Usually our go to is the Good Seed but it was already closed when we got to this fair city. I could've just gone with a regular coffee but He had to have a latte-so we ordered each oat milk latte. Service is friendly. Nice little gelato & espresso shop with white tables & red chairs. The latte was mostly oat milk & I fail to taste the espresso but it hit the spot with the pistachio & chocolate pastry from Mortensen. I didn't really expect that they would do a latte justice because clearly they specialize in gelato. Summing it up how neat the shop is & the friendly service, a 3 star rating is standard. Oh and apparently it's a wine tasting room, not today it isn't lol

It's a cute little shop with no tables inside, but a nice outdoor area, that is shared with the other businesses surrounding it. They had a lot of great flavors, but my daughter and I decided on Pistachio - it was really good. Nice and creamy with a great pistachio flavor! Alessio Artisanal Gelato prides themselves on real ingredients, real flavors and real fun. They also offer new flavors every week! Staff were also really friendly and helpful too! If you're looking for a sweet treat, I would definitely stop in and check out Alessio Artisanal Gelato if you're in the mood for something other than a bakery!

They also put on whipped cream, which I opted to skip. There's a small patio for seating, but I wandered around state street. The ice cream was pretty delicious, so creamy and tasty. The only thing is that my strawberry and cream over flavored the caramel. So I ate them one side at a time (lol). Next time, I will pick other flavors that mesh better. Definitely a must try when you're on state street. They also have a ton of vegan options, which looked really good.
