    Onion rings. Thoroughly enjoyed them.
    William Y.

Drinks and appetizers at Bob's after attending Candlelight: a quartet review of Hans Zimmer at the Oklahoma Hall of Fame. We parked on Robinson next to Sissortail Park and walked across the street and straight into Bob's and to the bar. I love to sit at the bar in front of the longhorn painting but all seats were taken so we grbed a two-top in the bar. I ordered a dirty martini and Jan ordered an expresso martini. Both were very good. We were discussing appetizers with plans to order two and had got it to two by dropping onion rings. The server said you can order onion rings individually for $1.50 per ring. I said great, let's have shrimp coctail, calamari and two onion rings. The shrimp cocktail was excellent. The calamari was very good and so were the onion rings. The bar is modern, well appointed, spacious, and comfortable. The longhorn painting is special. Noise in the bar was high.

The rating of this place surprises me because it's on my list as one of the top streak restaurants in OKC. I came once before for a work related dinner and a few nights ago with my husband. Both times we were impressed with their steak. The quality and cook were *chefs kiss* Most of the time I'm underwhelmed by sides at steak restaurants but the potato skillet and carrot are noteworthy. I liked them almost as the main dish which is hard to do!! The staff were also very polite. 10/10

This review is a little difficult. Much of the food was really good, so let me start with that. The onion rings, calamari, and shrimp cocktail appetizers were all very good. My wedge salad was delicious. (Also very large, I should have asked for a half portion). My filet was very good, and my creamed corn side was very good. Now for the problem areas. My husband ordered a filet, and I believe he actually got a ribeye. It had a lot of fat on it, and so he was very disappointed. He didn't want to make a fuss, so he didn't say anything. We didn't receive bread like all the other tables did, so we asked for it late in the meal because our waiters were very attentive at first, but were hard to track down mid-meal. We eventually got some bread near the end of the entree portion of our meal when I asked. I just wanted to try it. We ordered the peanut butter brownie sundae for dessert. It was so big, it probably could have fed 6 people. My suggestion is to ask for the smaller portion size, which is still big enough for two people to share. But, I did find a hair in ours, so that was quite off putting. Again, I am sure they would have made it right, but I didn't want to draw attention to it. So I don't want to be too harsh on my review, but this is a high end restaurant, so it is disappointing to spend that much money and not walk away completely satisfied. It had some very good things as well, so I might be willing to try it again sometime. Also, just a note, this is one of the loudest restaurants I've been to. It was very busy, so it seemed like we had to raise our voices just to hear one another.

The New York Strip left a little something to be desired.

Gotta say the bread in this place is crazy. 5 stars for sure. I ordered the NY Strip medium well with a little pink and that thang came back cooked all the way through. Had to send it back and somewhat ruined my experience, as the second steak was just okay, even though it was a little better. They took great care of me and the team, the staff was wonderful, the service was great, and the hostess Monica was very helpful with accommodating us. I would definitely return, but they better get that steak right.

truly enjoyed our entire dining experience here. Ariel directed us to a table, was gracious, kind and funny our waiter John was knowledgeable and extremely helpful explaining all the menu items. when food came for our party everyone's food was excellent although my salmon was a tad over cooked and they promptly took it and replaced with a fresh perfectly cooked piece. I am so very pleased (mistakes can happen) at how they handled the entire evening and we came back the following night for dinner again it was so good.

Had a wonderful time at Bobs. Dim lit dining area and bar when you walk in. Very upscale. Once seated we were quickly brought delicious house bread. Our drinks were tasty, strong, and always came out quick. We started with the calamari which was good. The mixed green salad and the blue cheese salad were very good. All of the steaks were served with a large carrot and your choice of potato. The steaks were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. I loved the smashed potatoes. For sides we shared the brussel sprouts and mac and cheese which was topped with blue cheese - delicious. Very friendly server and helped us celebrate a birthday. Great dining experience.

Went for a drug rep dinner, been to many of them and havent had one tell us we couldn't have more appetizers than what was served.. Not sure if it was the servers or the actual rules but even the host of the night said they were stingy and not very nice... Not a good first impression for most of us who attended. The tenderloin was good but was over cooked , slightly tasted like hamburger. Ribeye was better than most and sides were fantastic.

Butterfly filet, carrot & mashed potato

We had a great time. Everybody enjoyed their food except for the mac n cheese which was barely touched bc it was so bad - tasted chalky. John provided us with excellent service. Even tho one of the filets was cooked well done, it was still very tender. Food was great & service was excellent!

    Ribeye, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach

Went for a birthday dinner date night. Hosts were friendly, bar casual and accommodating, service and staff great. We were offered free dessert, which came with a signed card--nice touch. Food was not my favorite. Vinaigrette dressing lacked flavor and the cut of the filet had gristle but the cook was good and the crust on the outside was nice but very salty. Companion's ribeye was overdone and salty but not horrible. Smashed potatoes and creamed spinach were both great.

While in Oklahoma City searching for a upscale dinner spot I relied on Yelp. To my surprise Bob's Steak & Chop House opened in downtown OKC inside the Omni hotel. Not my first time at a Bob's S & C Location although, it's been many years. Once inside the host promptly greeted us and we were seated immediately. We started with the large Wine menu which includes several options by the bottle or glass. We also tried a handcrafted Mocktail: The Big Carrot - very refreshing and worth a try! Our dinner order included: Shrimp Cocktail: The largest shrimp I've seen in Okc! Mildly Spicy cocktail sauce arrives on the shrimp- delish! Mixed Greens salad: Champagne Vinaigrette, spicy pecans, apple and goat cheese. We split the salad (half with goat cheese half without). This salad is a new found favorite! Prime filet Mignon: 9oz's of Absolute perfection! Comes with Your choice of potato, I chose Baked and of course the famous Carrot. Maryland Style Crab Cakes: large lumps of crab full of flavor! A Sweet Potato: arrives with a large pat of sugar/cinnamon butter on the side. This location offers Great Ambiance paired with excellent service. Easy valet parking with validation. Overall a great evening.

This was the best meal I've had in OKC in a very long time…read more My wife and I did a little date night. The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside--just a tiny little white and blue building. Sitting right off 10th, parking is tight as well. Inside isn't fancy, but that's my vibe. There is an outdoor patio I didn't get to check out, but the road noise from 10th is pretty noticeable even inside. Overall the atmosphere feels small town coastal, local, and not pretentious, but does suffer slightly from its location. Service was friendly, and paced as expected for fine dining. Honestly, it's refreshing to not feel rushed at a dinner service. We enjoyed our conversation over a bottle off their (small) wine list instead. We ordered the spring pre fix and it was just ALL hits, no misses. I wrinkled my nose at the menu a bit because I don't particularly love fennel or mint or lamb or hell even salmon but I I have been converted. The food was amazing. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and portioned. The bread...the bread was the best bread starter I've tried. My wife hates oysters and loved the oyster (she tries everything cos she's not a child). The gnocchi was pillowy soft and amazing, not gummy or dense or mushy. The asparagus?! Amaze amaze amaze. 5 perfect courses (6 if you count the 2x different items for the table) for $77 a person?!?! Yes. We're going back asap.

From local food critic Jared Gleaton Eats full critique…read more Atmosphere and Hospitality: The atmosphere at Sedalia's feels less like a polished coastal seafood house and more like the hidden gem tucked behind a bustling boardwalk fishing restaurant--the kind locals quietly point you toward. We were greeted by Silvana, who warmly led us to our table while Becky guided the service throughout the evening. Plates were seamlessly swapped, water glasses never sat empty, and Becky demonstrated an impressive command of the menu and preparations. Throughout the meal, Zack and members of the kitchen team delivered several dishes themselves, describing each course in detail and offering a small but genuine slice of coastal hospitality. Food: Baked oyster, kent blanc, smoked trout roe, chive breadcrumbs ($35 1/2 Dozen) The dinner opens with a borderline transcendent bite of baked oyster, beautifully balanced and cooked to perfection, singing across the palate. A rich beurre blanc pairs seamlessly with the briny oyster while bursts of smoked trout roe punctuate each bite. The breadcrumbs on the back end provide just enough contrast in texture to round out an immaculate first course. Grilled focaccia for the table, salt cod butter, Szechuan oil, lime, chive, pecorino, balsamic ($15) The grilled focaccia is thick, fluffy, and fantastic. Notes of rich, airy bread give way to salty, buttery layers from the cod butter before finishing with subtle hints of char and acidity from the accompaniments. Barramundi tartare, kumquat, masa nachos, serrano & ancho chilies, spinach ($17) An excellent preparation, the tartare rests atop a thick masa nacho. The barramundi is soft yet slightly firm, its delicate flavor profile lifted by bright notes of kumquat and a subtle heat creeping through the back end from the serrano. Beef tongue anticuchos & la huancaína ($20) The tongue is beautifully prepared--tender with just enough structure. The anticuchos seasoning and huancaína sauce add a nutty, earthy depth that bursts across the palate with each bite. Duck confit pecorino crumble, pappardelle, alubia blanca beans, pecorino ($26) An absolutely beautiful layered dish. The rich duck confit is soft and rich with strong initial notes of pecorino giving way to middle notes of duck and end notes of tomato. Though presented in a tomato based pasta the addition of alubia blanca beans creates a creamy texture that surprises the palate, transforming what appears to be a brothy preparation into something far richer and more complex. Crispy fried hake, mojo rojo, aioli, potato ($23) A thoughtful take on fish and chips. The hake is fried perfectly, with an excellent fish-to-batter ratio. The aioli provides a creamy counterpoint while the mojo rojo adds depth and warmth. Grilled tuna collar with beurre blanc sauce (Special) This special was absolutely stunning and one of the finest bites of 2026. The rich, fatty tuna cheek is tempered beautifully by the creamy, tangy beurre blanc and fragrant tarragon. Each element complements the other, creating a layered, indulgent bite that borders on perfection. Potatoes a la huancaína, ají amarillo, sorghum, olive ($14) This course pushes firmly into transcendent territory. The soft layers of potato are draped in an ethereal ají amarillo sauce that delivers gentle heat while coating the palate in luxurious flavor. Each bite teases you into the next. Honey semifreddo, pomegranate molasses, meringue, citrus ($14) A triumphant end to the evening. The honey semifreddo melts effortlessly on the palate, cleansing and refreshing before giving way to the deeper sweetness of pomegranate molasses and delicate notes of meringue and citrus. A beautifully balanced and borderline transcendent finale.

My drink (Pineapple Martini) was delicious. My food was just okay. There were a lot of cons: 1. The front staff could've been a lot more welcoming. & Service was kind of slow. But I understand that it was Valentine's Day, so I'll give them grace. However, we had to ask for napkins and utensils twice. We couldn't eat our food and had to wait a few minutes until we had to ask the waitress who brought us our food to bring us some. More on her later. 2. I've had New Orleans food in New Orleans. Nothing compares to the real deal. This was honestly not what I expected. But this is also in Oklahoma, so I can't expect much. My food was a bit bland. However, it was still good. Just not "WOW". 3. The second waitress or whoever it was that brought our food to us (not Morgan). She also was a brunette with her hair curled. Listen, I am not an insecure woman. It's very annoying that I have to even call this out. Because there has to be boundaries and respect when you work in the service industry, you know? At least that's what I was taught when I used to work in the industry. My husband also noticed her vibe and mentioned to me that he felt uncomfortable. I felt invisible because every time she came to our table, she had her entire back towards me and was OVERLY nice to my husband. The first time I was like "not serious at all". This girl did it 3x. Literally only acknowledged my husband. When she placed his food in front of him and when she came back with our utensils it was quite obvious she was being flirtatious. Like OBVIOUS. The disrespect. On Valentine's Day too, when there are couples dining and celebrating the day. Wild. Our actual waitress was very professional. The other one? Not so much. I honestly don't think we'll ever return to this restaurant when we visit.

She was like your bag has extra claw in there and I was like huh and so my daughter was missing a claw basically a half pound and she was like can you open the bag? I was like what like she wanted to reach in the bag and pull the claw and put it on my daughter's bag and I'm like oh my God what anyways they messed up and they actually gave me an extra claw on my daughter was shorter the claw and you know I'm already in my bag digging yes starting to eat and she literally brought the bag out was like can you just give her claw out your bag I did but no ma'am excuse me you need to replenish that claw that is you guys mistake I've already started cracking claws eating on this and then you want me to hand her something out of my bag. I'm already digging in mind you I had one hand with the glove and one hand without a glove yeah my daughter, but if it was anybody else like I don't want their germs and they don't want mine that was a little bit of gross but you're that hard up for one claw nasty nasty. I hate to see the kitchen like for real if you actually dropped the claw on the floor. They're picking that shit right back up. I know you're eating what's inside of it but it's still just a thought of it. Just a thought of it anyways Parking is fine. Food: Birria Tacos are the best thing on the menu. Cheesy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Topped with cilantro and wonderful consommé. The white sauce is a great addition as well as the green sauce. The Pin Wheels are not the best for the salsa. The salsa is mediocre and also spicy. The Surf and Turf Quesadillas are cheesy and packed with meat. The same meal as a burrito is good, but not preferred over the quesadillas. The Ceviche is out of this world. A heaping portion of perfectly citrus and not too fishy. The only meal that was not good was the Marlin Quesadilla. It was too fishy and tasted like fishy BBQ.
