Red curry with shrimp & jasmine rice
    Julia M.

Excellent food, atmosphere, and service! I aattended a company luncheon here on Friday and the servers took excellent care of us. We started with an assortment of appetizers and they were all delish! For my entree I selected red curry with shrimp & jasmine rice. I was very happy with the taste and quality of the food. Would most definitely come back anytime I am in the area.

We wanted to try this place for a long time. A friend came in from florida perfect time to go. The service was amazing, Our waiter was super knowledgeable and everything he suggested was spot on. Can't wait to go back again. would recommend this to anyone who love thai cuisine..

Absolute unique, upscale jewel in the main core of Lexington! The chef is incredibly creative. One thing I appreciate is a taster/amuse bouche that the kitchen sends to start. The interior design is beautiful, sexy. Date nights are awesome here. The bar is all the way in the back, the bartender I had for first visit was great & wish I could remember his name. Brought wife back for restaurant week and we had a lovely server named Khong who was very polished, but also picked up that we like fun & personality in our servers, so she was pleasantly playful too. The food is not only presented in a beautiful & unique way, the flavors are fantastic - deep rich curries, light&citrusy green papaya salad. Everything is so well done. We drive over an hour to come here & it is worth every visit.

Incredible. Food is always to die for and the staff is always on top of their game. Very relaxed but upscale ambiance. Great for date night or group setting. Drinks are also fantastic! A must have in Lexington.

Fabulous. Every detail of this restaurant is well thought out to make an excellent experience. The food was beautiful and delicious. The ambience was upscale but not ostentatious. Our server was knowledgeable and personable, helping us with pronunciation and accommodating food allergies. Wonderful place!

Proof of reservation being cancelled by restaurant just before 10 pm the night before New Year's.

Was here on November 4th and got a curry. The ambiance is charming but neither the service nor the food was noteworthy. However, we have friends that really like Thai so we booked a reservation here for New Year's Eve (2025). At just before 10 pm the night before, they call and say they cannot accommodate us. Exactly where am I supposed to find a place to eat with that short of notice? Nobody's even open right now to try and find another dinner spot. It is shocking to be treated so shabbily by a company. Thanks for ruining our New Year's Eve plans.

Random dinner because the other restaurant was closed... Upon entering the vibe is very mellow nice for a intimate setting but I'm out on the town with my cousin lol... the dim lit building with the jazz calms the soul. I started with Toong Tong appetizer. Portion was small lol but tasty nothing to rave over but good. The chef also prepared complimentary carrot and jasmine rice bisque and it was amazing ..The flavors were very good and had a hit of sweetness .. For my entree I ordered Duck with the Khao Soi curry noodle soup, shallot, pickled green mustard and cilantro .... So I wasn't planning on having a cocktail but my cousin ordered and ole fashion with the smoke theatrics lol ... not to mention in the bathroom not only soap they have a citrus hand scrub lol .... Back to the food ... my Duck was AMAZINGGGGGG ... cooked perfectly .. the waiter Daniel suggested the correct spice level and add the extra spice on the side ... if you get the Duck cut it off the bone in pieces and mix everything up ... thank me later ... after careful consideration I gave in for desert crème brûlée with the strawberry gelato .. this will be a first ...and for a first time it did not disappoint .... But that damn Daniel ... has to be the best waiter I've had in a longgggggg time ... I will be back SOON

I love Thai food but this place was just underwhelming. The food was fine nothing wrong with it but it didn't have that wow factor. Decor and service was absolutely great however!

Yes it is delicious but be prepared to spend a lot of money at dinner time. Try it out for lunch. Better pricing on a limited select menu.

From the moment we pulled up, the exterior set the tone -- very clean and inviting. Even with the Friday night rush, the hostess was warm and welcoming and got us seated quickly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. Our waitress was outstanding. She was attentive without being overbearing, checked on us consistently, and helped guide us through the menu with great recommendations. We started with the lobster spring rolls and a salmon roll. The spring rolls were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with large chunks of lobster -- not skimpy at all. The salmon roll was some of the freshest sushi I've had in a long time. For my entrée, I ordered the walnut shrimp. The shrimp were gigantic, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was so good I literally slapped the table. No shame. We will absolutely be back. If you're looking for great Asian fusion with excellent service and fresh ingredients, Antai delivers.

One thing that immediately stood out to me is they are called Hokkaido raamen, but dont have Hokkaido raamen (Hokkaido raamen tends to be buttery with seafood.. but there are many variations). The pros: very friendly staff that didnt charge me extra for a sprinkle of cilantro. Clean place and well presented food. The cons: noodles are way too soggy. Good raamen needs to be much firmer. The chashu (por) for the price of the dish should have been the size of my fist, but was more the size of a couple thin slices of Canadian bacon. The temperature was also luke warm. Ramen needs to be hot hot hot (forgivable though because I imagine a lawsuit if it b was served as its supposed to be) Overall: way too over priced for what it is. I would say this is a $7 bowl of raamen. Don't get me wrong... it was tasty... but heavily price gouged. Alas.. this is kind of par for course for raamen stateside. I might go here once or twice a year... its like having a fast food burger that costs 20$.. the burger may be great but the price drains the flavor.

First, the staff were friendly and the service was great. Second, the restaurant was clean and food was plated beautifully. That brings me to the food. Everything was cooked to the perfect temperature and texture and looked amazing. Smelled amazing. The taste however was flat. I ordered my meal medium for spice and it was not spicy at all. The garlic sauce was very thin and overall just not flavorful. No bright herbal notes, no deep umami flavors, not even much of a garlic presence. Just perfectly cooked, bland chicken and veggies. I had the same issue with my satay. The chicken was perfectly grilled and juicy but without the sauces it had zero flavor. The sauces however saved my meal. The sauces get 5 stars. The peanut sauce was sweet and salty and perfect. The cucumber did was bright and flavorful. The chilli dip that came with the spring roll was also great. The spring roll was also very good. Perhaps some of the other dishes offer up a bit more flavor and seasoning but I doubt I will be back. When I want Thai food I'm expecting bright vibrant and spicy flavors but my overall meal was just sort of bland. The staff clearly knows how to cook but missed some seasoning for my preference.

The menu promises the ability to make most menu items vegetarian or vegan with tofu. I opted for a tofu kebab dish which isn't commonly offered. Grilling is a delicious way of preparing tofu, and theirs was marinated in something that was tasty and salty. Like most of their menu options, this came over garlic sautéed green beans, which is fine by me, with a small portion of rice (the option was given to just do green beans if you don't want the carbs). My appetizer was some cabbage-heavy spring rolls, which I'm fine with as it brings balance to the meal, which came with some very powerful sweet chili and mustard sauces. There aren't a ton of places to go in South Carolina for Chinese food, let alone vegetarian friendly. Even on a Monday, this place was doing solid takeout business with the occasional person eating in, and I would certainly recommend it over most plausible alternatives.
