We got married on 6/28/25 in Ventura and used her for a cutter cake, mini cupcakes, and a couple dozen gluten free cookies for our guests that were gluten free. I also heard these are the BEST gluten free cookies that our GF guests had and they definitely asked to take the left overs home at the end of the night! I had one (not GF) and I can honestly say, I couldn't tell that they were GF cookies. We had reached out to her and taste tested cupcakes and went with Churro, Strawberry Lemon, Smores, and Chocolate Lover. I am still obsessed with them. They were the perfect size and all tasted amazing. We had a Churro cutter cake and yet again tasted amazing, but we gave Lindsay little direction on decorating it (our bad, girl.) and it was SO CUTE. It was perfect. I do need to point out that Lindsay and her team were amazing with the set up. We had to last minute move our reception (due to mismanagement of White House Beach Club owner -- Dont use them) and Lindsay and team were amazing with that. They dropped off the desserts and were able to figure out where to set up everything with little direction from the absentee owner. I don't have a great image of the desserts yet, but once we get our photos back I'll update!

She doesn't greet you and just stares at you like you're about to shoplift as you're browsing for ice cream flavors. Maybe a lack of customer service? The place wasn't too busy when we visited. The ice cream is decent but interaction inside the store was really weird. I think I'd try a different location for ice creams next time.

Quite yummy, one scoop comes out to be like two in your waffle cone. Definitely hit the spot, and was a little dessert after our lunch! Store Exterior: They have a cute little sign with their name in pink along with an ice cream cone. Would be cute to take pics outside and enjoy your cone! Customer Service: The lady who helped us was so nice and patient when we took a little bit of time deciding what flavor to get! She was so cheery and didn't rush us at all! I'd consider coming back next time I'm back in Solvang!

Today was a perfectly slow day that we found ourselves the only customers in the late afternoon. We were able to take our time browsing every shelf and display. The gingerbread houses were amazing. I found myself going back to them until finally giving in to buying a couple to share with family. The type and shape of the buttercookies is slightly different in each box. The dining area has a great combination of classic American diner and Solvang ambiance that really lives up to the town vibes, and since Solvang was built up in its current form as a "Danish town" in the 1960s, that seems pretty accurate. This is pretty much a go-to stop for me when I'm in the area. Although there is usually a wait, the service is pretty quick. If you don't want to wait they have a convenient takeout window. Plus you can buy an aebelskiver pan and mix here! (Pick up some of the Bestemor's Raspberry Jam while you're there and you also won't regret it)

I had the danish sausage with eggs and hash browns, it was exceptional. My son had the eggs with pancakes and bacon and he actually ate everything on his plate which never happens. My wife was also very happy with her California eggs Benedict. The ambience is very cozy and the lighting keeps things calm. My coffee was kept full and our waters were always refilled, we were checked in on periodically to make sure everything was ok. I should also add that we had the Abelskeevrrs with ice cream and it was almost a whole meal by itself. If you are in the area this restaurant is a must try, and I can confidently say after eating at the others in the area that this is the best one. - Mr.Narrwahl

The food feels thoughtful without trying too hard, and every dish had so much flavor packed into it. The Crispy Pork Belly Sandwich was the standout for me. The gochujang Coca Cola glaze gave it that perfect sweet and savory balance, while the snap pea slaw added freshness and crunch. And somehow the brown butter cashew butter tied everything together in the best way possible. The Wagyu Pastrami Sandwich was just as memorable, rich, juicy, and super satisfying. The Swiss cheese, horseradish cream, sauerkraut aioli, and beef jus all worked so well together without overpowering the wagyu. We also ordered the strawberry lemonade and lavender lemonade, which were both super refreshing and perfect for brunch. And to end the meal, the sticky toffee pudding was absolutely exquisite. Warm, soft, rich, and easily one of the best desserts I've had in a while. I would honestly suggest not sharing it lol. Definitely one of those brunch spots where you leave already thinking about your next visit.

Coast Range seemed to check all the boxes, and they had an available reservation on the patio. We got (for us) the perfect table, which was a small area next to the entrance. Actually only our table, which was great for containing our puppy, plus a heat lamp and service over the pony wall which worked out great! We started with delicious cold, crisp martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives and a bowl of water for our pup. Our server (Chelsea B?) was so fun and friendly! We then had maybe the best wedge salad we've ever had! I think the lettuce was cut to, but not thru, the base, and opened up, with toppings inside. Roasted beet cubes, bacon, blue cheese and shallots, plus cherry tomatoes, hard boiled egg quarters and fried shallots garnish. It was incredible. I think they should call it "More than a Wedge." We also had the Ahi crudo, which had a delicious sauce and thinly sliced peppers. I wasn't too hungry, so had the French onion soup as my main course. So, it definitely didn't taste anything like French onion soup! It looked like it, and it was definitely cooked down onions but the flavor wasn't anything like I'd expect. However, it was really delicious and satisfied my craving for something warm & cheesy. So if you go in knowing that, I think you'll enjoy it. I don't like lamb, so my husband often gets it when we go out. When he took his first bite, I could tell he enjoyed it. He said it was some of the best lamb he's had and he's had a lot! It's à la carte, but did come with a tiny bit of salad and a roasted pepper which he thought was perfect. Since I was having the soup we didn't order a vegetable side, which we normally would, but this vegetable garnish worked perfectly for him. Definitely recommended!
