I rarely stop anywhere for breakfast (whether on the weekend or during the week) but I was famished and I like trying new restaurants (especially hole in the walls). My 1st thought was to order a breakfast burrito with bacon (I don't care for sausage) & it was pretty good. The cashier asked if I wanted salsa and I told her yes, but it didn't have any (but still tasted yummy, nonetheless). I wait for about two minutes and this guy comes in and the owner pours him a coffee and hands it to him when gets to the counter. I went with the B.L.T. special (IT SUPER SUCKED) they didn't even ask what kind of bread I wanted and the bacon was old - really greasy- stiff (not in a good way) and cold. If I had wanted that small of an order of fries, I would've gone with a kids meal. Hun got the Steak sandwich special which although juicy, had alot of gristle (fat). I've been here many times being a local, but I noticed on this visit how many unsanitary practices are the habit of the food handlers. It grosses me out watching the rub of the apron and wipe the forehead to pick up the bread or put the lettuce etc in place wearing no gloves and showing no discretion, there was a B grade in the window and I have no idea what that is about.
