Heard good things about Trish's so we decided to give it a try while walking around Fisherman's Wharf. We waited about 15 minutes on a Sunday evening around 7:30pm and ordered 12 mini donuts for $9 at the window and it was ready immediately Donuts came out piping hot so definitely recommend eating them asap. They were crispy on the outside and melt in your month soft on the inside! Ahhh the best sweet treat when walking the pier! This has been a family tradition such as long as I can remember. We buy a bucket and share while walking the pier at night. This is a SF staple for tourist to actually come try. Its located at pier 39, and its pretty basic but its soo fluffy and made fresh upon order. Pretty expensive but I mean it is in a touristy spot. I'm glad that this location is still open after all these years. If I'm ever at the pier to visit its a must have to complete my day. The workers are always super nice and its super fast. If you're a tourist, come try it out! read more

Sooo good!! I don't know what I was expecting, but I couldn't get enough of these mini donuts. They were fresh, warm, soft on the inside and had some crispness on the outer part. Pretty good amount for the price too. I'm not in California anymore, but if I get the chance to come back to the area I would love more of these. read more

My friend and I were walking around Pier 39 on Sunday, and he mentioned wanting to try this place. We ordered the 7 mini donuts in a bag and it came with two little skewers. The donuts were so good! It was lightly sweet and soft with a slight crisp. The dusting of sugar gave the donuts a bit of a crunch. The amount of donuts was perfect for the two of us. It was a small stand in Pier 39. The staff were friendly when taking our order and handing us the baggie. There weren't that many people waiting, so we were able to get our donuts within a couple minutes. Definitely would come again for a little sweet treat if I'm in the area! read more

A must-have if you go to Pier 39/Fisherman's Wharf! Trish is a SF treasure. These warm, cute, light, airy, and fresh sweet gooey goodness. They say you can't buy happiness but you can buy Trish's Mini Donuts, which is pretty much the same thing. Service is wonderful and you can grab them and go, enjoying the beautiful view. One of my absolute favorite donut shops in the Bay Area! I enjoy the bite size donut, cinnamon sugar coated yummy soft, warm and chewy donut that is offered at our very own Pier 39. Whenever I get the chance to come with my boyfriend, we stand in line and get my favorite donuts here and grab a delicious yummy coffee from Biscoff near the entrance. The service is amazing, fast and efficient. You'll get your donuts less than 30 seconds after ordering and paying! The line might look scary, but they move quick. The ambiance is great, you get a nice view of all the stores deep in the pier as well as a view of the water to your right. I love coming around sunset when the lights start to turn on and liven up the area in a very pleasant way. I love coming here, even if the crowds are huge. Come here for donuts and roam through the stores that pier 39 has to offer! read more

Food: 7 Mini Donuts Price: $6 Overall: The most famous place for mini donuts in a bucket! They also sell drinks here such as hot chocolate, coffee, and other beverages but the main stair is the donuts. You can smell them on pier 39. We decided just to get the 7 donuts for $6. I thought it would be heavy but honestly, I can see why people get the buckets. It is light and not too airy, coated with cinnamon sugar, with a small crisp to it. I have not been to Trish's Mini Donuts in forever! It's been such a long time that my past review definitely shows my younger self and how I used to type. So silly looking back! It is just how I remembered it to be and I still find it to be a good 5 star rating! Hot mini fluffy donuts with a perfect crunch on the outside served hot fresh. You cannot go wrong! $18 for a souvenir bucket full of hot fresh 36ct mini donuts. I am not a sugary donut person whatsoever but I just love how FLUFFY and HOT these donuts are and have the perfect fried crunch on the outside. I normally just tap off the sugar and get the perfect amount of sugar per bite. We also ordered hot chocolate and the hot chocolate was SO GOOD. I always stop by this little shop whenever I'm at Pier 39. Always fast and friendly service with minimal wait. It's a small take-out shop with no indoor dining. Perfect for light snacking on the go while roaming around the pier. The mini donuts are always freshly made, with a crispy exterior and super soft interior. Wish there were more spots like this in the city! The donuts are as fresh as they can be. They are slightly crispy on the outside and soft, gooey and chewy on the inside. You can get 7, 12 or 24 or if you want more the 36 and 120 (?!) donut options come with a souvenir bucket and tub respectively . We popped in here with the kids the other day after disembarking from our cruise ship. I've been here before but somehow managed to completely forget about it. Absolutely loved rediscovering this spot! The cinnamon and sugar mix is perfectly balanced--sweet, warm, and comforting. The donuts are made fresh right in front of you and come out hot and pillowy. You can smell them from down the pier, and they taste even better than they smell. A fun, tasty treat while exploring San Francisco. read more

If you have ever had SPARKYS at Universal City in Hollywood then you know how good these taste. They make them fresh to order and they are nice and hot when you get them! They are fluffy and coated with sugar cinnamon. Trust me when I say just get the bucket because the little bag will vanish especially if you're sharing ;) If you're at pier 39 then I highly recommend trying these little golden donuts. Whenever I visit Pier 39 I usually stop by Trish's Mini Donuts and order their cinnamon sugar mini donuts. This shop makes them fresh and you can watch the donuts being made at the front window. These delicious donuts are a good dessert option when you're at Pier 39. This is a take out only donut shop. Unfortunately they don't have outdoor seating, but there are some benches nearby or you can enjoy them while you're walking around. Customer service was fast. Trish Conklin is a San Francisco based food retail entrepreneur who specializes in mini donuts and novel chocolates in high volume tourist areas like Pier 39 in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf and Universal Studios in Hollywood. Operating for over 23 years, Trish now owns and manages six different food retail businesses under her parent company "Trish's Dishes" which include Trish's Mini Donuts, San Francisco Chocolate Store, Sparky's Hollywood Chocolate and Sparky's Mini Donuts, THE HOOK Restaurant at Pier 39, and several Hot Dog-Chowder kiosks in the Bay Area known as "The Dog House". Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Trish left her family's carnival business, Conklin Shows, to start her own food retail venture in the west coast of America. Shop is bright and airy, with the most adorable pastel color scheme. I ordered two of their milk chocolate donuts ($5 each), a key lime meringue donut ($6), a blueberry & lime donut ($5), and a caramel apple donut ($6). Donuts are on the pricier side, but the presentation and use of high quality ingredients makes up for it. The sourdough donuts themselves aren't nearly as sweet as standard donuts and have a soft, bouncy texture. The milk chocolate donut was absolutely decadent. Upon first bite, you can immediately tell this donut was topped with real melted milk chocolate. This was levels above a typical chocolate glazed donut. The flakey sea salt garnished on top balanced out the sweetness nicely. Although I will say that I found the richness of the chocolate to clash slightly with the tanginess of the sourdough donut. The key lime meringue donut had a super tart key lime filling and was topped with fluffy meringue. Definitely the most eye catching of the donuts I picked up. But the key lime filling was a bit too punchy and sour for my liking. The glaze on the blueberry & lime donut had a potent and fresh blueberry flavor that went well with the lime zest sprinkled on top. The caramel apple donut was my favorite. The caramelized apple filling paired with the cream cheese frosting and graham cracker crumbs was almost like eating an apple pie + cheesecake fusion but as a donut! Overall, a solid donut place that I'd return to if I'm ever in need of a special treat!

These are classic, pillowy doughnuts with a nice, soft bite and sprinkles that stick to your lips and rain down on your shirt. The kind of doughnuts that bring a childlike smile to your face. We picked up a "Too Good to Go" bag with four big doughnuts. My son made a beeline for the brown sugar cinnamon twist and I had the cream filled chocolate covered doughnut with sprinkles. Johnny Doughnuts has a growing number of brick & mortar stores in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Marin, East Bay and north into Napa and Santa Rosa plus a food truck that caters to businesses and parties. Nothing crazy like bacon or candy corn decorating them: These are classic cake, glazed, jelly, apple fritter and maybe flavoring one step beyond (lime mascarpone cream filled!) Johnny Doughnuts is a new favorite business. We'll return to hand pick our favorites!

To note, Juniper is typically busy, but I have never waited in line for more than 10 minutes, even on weekends. They also have a lot of tables for seating, but because of the flow of people, it might be difficult to find a spot. Stop by here if you're around the area! They are also a sister shop of Saint Frank, so you can get some coffee while you're here as well.

Upon entering the coffee shop, you'll see a good amount of seating, but for the times we have gone, the majority of the seats are taken. It is definitely a variety of people socializing, working, reading books, or just hanging out. Parking is metered or street parking, and we haven't had any issue finding parking! It's also in an area where you can shop around (across the street) if you want to grab a bite as well. Our go to orders include the Mocha Dream Espresso Cloud and the Nitro Mango, but we have also gotten the Hojicha Cloud, which is amazing as well. We love the thickness and flavors of the cold foams - you cannot go wrong with any of the cloud drinks. As popular as this place has become, it truly is worth the trip!
