Picked up a breakfast donut, apple fritter and donut holes. Unfortunately, the donuts didn't taste fresh, despite picking them up in the morning. Maybe the oil needed to be changed or something but the donut holes had a strong used oil taste. I chose the jalapeno cream cheese donut which wasn't great but wasn't horrible either. Tasted exactly how it looked. Again, didn't taste fresh as if it's been sitting out for some time. A few people enjoying their donuts inside.

Bob's is a S.F. institution as far as donuts are concerned. They're known for being open 24 hours a day and their huge donuts. This location is across the street the street from the o.g. location. This one is bright and cleaner than original. I especially love the jelly donut because they don't skimp on that jelly inside. Street parking is tough.

I saw parking while driving past so opted to sate my craving for a Custard Filled Chocolate Long John. Even on a quiet Thursday morning the shop had a steady stream of customers. Efficient Staff, and trays of freshly made donuts.

Wow. On our e-bikes this Tuesday morning I suggested to hubby we make our way to Bob's. Being donuts fans he was very agreeable. We popped in around 10:00am. We looked at all the yummy donuts and bought: * chocolate old fashioned * blueberry- one crumble& one cake. There's a few chairs alongside the small footprint. We kinda sat & stood inside as we had to keep an eye on our bikes. Our first bite - WOW! Still warm and so moist. We talked about our donuts a good 1/2 hour as we continued on our bikes What a great morning treat.

Lesser known than the one on Polk, this Bob's Donuts on Baker/Fulton had no lines when I got there for a sinful treat. Their apple fritter is huge and out-of-this-world deeelicious - I walked many blocks and devoured the whole thing!

While I love the variety of flavors and options of donuts, I've never been blown away by them. They're decent overall, but I would love if they were a little bit sweeter. There's a small amount of seating near the window, but more of a take away spot. You get your donuts pretty quickly after your order.

Great corner spot for easy access to donuts. Great variety, and nice staff members explaining the flavors. The display case was cute and organized neatly with name tents. Came here after an ebike tour and ordered thir famous Apple Fritter donut. Great flavor! Lovely day. Famous Apple Fritter donut - massive!!

Came for a donut! They have so many options. This is my third time here. I went on a weekday and there was almost no wait. It gets busy on weekends. This is one of my favorite donut shops in the City! Very fluffy and priced well. Staff is nice. They take credit card.

Classic SF donut shop. Have been going to the Polk St location for years. Super friendly staff and large variety of donuts. I tried the vegan matcha. Flavors were okay but the donut was a bit dry, so felt a little off. And boy, who knew donuts were so pricey nowadays

Stopped by bob's donuts and got my go to donuts-- apple fritters, tiger tail, and some of the classic donuts. Always a welcoming cashier. There is few seating indoors and no seating outdoors. Parking can be difficult in this area, but located on the corner of the street and a good place to pick up a donut or two after a long walk or bike ride in Golden Gate Park.

Came here on International Donut Day and was happy with the Hawaiian Blueberry filled donut which was Que ricooooooooo. Cute shop! We stopped here while on an e-bike tour of San Francisco and they stopped at iconic places so very glad to experience Bob's.

Dropped by on the 4th of July and was thankful they were open! While looking through the options, people came in and out -- lots of runners stopping for a sweet treat, surprisingly. The donuts in the glass display are mostly those with filling. All trad donuts are in the back, so they're there and available, just not displayed. Obvious, but thought I'd mention it. Donut holes (half $2, dozen $4) Cash and card both accepted. Cashier was a little rude and short responsed/had attitude. It's ok! Got the apple fritter, tiramisu, half dozen donut holes and a Hawaiian guava!

I rarely eat sweet stuff. Bob's Donuts is my exception. My favorite is their classic glazed donut. It is fluffy, crispy sugar crust, moist on the inside without being under cooked and melts as soon as I chew into it. It is never dry. Excellent service.

Affordable, fresh, and delicious! Though the line can sometimes be long if you're in a rush, it's a neighborhood staple for a good reason!

It's a lot larger inside than it looks outside, and decorated with lots of Bob's Donuts art and pictures. There's a few tables with seats to take a quick moment to enjoy your donuts. Service was okay - there's no menu and it was hard for us to figure out what was what and if there were additional donuts available in the racks in the back that weren't on display. We wanted to get a dozen of assorted flavors to bring to work to share, and the worker at the time didn't seem to have any patience so we grabbed a random assortment of the 3 flavors in front of us. I got a guava malasada and a creme brulee donut to share as our post-meal dessert, and enjoyed the guava malasada. It was perfectly light and fluffy, coated with sugar, and jam packed with plenty of gauva jam - maybe even a little too much jam. The creme brulee donut was just okay, the sugar was melted so there was no crisp shattering snap, and it mostly just tasted like torched sugar on a custard donut. I'm not the biggest donut fan, but the malasada was good - I didn't know they had malasadas, so I might come back for one when I'm in the area and have the craving for one, though I wish the fillings were custard based instead of straight jam.

I'm pretty picky with my glazes, which is why I default to cake when trying new donut places as most classic glazed donuts are pretty stale by the afternoon. But to my surprise, their classic yeasty glazed donut was incredible moist and not too overly fried. This is the mark of an excellent donut shop. The woman behind the counter tongue-tied herself trying to say "crumb-coated cinnamon roll" and laughed which was extremely adorable so I had to get it. And yes, they gave a couple of surprise donuts which we didn't know was a thing. Everyone is tense and crabby these days (for good reason), so such a small move can really make someone's day. And yes, all of the donuts were excellent and fresh! I normally wouldn't order a cruller because they are always chewy and flavorless. Now I get it! Parking is super easy around the area, which is a rarity in SF. Shop is bright and airy, with the most adorable pastel color scheme. I ordered two of their milk chocolate donuts ($5 each), a key lime meringue donut ($6), a blueberry & lime donut ($5), and a caramel apple donut ($6). Donuts are on the pricier side, but the presentation and use of high quality ingredients makes up for it. The sourdough donuts themselves aren't nearly as sweet as standard donuts and have a soft, bouncy texture. The milk chocolate donut was absolutely decadent. Upon first bite, you can immediately tell this donut was topped with real melted milk chocolate. This was levels above a typical chocolate glazed donut. The flakey sea salt garnished on top balanced out the sweetness nicely. Although I will say that I found the richness of the chocolate to clash slightly with the tanginess of the sourdough donut. The key lime meringue donut had a super tart key lime filling and was topped with fluffy meringue. Definitely the most eye catching of the donuts I picked up. But the key lime filling was a bit too punchy and sour for my liking. The glaze on the blueberry & lime donut had a potent and fresh blueberry flavor that went well with the lime zest sprinkled on top. The caramel apple donut was my favorite. The caramelized apple filling paired with the cream cheese frosting and graham cracker crumbs was almost like eating an apple pie + cheesecake fusion but as a donut! Overall, a solid donut place that I'd return to if I'm ever in need of a special treat!
