Our travel nurse Stacey bought everyone in the ICU unit boba. So, we tried krak boba because the name was too funny. My coworkers got princess boba, creme brulee, milk tea and I got the dragon slayer boba which had dragon fruit. To be honest, it was ok. Wasn't a big fan. My drink was too sweet and my co workers boba either had no taste or they just didn't like it. I remember the following day, we all made fun of this. I said to Stacey; hey do you want another krak? Loved all the drinks I got from here! I go to the Santa Ana location pretty often so I'm pretty familiar with a good amount of the drinks. Since it was their soft opening, there was a deal to buy 2 drinks and get 1 free. However, it didn't mention on the sign that it was buy 2 drinks get 1 Thai Tea free (not just any other drink). So I ended up getting 3 drinks and 1 free Thai Tea. I didn't mind though since I'm kind of a boba fiend lol. I ended up getting their Strawberry Yogurt, Wintermelon Milk Tea (2 kinds), and the free Thai Tea. The strawberry yogurt is one of the few drinks that aren't caffeinated there. It's nice and sweet and comes with strawberry popping boba. I had found out that we can request the wintermelon milk tea to be made with either green tea or black tea. I ended up getting both. The wintermelon milk tea (green) was more floral and the wintermelon milk tea (black) had a more robust flavor. Thai tea tasted great even though I didn't drink it til the next day. I feel like you can't really go wrong with Thai Tea. Overall, I highly recommend getting drinks at any Krak Boba! Even though I didn't get it at this location, my favorite go to drink is the Strawberry Matcha Latte. read more

I was really disappointed with this place. I drink lots of boba and have to say that the drinks don't taste great. I ordered the matcha storm and it was worse compared to the Matcha Frap at Starbucks. Not to mention, the drink wasn't blended well, as there was large chunks of ice within the drink. My friend and I love to go get boba so she saw this place was new so we had to go try it. We tried 3 different boba. My friend had the milk tea and it was good! That's always a great classic one to get if you don't want anything fancy. I got the brûlée. It was good but too sweet for me. I got my daughter the strawberry snow and it was pretty go she liked it and it was a different unique flavor to try. It had a great vibe and lots of seating. If I was craving boba would definitely come back to check this place out. Parking is difficult in this shopping in general so if you come at a busy time it's hard to get parking in general read more

OMG it's so good! Like so good! Both of our drinks had such great flavor and so fresh! Totally try the Dragon Slayer and King Brûlée so good you won't want to put your drink down. The sizes are pretty big which made my day haha. The space is so nice and chill. I would defiantly chill while I had my drink at the window. New spot in the southbay crossroads. They have a big lot but you may need to park farther during meal times. Service was quick considering the length of the line during their grand opening. They have different drinks that all look pretty cool. They have good deals bduring the week too until 5/2. The dragon slayer and the guerilla Thai were both great! read more

Love the dragon/and sunset passion, always busy. However the Boba in the slushy's are great for small kids that can't have caffeinated beverages. They will split a large for you without a fee which is wonderful since the little ones can't have too much. read more

Well I placed an order through their Toast app. Said it would be ready by 1:55pm. I rushed there and it wasn't even made yet. What is the point of ordering in advance if it's not going to be ready? I had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my 2 drinks. I should also add that they did a sloppy job of sealing the drink tops. When you have kids; you need to make sure these are sealed. Krak Boba is another wonderful and much needed addition to Torrance. It has a good selection of signature drinks as well as all the classics. My friend and I ordered a classic milk tea and their signature King Brule tea. Both very good drinks without being artificially or overpoweringly sweet. The only slightly small complaint I had was the milk tea drink was not completely full to the top and was missing a couple sips worth, and with everything getting more expensive in the world I'd like to make sure I get my money's worth. Besides that, 100% would recommend and come back read more

Yay! Another boba spot!!! And this one is a really good location for me since I'm a Home Goods junkie and have so many home projects I should just work at Home Depot... I'm there all the time... I like Thai Iced tea ice blended with boba. They recommended the gorilla that's mixed with matcha tea I really couldn't taste any difference it just tasted like a Thai iced tea which is fine I'm not complaining at all it was good and the boba was perfect consistency, not too soft or hard, and the amount was good too. But what what very impressive was the speed! I don't think I have ever gotten my boba this fast ever! Wow! Like inhumanly fast!!!! And I just had dinner with a friend who said her daughter tried working here and unfortunately didn't make it she was fired she was not experienced enough and fast enough, so getting my boba so flipping fast I see why she didn't make the cut. The staff here are like super hero fast. I will have to let my friend know to tell her daughter not to feel bad it was her first time trying to be a boba barista, it would have been nice if they had the time to train her but with the grand opening and long lines of enthusiastic boba fans I totally understand they can't risk upsetting all these first time customers who are going to be so judgmental, plus they are raffling out a TV if you leave a Yelp review they do not want bad reviews right off the bat- so very understandable. They should not have taken any new inexperienced workers. I was really happy with the service the drink and cute decor - 5 stars from me! I'm on my there again... lol read more

Since this place opened, it has been my go-to boba place. I have come countless times, introducing many friends as well, but after recent experiences, I am questioning if I will come back. First, of all, my favorite drink here has been the jasmine milk tea with crème brûlée, but the last time I was here, the tea had been changed from the one they typically use, and it just tasted like straight milk, which was disappointing to say the least. Today, however, as it was earlier in the day, I decided to go out of my way to get the matcha smoothie. When I walked in, I saw they were out of caramel, which is one of the main selling points of the drink, trying to not be discouraged, I attempted to order it and ask that they add-in strawberry puree to the drink. (Something I've been able to get a few times before, and something I would have happily paid for considering I just drove 15 minutes out of my way to get). And yet, the guy behind the counter outright refused to do so. He said he could not add in strawberries no matter what -- even though I have gotten it plenty of times before. This is also extremely frustrating considering the fact that the drink itself cannot be made how it usually is because they are out of ingredients, yet, I cannot get something added to it to make it more palatable. Normally the service here is excellent and the people working are great, but the guy working behind the counter today left a really negative impression and now that I can no longer get the drinks I like here how I like them, not sure it's worth coming back. read more

Cream brûlée boba...just the name sold me to d I've to this little shop and as soon as I pushed the straw in and took a sip I was addicted to this creamy drink with the chunks of cream brûlée goodness with every sip. I've been driving by every chance I get. The staff are super friendly and they work super fast. I haven't had to wait longer than 8 mins for my drinks. This is the best boba I've tasted so far. A must buy. I've also tasted the taro monster and that's also pretty good. read more

How can you not enter a store called "Krak Boba"? Awesome name, great product!. I scored the Dragon Slayer, cuz I'll buy anything with the name SLAYER!. It was tangy, sweet, flavorful & refreshing. Doll Parts got the King Brûlée, which is more milk based, but equally as awesome as SLAYER!. Very pleasant staff, simple menu, great product, we will be returning for more Boba! read more

Like I said, this location has a drive-thru so it's draw for that convenience. There is also a small parking lot that's strictly for their customers. We drove by on 2 consecutive nights and they were busy both nights.

Their 1st day of their grand opening left me with a good enough impression to come back for a second day, unfortunately the second day coming into their grand opening has left me with feelings of disappointment. On the first day, I was able to order 6 bobas in total for my family, but the second day they said only one per person attending. Apparently it took one person to really abuse it. To note, I did not alter the drinks, kept them as normal without changes or add-ons I had their king brûlée, cookies and cream smoothie, strawberry snow, winter melon green tea, mango tango and signature milk tea. Overall it was really good for the first day but when I reordered king brûlée on the second day it was a huge letdown. The second day, king brûlée was less sweet, less caramel tasting, boba was harder, egg pudding was way less in it too. It's like as if it was watered down. Day one was like drinking a sweet caramel pudding, the second day was like drinking milk with a splash of caramel. Maybe I'd comeback to try again but I'm not sure after have poor consistency in a drink when it's just the next day. Tl;dr: It was OK. Inconsistent coming 2 days in a row, bad impression for grand opening even on a specialty drink. read more

Went to the grand opening and there were photographers and staff all around. The owner was talking to everyone in line and making everyone feel welcomed, describing the specialties on the menu. I ordered the king brûlée which was the most popular one and a matcha storm. One sip from the king brûlée and you will know why the line wrapped around the block at this grand opening. The cheese foam was so delicious and the brown sugar was excellent. The cup was also very tall and worth the $5.95 (today it was free). I can't wait to try the matcha green tea next. There was a grand prize drawing for a 4K HDTV and the staff was very nice and friendly. I highly recommend the king brûlée it's so delicious and this place is probably the best boba place I have ever been to. They have upped the game and everyone has to step up now to even try to beat this place in the best taste and best value for your money.
