Something about ordering here attracted my partner and I told him when we go to another location my mom enjoys the orange chicken so I was willing to give them a try. We just kind of got some items to share and unfortunately the bananas were out, but the cheesecake was pretty good. The food itself isn't anything special, tastes like the cheaper stuff you get from the grocery store, but hey, you don't have to heat it up yourself. The cone of chicken wasn't done right and not as pictured. They just put the cheese in the bottom and chicken on top so you can't really just eat it out of the cone. You have to get the loose chicken out so you can then dunk it in cheese. If they topped it right this would've been kind of cool but since they don't it's really kind of a disaster and not meant for eating without a plate and fork (defeats it being in a cone). The real problem is that they're not great with delivery. I know how fast these kinds of foods are to make so I know it doesn't take 45 minutes to hand over our food to the delivery driver (I also know how busy). I had to increase the tip for the poor person who clearly just sat and waited while they continued to take new orders and prioritize them. Get with the times people! Take away/delivery is your future so just make the orders in the actual order they come in and there won't be a problem. If someone steps up to order they can wait a few minutes for the order in front of them, just like they would if I had gone myself. Needless to say I won't ever give them my business again here. If your food isn't great and your service is terrible you don't deserve my money. read more

Stopped by for a blended taro boba to go with lunch and the line moved quickly and the staff was friendly. It took around 5 minutes for the order to be ready but I was entertained by the woman placing her order while I waited ... real milk? How fattening is it? Can you use half sugar? Any other options? ... maybe you don't really want one? Anyway, the drink was refreshing and the honey boba was soft and chewy. By the time I got to the end of my drink the boba had hardened (weird) and was less appetizing. There were a lot of boba overall. BobaBlastic is the epitome of painfully average. You get boba here because, well, it's your only boba option at a great foodcart pod. No other reason, really. For upwards of $5, you'd expect a great cup od boba. From my experience with a jasmine milk tea and whatever fruit tea my girlfriend got, the flavors were just... Ehhh. It's clear that the teas aren't high quality. The boba itself is decent, but a little overcooked. It looks like they have some interesting food options, but I haven't tried those out. I'm asking for help and if they are open. Walked around the cart and noticed him at the pick up window. He stares at me and we have an awkward moment and I ask" can I order ?" He than walks to the order section without telling me? Like dude wtf ? I wait for my food and two other people are waiting and staring at the window and asking if they are open. This boba shop is right in our area, so I'd say we've been here 15 times at least. The tea and boba/jelly selection has always been great, and the taste very good! Staff, however, have been friendly to downright rude. Luckily, when we went in tonight, there was a very nice gentleman who was working very hard! One thing I've noticed is that this shop needs to staff more people - quite often, there is only one person working. This causes customers to wait quite a while to order, and then have to wait again for their order. I was looking for a boba fix while in Portland. My friend and I found this gem and it was the closest comparison to Southern California boba! I am from Los Angeles, CA so I have had lots of boba before and wanted to see what I could find up here. I got hot Rose Milk Tea at 50% with boba (pearls). 7-23-17. This was by far the worst bubble tea I've ever had, and I've been drinking them for 20years. I ordered an almond milk tea. It tasted like 3 parts syrup and 2 parts almond extract. OVERLY Sweet. I had to go home, add some milk, and steep some tea to make it drinkable. I know we are in Portland and I'm not expecting LA, Vancouver, or even Seattle quality bubble tea. I do expect something decent. I put the date that I visited so that if you are the owner you can teach your employees quality control and consistency. BobaBlastic is VERY VERY hit or miss. We've ordered from this cart a few times and it's either extremely well blended and delicious or it's still a frozen rock. The service here is pretty hit or miss too. We've been greeted by friendly workers and workers that clearly wanted nothing to do with us. The cart is also not always properly staffed.
