I have driven by Tammy's Beauty Salon for years! In need of a new barber because mine retired, I stopped in at Tammy's. A walk-in. I was greeted and treated astoundingly well. I felt like I had been going there for years. I was greeted immediately by one of Tammy's stylists. A beautiful young lady, smiling and accomodating. She checked everyone's schedule immediately. Everyone had appointments coming in, then Tammy piped in and said she could take me right away because her next appointment was her best friend and they would understand that a new customer would take priority. I am amazed, the quality of service that I thought was long gone in today's world is alive and kicking at Tammy's Salon on Bodega Avenue. Hi my name is Catalina and this is the first review I write :-) let me tell u I just love love love what they have done to my hair. I'm so glad I got the courage to dye my hair. I had really dark hair now I have really beautiful multi color light browns with blondes and love it. Tammy and Ashley are just awesome and worked together to make me happy. Wasn't too happy with the first process so I came back the next day to get it redone at no extra charge. I would definitely recommend this salon to anyone and they are so sweet made me feel welcome with my 4year old son. First salon I've ever seen with a play area. I'm definitely going to keep coming back just Sooooo happy with their work and great atmosphere very welcoming sweet girls here. I would have never guessed such a great place like Tammy's Beauty Salon would be stashed away on the outskirts of town. I guess to keep the riff raff out! All the people there are so nice, accommodating, and very skilled at what they do. I used to go into the City to get my hair done. The other places I tried in town were to cliquey and stuck up. The quality of skill didn't match quality of the furniture I sat on, that's for sure. At Tammy's you can get everything from Color Corrections to Hair Straightening. I used to pay over $1000. Now I pay $500! Yes, for the exact same techique. My hair looks fabulous. I also get my manicures and pedicures done there too. I just had to share my experiences. Tammy's is a real find, if you know where to look. Tammy and her friendly staff offer the best combination of a full service (hair, facials, massage, nails) beauty salon with friendly, personalized country care. The prices are low (There's even a student discount!), the quality is good, and they are willing to think outside the box- I'm a college student who experiments regularly with new hairstyles and cuts and I always go to Tammy's when I'm in town. I've been a blonde, a redhead, and a brunette; I've had hair past my shoulder blades, pixie cuts, and a mohawk and though I may not be the typical Tammy's customer, they are always happy to have fun with my cut. I moved up to Petaluma over a year ago and have been looking for a new and trusted salon. I have found such a place in Tammy's! The moment I walked in the girls were super friendly and helpful with helping me pick out my color choices!! They picked the most beautiful and complimentary color combinations for my hair and skin type, plus they knew what I was talking about and what I wanted!! I love these girls!! They did an awesome job pics to come!! The place is super clean, sterile and cozy. It makes you feel at home and not like you walked into a big, cold corporate chain place. ive probably got the best massage ever at tammy's! i am a 18 year old boy that plays baseball and football and after my hard long seasons i always come to tammy's to get a massage to relax my muscles and i can feel as good as new. i have been to many places to get massages but tammy's has been the best one so far no doubt about it. you will feel so relaxed and calmed after you get one. and it feels amazing you will never want it to stop. My hair stylist is Ashley. She is very professional, talented and enthusiastic about her work. I always enjoy coming in to see her! She turned my hair (which was damaged from a previous dye job at a different salon) from dark brown to a perfect shade of blonde! I was so pleased with the job she did! Jenna is an amazing artist when it comes to hair. I have had Extensions in one form or another for almost 20 years and my hair was completely shot. It was broken it was uneven. It was just a mess and Jenna was able to completely transform my hair. My extensions look so natural. You wouldn't even know that they're there plus they've lasted for almost 4 months. I've had no problems whatsoever. I can't think her enough. She does a great job and she has me as a client for life. read more

I heard about Stephanie from a friend, all though I already had a nail person. I decided to give her a try and I am so happy I did!!! She is AMAZING! Since switching to her, my acrylics dont break, and I can go 3 weeks before I need a fill. I also love that she doesnt use the drill, she does all the filing by hand. Im the mom if a teenage boy that suffers from teen acne. I talked him into goin to Denise for a facial. she was able to get rid of all his pimples on his face.
