Ive been coming here since it first opened. I used to stop by 2-3 a week when the guys were making the food. Now they have a couple of young girls making the food and the portions got smaller and the prices went up. I thought maybe it was because of the time of day I went. The last 3 trips were the same. A great little taco stand to go to. Prices are fair, and the taste is really good. If you order the special taco's, they load it up with everything, meat of your choice, cabbage, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, and hot sauce. The tortilla isn't big enough to hold everything, so if you don't eat it fast, everything starts to fall out, fall apart, and get all over your hands, make sure you get a fork and plenty of napkins. Other items that would also be an excellent choice, would be the burritos, and the quesadillas. Been coming here since 1986. There was a distinct flavor that made me come back for more. Late nights after working at UPS, this was the place to stop. Moved away from the area and still made it back for the burritos. Grew up and had new friends that also knew about this place. They also talked about that distinct flavor from the meat. I get the attempt of trying something new. It should have been a choice of flavor not complete change. Not sure if I'll be back. Super delicious carne asada burrito. My hubby was craving his favorite from this spot so we stopped in 15 min before they closed. Service was super polite and their "drive thru" super convenient. Asada tacos are my favorite, however I'm not a fan of the al pastor tacos which are usually my favorite and other tacos stands but they ain't bad definitely do the asada instead. One of my favorite Mexican fast food places to go! I usually just order tacos when I'm there but this time I decided to get the quesadilla with carne asada. I think it was one of the best quesadilla I've had! The tortilla had the perfect crunch to it and the inside was ooey gooey with crema, avocado, cheese and carne asada. My fiancé got the al pastor tacos with everything on it (his norm). All the employees there were very nice and they try to get you out of there pretty quickly especially during lunch time. They have one person prepping the tortillas and asking for orders, another guy placing the meat and toppings onto the tortilla, and the owner doing drinks and the register. This place is AMAZING, one of the best taco places I've tasted in SoCal. We got their nachos, quesadilla, but you HAVE to try their tacos. They put all the goodies: a mountain of cheese, guac, etc. I tried all the meat options and it just melts in your mouth. I recommend trying one of each taco!!! What happened to this place ??? I've been going here for a long time. Always loved getting their Carne Asada tacos & their burritos ! But now it's different & I should've known because when a restaurant says "same great taste just a different look" they always change SOMETHING & that must've been the recipe for the meat because it does not taste the same !! Usually when I bite into these tacos I'm drooling for more but I was left unsatisfied. Drive thru is still in service! Didn't try it but they have a young man always waiting for someone to pull up. I believe they are open from 12noon - 8pm everyday I used to drive here 3 times a week & I live an hour away just to get these tacos. I came here because they had a specific taste I loved but sorry boca, that won't be happening anymore. I guess that's what happens when a restaurant wants to go into a franchise.. they forget what taste made them so popular in the first place! Also I do have to agree with a review below about drunk homeless sitting around. When I was there, there was a couple who were clearly drunk or on drugs, but not homeless, sitting at the table with their luggage taking up room on an opposite table! They were arguing loudly & you could just tell everyone around was uncomfortable !
