I heard about this place opening on social media and was pleasantly surprised to see it in the same shopping center on a random Homegoods run. My friend and I got their just in time to make an order. They were very friendly and the place was clean and vibrant! I ordered the Guerrilla Thai specialty drink and Thai Milk Tea. They were both so flavorful and delicious! The Guerrilla Thai combines my favorite flavors, Thai tea and matcha in a slush with cheese cream on top. It was very smooth and creamy. I really love this business. The energy is super positive. Very beautiful aesthetic inside. It actually seems like the employees want to be there and that makes a huge difference. And the drinks are really great quality. My first time going was about two weeks ago and I believe the owner was there. I loved that he aspired to have a positive environment for his employees. My drink was SO good... I used to work a It's Boba Time off Crenshaw, majority of employees there don't follow recipes. I really hope you'll continue to ensure your staff follows the recipes so I can get a consistently amazing drink every time. Tried this place for the first time. Drinks are very sweet and this place didn't seem to be good at making teas compared to nearby competition. Loved the opening deal but just didn't like the drinks. Threw away two of the three drinks. Drinks look appealing from the pictures but the taste was not what I was expecting. Won't be coming back. read more

let me preface this by acknowledging that i'm one of the strange few that prefers their boba drinks with 0% sugar. this unfortunately is due to medical reasons & not entirely by choice - but because i love boba so much & can't resist - crystal boba & the option for 0% sugar allows me to enjoy it still. with that said, i frequent bobahi a lot when i visit torrance, primarily because of proximity but i also really enjoy the flavor. my gripe however is that my go-to drink is their signature summer passion & it's always a hit or miss with the staff on whether or not i can have it that day. it's seriously a gamble each time i come in. some days i get a really accomodating staff member who prepares a lower sugar (i understand 25% is the lowest amount allowed adjusted since the syrup is already sweet & i'm ok with that) & some days i get staff members who absolutely refuse. i've also been told once that management reprimands them if they adjust the sweetness level.. & that's what baffling to me. why would management reprimand staff for simply providing a little less syrup for a customer who is perfectly content still paying FULL price for less? strange right? anyways, bobahi - i do appreciate you but consistency is key. it'd be nice if you could make up your mind on whether or not i can enjoy summer passion tea or not so that i don't crave it as much if i know i absolutely can't have it. if i know the sweetness level can't be adjusted, i understand & won't try - but until that's written in stone - i'm gonna keep asking & i'm gonna keep being disappointed at the 2/5 times i ask.. but the 3/5 times that i am able to enjoy the summer passion keeps me coming back. unfortunately, today was my back up 25% sugar mango tea day which prompted this review finally. definitely not as good as the summer passion though so today was a bobalow day :( read more

My first visit was a hit. I ordered the matcha storm which was delicious. The matcha was on point, no crazy serving of caramel/whip cream ( or whatever the white cream stuff is ). Yesterday I had a crave for it so I ended up going around 8:45 & it seemed to be one of its busiest time of the day. I ordered a matcha storm and when I got it, it was more like matcha soup drenched in caramel and whip cream. I was so grossed out and ended up having buyers remorse. We waited 20 minutes for a smoothie that ended up being completely soupy, drenched in caramel and white cream that it over powered the matcha taste. I don't mind the wait time but please, take ur time when making these drinks so they can at least come out tasting fairly decent. read more
