I came on a Sunday evening and there was no line. We were attended to very quickly. At this açaí place, you get to watch as they assemble your bowl. I appreciate that and how they show you your topping beforehand. I only paid $11 for my bowl which was a decent size and had lots of topping! They have lots of bases you could choose from alongside açaí, such as mango and matcha. This is a cute little açaí spot within Claremont village with lots of seating inside and variety! Lady's were making it fresh in the kitchen and you can tell. The dessert was also not very sweet and had a strong banana flavor. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACEE.

I must say that this little place is pretty steady and the crew is very friendly. I ordered the BOCA cheeseburger !!!!!!!!!!! so good ... It is cooked to perfection and is so juicy inside. The bun is a fresh potato bun.... oooooo and the empanada was to die for. must get it fried. The cashier did suggest fried, I wanted to taste baked so the owner jumped in and recommended to get one baked and fried so next time I would know which one I would like. The cook came to my table and asked how everything was.. we talked for a bit and she made me feel so comfortable and important. This kind of service is not seen any longer at most establishments. She actually went to all the customers and they seemed very happy with the food as well as their meals.. So today I went to Boca Burger for the first time with my girl and Wally and Jackson gave us wonderful customer service! We we're actually trying to find somewhere to eat for 45 minutes when we decided on Boca burger. We got here before they closed down for the night, and they didn't have the soup we had wanted but they gave us an extra order of fries and a free empanada to try! They also gave us our choice of any drink out of the drink machine just because they didn't have carbonation in the soda that we wanted and gave us one of those cool glass bottle Coca-Cola's! I definitely recommend this place to anyone coming in! if you're in town make sure to stop by Boca Burger! After reading numerous positive reviews I finally decided to try this place plus I was in the mood for a burger and didn't want to navigate through the village to find parking. I ordered their Boca Burger and WOW what a great burger all ingredients were fresh and crispy the patty was tender and juicy and the sauce was just perfect. It is situated at the former location of Tilted Kilt. For the time being, the interior decor and table configurations have remained unchanged. Even if the name has changed, the location remains the same. The meals, on the other hand, have changed. There are fewer options for meals. Nonetheless, they are extremely tasty. At the same time, it gets extremely packed on weekends. As a result, I would advise arriving early. Overall, my visit to this company was a nice one. read more

The location seemed a little "dirty"...not filthy, but run down and just not what I expected it to be. I tried them and they were great. i do prefer the fried ones, but these baked empanadas were juicy from the inside and a hot crisp shell on the outside. They were great. It has an old fireplace that seems to be ignored, it's a missed opportunity for a cute decor/photo op for new customers. They should spruce this area up with some plants and a neon sign! We really love Los Jarritos and will be life long customers. They could sell their food out of a tent and we would come, so them being back open, is all that matters to us! And they started me with chips and salsa which was decent. In my heart of hearts I was craving a bean and cheese burrito and although the cheese wasn't fully melted, it still hit the spot and it was a good size burrito. The criticism: Found the taco to be very mid. The meat was dry, tough and almost flavorless with a haphazard sprinkle of pico de gallo and the tortillas were nothing special. I used the salsa from the chips and salsa but honestly it wasn't enough, and would've appreciated more salsa options. Chalupa was a bit spicier and more flavorful with shredded beef inside. There was some random guac on the side that also had no flavor. Like damn, squeeze some lime on that b*tch, and maybe some salt. Serving with limes on the side would've gone a long way actually. I feel like it's a basic spot for basic, mostly white Claremont clientele. I'd come back for a convenient lunch but I'd never recommend it to a friend who is actually interested in good ethnic food.
