I can see why this place is popular. It's got a very trendy menu, lots of smoothie offerings and smoothie bowls and a very large variety of baked goods to go along with their cafe drinks menu. However, I thought the prices were pretty high for what you get. There also wasn't as extensive of a vegan menu as I thought there would be. I did try the Game Changer vegan sausage wrap. It was pretty tasty and I do love Beyond Sausage but there was barely any vegan queso on it at all. Overall this is a cute place, but probably not somewhere I will go out of my way to try again. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite places! I understand why it is such a huge hit with the younger crowd, but also The mom crowd. They have amazing coffee drinks, smoothies, and bowls. I absolutely love their avocado toast options. But then they have the most crisp and cheesy grilled cheeses you have ever tasted in your life. I have no idea how they manage to get the bread so crisp and buttery, but not soggy, while still getting the cheese to be perfect inside. They include these delicious potato chips with a spicy honey drizzle on them that are so much better than french fries! This place is definitely a win because you can get something for yourself and something for your kids and everyone is happy. I was surprised to see them expand to so many locations so quickly, but I get it. They have totally taken off! read more

Bobo's is the best cafe for coffee/chai latte/iced coffee and breakfast & unique lunch sandwiches in the Somers/Purdys/Yorktown Heights area. The staff is incredibly gracious. Two brothers and their father run the place and it's so successful they will soon open another location on Rt 6 in Mahopac. The chocolate pretzel twists, rugelah, pistachio muffins and other danishes are to die for. I actually like their chai better than Starbucks which I thought I was addicted to. I used to live in Somers and heard a ton of hype about Bobo's, so last time I was visiting, I decided to check it out. My expectations were exceeded! The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food is amazing. My dad got a breakfast sandwich, which was perfectly cooked and delicious. I tried a smoothie bowl, which was huge but amazing. (They mentioned they were thinking about offering smaller sizes, hopefully they've added this option by now.) It's a little pricey but the food is fresh and cooked to your liking, so it's worth it. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town! read more

Everything I've had so far has been wonderful, but I'm partial to their Acai bowls. The large is enormous and each bowl comes with 3 free toppings and then .50 per topping after (they are very generous with all of their toppings). They do up charge a bit more on some of the premium toppings, but nothing outrageous. read more

This place has delicious made to order food. I get oatmeal with fruit, nuts, and peanut butter. I also get delicious fruit smoothies and chia bowls made to order with exactly what I want in them. I ordered a cold brew on a Monday morning and the woman who took my order seemed completely put out that she had to help me. No common courtesy whatsoever, even after being thanked. The staff is not friendly. The few times I have been there I always feel like the staff at the counter seems annoyed to take my order. The menu is creative, but the actual food is mediocre and overpriced for the location. The last straw was when my brother, a man in his 30's went up to the counter and started his order by saying "Hi, let me get a..." and the girl at the counter said "what do you mean let me get? Do you mean you want to come on this side of the counter and get it yourself?" My brother was shocked, he didn't mean any disrespect. Never again! read more

Why didnt I stop here a long time ago? Forget Starbucks. Bobos lattes are much better. I started to realize that smaller coffee shops have much better espresso than larger chains.
