They also sell some appetizers.

7:40 pm ! If still says 20 minutes till closing plus I was here at 7:30. The cashier did nothing to accommodate me. He gave me attitude.

I came here on Sunday at 7:30 and they told me they were closed . The hours on Yelp are not updated. They close at 7:30 on Sunday. The doors were still open . As a customer I feel like they didn't accommodate me at all. That is poor business and I will never be coming here again. Also I called multiple times to ask and got no answer. I would not have drove out here if they could of saved some time by answering the phone. Poor business! Poor customer service ! Plus the cashier was so rude about it and gave me attitude.

Got the raspberry smoothie with mango jelly and it was way too sweet. The mango jelly didn't taste fresh either. My friends also agreed that their drinks were super sweet as well. I've been to a lot of different boba places and this one ranks near the bottom in terms of drinks. The overall restaurant is nice and clean though and there was plenty of seating as well as board games for you to play. Sad that their boba couldn't match.

This is definitely one of the most authentic Boba tea places in town. They have tons of different flavors and varieties of pearls and jellies. The place is very clean and the staff is friendly as well. They have an interesting selection of desserts and small Asian dishes. I haven't tried any because I really like the tea. No longer is this a go to place for boba in San Antonio!!! They run out of Soursop. Then tells us it will be available the next day. We come back and they still did not have it. And what kind of a boba place named BOBA Tea not have boba because it's too early in the am. Then don't open at 11am if you can't get it ready by 11am!!!! What a disappointment!!! read more

I've been going here since it first opened a few years ago and I haven't stopped. My favorite and recommended drink is the Almond Milk Tea w/ added coffee jelly. The flavor is sweet with a tiny hint of bitterness from the coffee jelly that evens it out. Otherwise, the menu is packed with lots of options, the prices are reasonable, the place is clean, there's WiFi, and the workers are friendly. Plus, the added bonus is that it's nice to have something like this on this side of town without having to drive miles out to get boba. I think this is decent boba and glad it's still going. read more

This is one of my favorite places to stop by after a long day of being outside and you want to try something refreshing. Boba is also a good place to hang out at while doing your homework or to have a small hang out with any friends you want to catch up with real quick. They also have random desserts and snacks to eat and if you do not mind sharing your drink with someone it's fun trying something new from here. Yes, I do certainly recommend this place to try. I would not have a Boba tea if I were already feeling cold now, but over all this place is a place to just sit down, drink boba, and settle your day down, just a little bit. read more

Their tapioca was not cooked at all-completely hardened. We kindly asked workers if they could replace the drink and they rudely argued. Extremely poor customer service will not be return. There are better locations in the area. read more

This place is simply amazing. Finally have one close by and everyday tuesday I'm coming here amazing smoothies and I'm absolutely in love with the bazel seeds over all friendly environment and supper freely staff. Also have free WiFi and everything is fresh here best smoothes I've had in such a long time. Anyway I recommend this place to all my boba loving friends five stars across the bored that's for sure. I'm a big fan of boba tea, usually order a matcha green tea with boba. The first time I came here a few months ago, they were playing the most disgusting ghetto Rap, with completely inappropriate lyrics ( and I am no Prude). I get that there are kids who work there but C'mon y'all, this is a bit much being that even little kids enjoy a boba tea now & then. I noticed, at the time that they had an Instagram account, so I left them a nice little message. No response, big surprise. The atmosphere there is very Lax, and I do not mean in a cozy kind of way. The kids who work there just look at you and go on with their (SLOW) business. I'm pretty sure I waited at least 20 min for my drink. I thought I would try them out again about a month ago. Big mistake. I was there almost 30 minutes because they were "busy" ( there were 4 customers) and they accidentally gave my drink to the wrong person. He returned the drink. So they had to re-make his and then mine. Management needs to Step up their customer service training! Drinks are meh read more

Boba was too SWEET (sugar) and had way too much cream!! It even had chucks at the bottom. Ugh. Then I asked I can have one without the cream and less sugar, but my request was refused by "owner". Talk about poor customer service. Paying 5+ wasn't worth it at all. read more

This is our favorites boba place in San Antonio. The selection is huge and always expanding, full of yummy flavors. Salted plum is a favorite of mine, even though I usually go for smoothies. My boyfriend likes the popping boba with fresh avocado. Get the punch card! read more

Being from Houston, its been hard finding good boba. I didn't have high expectations going in and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a taro coconut smoothie and it wasn't sweet like other boba places in San Antonio. The boba was great too, it wasn't too hard and was chewy. Jasmine green tea taste spoiled and sour. Asked for another replacement and got the same drink again but watered down. Julio was no help and I'm pretty sure they gave the same drink back and added water with a new lid replaced on top. Wasted 5 dollars. Had friends try the drink and all said the same. Never again. Would give 0 stars if could due to bad service. read more

I love their fresh durian smoothie. Only place in San Antonio, that I have gone to, that sells it. They have a vast selection of drinks. Slushies, smoothies, and juices are available to order. With your drink, you can select one of more than 5 different jellies. Besides traditional flavors, they also offer foreign ones like lychee, jackfruit, and soursop. read more

I'm visiting here from out of town and had to try a boba place before heading back home. With all the good ratings, I decided to try this spot. I ordered 4 drinks that I normally get at other boba spots. I walked to my car and I tried them all. The lavender black tea was BITTER. No sweetness to it. I walked back and asked if they could add sugar to it and the two girls kind of gave each other a look. Sorry that my drink tasted like crap. Then I asked if I can switch it to lavender green tea instead. One of the girls said "you would have to buy another drink". I was shocked. I just told them to put sugar in the one I had because I wasn't about to take another chance at buying another crappy tea drink. Mind you, the drink was COMPLETELY full. Not like I drank half and came back in asking for a different one. The other girl said "our lavender is strong". I've had lavender tea before and none of them tasted disgusting. Tasted it with the sugar they added and it still tasted gross. So much for good customer service. Definitely won't be back! I'll take it as a loss! Learn better customer service and how to make better teas! read more

Quick service and really delicious! I always get the house iced coffee and the husband gets almond milk tea both with boba. I wished they sold more food! And the place is so clean. I've even seen kids playing board games. It's so great to have something right around the corner that isn't a McDonald's or whataburger. read more

This place has quickly become a weekly staple of mine. While I've tried many other places their boba teas cannot compare to what this one has to offer. Not only do they have the best selection, but they're always friendly and don't mind taking down large orders. Absolute best drinks I've found so far is the peppermint milk tea, crazy milk tea, taro coconut smoothie, and the strawberry coconut smoothie. All of these are a must try. read more

It was not brightly lit, and the music was nice. We went to the counter to place our orders. They had sandwiches already made in an icebox. When ordered, the guy put them in a waffle iron before serving. I had the Cubano, and let me tell you- it was the best one I have ever had. It was so crispy and delicious. My only comment is that it could have used a bit more mustard. I also had an iced Americano with Como La Flor syrup. That was a blend of lavender and blueberry and was house-made. It sounded awesome and delivered awesomeness in every sip. I will definitely be back. I have to try the waffle pressed peanut butter and jelly!

It's a fun place even from the outside! They have coffee, beer, and wine. The barista was friendly and answered our questions. I did a nitro brew with their homemade Mexican vanilla syrup. I do not like sweet coffee and told the barista that. She said they do 1.5 oz of syrup. Which is a lot for my liking. I asked her to put .5 an oz only and it was perfect! They have events here too. Tandem is a place I would put in my rotation!

The meal is spent looking down and hoping my beloved or other guests don't see the schmear up to my nose. By the end, we are having to reconstruct our bagel, as it looks like roadkill on the table. It is not a user error, as we eat slowly and carefully. I even have friends who refuse to come back here because it was the messiest eating experience of their lives. It's so unbelievably messy. We have to rinse off in their bathroom before leaving. I have to take my rings off and put my hair up. It's a commitment, one we are not strong enough to make at this point. Delicious, but.... we must bid you farewell, Boss Bagel. Godspeed.

All the proteins were cooked perfectly. The real winner was the lemongrass Banh mi with once again perfectly proportioned ingredients. We also ordered the fresh spring roll, which never came but wasn't missed except that they did try to charge us for but did remove them. They definitely have some work to make this a comfortable dining experience but I wouldn't let it stop you from trying some phenomenal Vietnamese food.

Honestly appalled. Got a taro milk tea with boba! Worst boba place I've ever been. Their staff is horrible!!! Been twice and Both times met a different cashier that still left a bad taste in my mouth! Not to mention the bad tasting boba!! They didnt cook it properly. The girl with the glasses and broken nails, needs to fix that attitude!! She LAUGHED AT MY SON WHO IS SPECIALLY EDUCATED. Knowing this establishment hires on horrible staff makes me not want to visit again! oh and you should fire the short boy with the black hair. I love this Boba shop! The drinks are always fresh and flavorful -- you can really taste the tea instead of just sugar. The tapioca pearls are perfectly chewy every time, and the staff are super friendly and quick, even when it's busy.
