Cons: - The hair dryer was missing from the bag labeled "hair dryer," and no one answered the phone at the front desk. We walked to the front desk to ask for a hair dryer and received a replacement. But once we got back to the room, that replacement didn't work and had to go back again for another hair dryer (which finally worked, yay~). - Shower water temperature didn't get very hot. Even at max temp, it was just barely hot. And I don't really take hot showers if it's not winter! The water pressure was okay, not weak but wouldn't call it strong either. - Room temperature was inconsistent. The thermostat wasn't accurate. I now travel with a portable thermometer (I'm a picky sleeper!), and the adjusting the thermostat would result in overshooting in either direction. It affected my sleep but I could also tell during waking hours. - House keeping didn't come clean one day. We came back in the evening so decided it was too late to call them to turnover the room. - Beds are too soft for firm mattress lovers. MT got some back pain by the end of our 4 night stay. - Toiletries downgraded from the last stay. Now they have Marriott-branded toiletries (not a big deal for me except for the lotion, since it didn't do much to hydrate my skin + tiny bottle). - The restroom door didn't slam shut this time, yay! Pros/improvements: - Still happy they have a relatively sizeable gym, which now has wipes! But there weren't any floor mats to use for floor exercises / stretching. - Big free parking lot. Never had issues finding a spot. There were also EV chargers available. - There were full sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash bottles in the shower instead of tiny disposable ones-- hooray! Would be great if there was a full sized lotion bottle as well. Service was nice when we spoke to the front desk in person on checking in and for a hair dryer. There were too many slip ups to call this a smooth stay. We stayed here since we try to stick with the Marriott line of hotels, but I may try out another hotel next time.

It's a quick drive to downtown and most of the surrounding area, easy if you're exploring the wineries nearby. Rates were fair for the modern and clean quality of the place. They have a large free lot with no issues with parking. There's a pool and hot tub outside too. Check in and check out was easy, all the staff was friendly. The bartender was also very nice when I asked for glassware for the room. The room itself was good - clean, modern, nice view. This is a sufficient place to meet your needs if staying in Petaluma. It's central but requires driving everywhere. I would stay here again.

Soo loved my stay here, my room was upstairs, loved the wood floor, the bed was so inviting and fluffed with such pretty comforter and incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, nice clean towels and a thoughtful black small towel for makeup so guests don't ruin the white towels. The entire place was unbelievably clean and the complementary breakfast was superb. We had a delicious strawberry and banana crepe with whip cream and Nutella, hard boiled eggs and the slow drip coffee was such a cute touch. I didn't know what to do and the nice lady behind the counter was kind enough to show me. There is plenty of seating inside as there are outside. Just the cutest place in the back with bicycles lined up on the side, red and blue tables and chairs with umbrellas. Would love to come back and stay here for a few days. Both places were beautifully decorated and furnished. They were also exceptionally clean. The kitchens in both places were very well equipped for gourmet cooking. Just a couple examples of unexpected food prep and entertainment equipment are coffee grinders, food scales, large serving plates, and extensive stemware for wine. Very unexpected supplies included whole bean coffee, fresh fruit and two bottles of wine. There are also a large number of toys and sports equipment in the garages. My son brought his own golf clubs and got in a round of golf while we were there, but the Wineberry Lodge has two sets of golf clubs in the garage in case someone does not want to transport their own clubs. The site is beautiful and located in a very convenient area for golf, wine tasting, and in my case about a three-minute drive from the Vine Hill House wedding venue Heidi was a wonderful host. I highly recommend either or both of Wineberry Lodge and Blackberry Cottage for a wine country getaway.

Check-in staff very friendly and quick and offered a complimentary upgrade. Room was spotless (King suite), 2nd floor, and roomy with a separate seating area from the bedroom. Not a lot of choices on the TV, but you can log into a variety of streaming services so bring your login info! No bar! So BYOB. There is a charge of $7 for parking BUT they have a fella that walks the lot at night which is well lit. Super cozy lobby that I would have gladly curled up in with a book and just chill as there wasn't a soul around when we checked in around 6pm, save for the front desk person. Very yummy breakfast choices in the morning, from eggs, to sausage, fruit, cereal, Otis S. muffins, bagels, strong coffee, tea... you aren't want for anything. The staff were everywhere in the AM, cleaning the pool, the rooms, blowing leaves from the edges of the property, etc. Neat little market by the front desk that caters to any level of snackage/craving! As for the positives, the rooms are all very clean, spacious, and comfortable with amenities like kitchenettes and seating areas. The building is also a very short walk to the downtown square with plenty of shopping and restaurants. There was also a nice common space that had continental breakfast items for grab and go. However, I found that some of the customer service was lacking, and this was very dependent on who was behind the front desk. We had one person who was pretty unhelpful and got annoyed when we asked about accessing parking or if they would be willing to hold bags behind the desk, but when we came back later, there was a different person, and they were very helpful. In addition, this isn't a resort, so they don't have amenities like a gym/pool or dining onsite, but that's expected. I would probably stay here again based on the rooms and location. It's a great option for a longer, economical, comfortable stay.

Parking was 25 dollars over night but there is also metered parking on the streets. Lots of bars and brew pubs in the area as well as a card shop next door which I enjoyed. Definitely would recommend if you're stopping for the night and enjoy extra room and very nice and kind hotel staff.

The room itself was clean, and the beds were quite comfortable, making for a good night's sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool and hot tub. We had the entire area to ourselves, which made it extra relaxing. My only suggestion would be larger pool towels--it's hard to dry off with a hand towel than a bath towel! Breakfast was surprisingly good. The filled croissants were absolutely delicious and quickly became my favorite part of the morning. There were a couple of minor inconveniences. The automatic bathroom lights were a bit annoying, especially when they turned on unexpectedly. Also, getting a luggage cart was quite a challenge. We waited nearly two hours without any luck until a maintenance man kindly stepped in and helped us. I didn't have the opportunity to attend the evening reception, but several people told me it was very good. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. While there are a few areas that could use improvement, the comfortable room, relaxing pool and spa, and tasty breakfast made for a pleasant experience. I'd consider staying again.
