What happened Ricks? You use to have the best chili fries. Just order a burger special and chili fries. The fries are dried out, thin and "crispy" if you like that. Honestly they tasted re-heated and dried out Too hard that not even the chili made them and better. I havent been there in a while. WIll not go back. read more

So for a few reasons I'm sticking to 2 stars, I was thinking of doing just 1 star. A while backnInwas addicted to their breakfast burritos but after a while it seemed like they started using sandwhich cheese inside it and made it taste funky. 2 times I've ordered their pancakes and they can out bad. First time, they pancakes were burnt or it was a dirty skillet.. the pancakes were DARK! The second time, the pancakes had a bad sour after taste, I tried to power through it but I just couldn't do it. I gave them many chances and it just isn't cutting it anymore. I rarely stop anywhere for breakfast (whether on the weekend or during the week) but I was famished and I like trying new restaurants (especially hole in the walls). My 1st thought was to order a breakfast burrito with bacon (I don't care for sausage) & it was pretty good. The cashier asked if I wanted salsa and I told her yes, but it didn't have any (but still tasted yummy, nonetheless). I figured since I was the only english speaking patron she figured I couldn't handle any salsa for that matter LOL. The only downside was the price (6.29) as I felt it should have been a couple bucks cheaper. Dining area's big and clean. I think Yelp just got me some free refills!! Anyway so I went back to this place starving as hell and I swear the manager recognized me. As soon as I pulled up to the drive thru window he had a huge smile on his face. I was definitely looking busted that day so I know he wasn't trying to hit on me or anything. hhaha. Was in Wilmington and had some time to kill. So I stopped at Ricks to grab a quick lunch. The service was bad. I walk in and I guess the owner is talking to some regulars. So I wait and wait. I wait for about two minutes and this guy comes in and the owner pours him a coffee and hands it to him when gets to the counter. They talk for about a minute and the he excuses himself from the conversation and takes my order. The girl comes in and he tells her to take my money and give me a small Coke. It comes to $3.29 and I give her a five dollar bill. She gives me $1.65 cent change. And no coke. Got the and then the Coke. I would give 1 star but the food was great. Check your receipt. They charge you more than listed and then talk in circles when you ask them to explain the difference. It's just an extra $5, but it's the principle of being deliberately lied to (incorrect displayed prices) or being stolen from (charging more because they think we won't notice). read more

The burgers are okay, but the service has gone downhill for a while. Can be stuck at the drive thru without anyone asking what you'd like. The breakfasts here are awful. Have ordered omelettes and steak/eggs and both items have been stale. Not to mention the glob of potatoes that taste n look more like mash potatoes than what ever they are supposed to be. The inside is noticeably dirty and the tables are worn and in need of replacing. The girl at the counter was rude and didn't seem to understand customer service. It wouldn't have been so but she has a total dump backing her up. I'd be pissed off too if my work place bathroom was as disgusting as the one here. Here you can't order breakfast anytime you want. I went with the B.L.T. special (IT SUPER SUCKED) they didn't even ask what kind of bread I wanted and the bacon was old - really greasy- stiff (not in a good way) and cold. If I had wanted that small of an order of fries, I would've gone with a kids meal. Hun got the Steak sandwich special which although juicy, had alot of gristle (fat). For this kind of weak ass food, I will spend my money at Jack or McDonalds or better yet head on back to Fabulous. read more
