Chicken and Waffles- fried crispy bone in chicken is yue only way to go. My teen son eat every crumb. Avocado Toast with egg and smoked salmon - my husband loved it. Avocado Egg Bake - cooked perfectly and so good. Buttermilk pancakes for fluffy and great flavor. They offer real maple syrup, bananas foster syrup if you're fancy and then regular (fake) syrup.

Again, such a shame and disappointment that such a lovely property in a great location is so poorly run. Has lots of potential but unfortunately failed to meet that potential for us. Just a few quick notes: 1) The bagels are "real." Simple, classic recipe, with no preservatives or fats. Made in-house. Boiled before baking. Baked on a five-shelf bagel oven, the centerpiece of each store's kitchen. If we could somehow pipe the liquid gold from the reservoirs in the Adirondacks into our stores, we'd be as New York as a Magnolia cupcake. 2) Every item on the menu is available all day long, except for: dinner omelets (4-8 pm); soup (after 9 AM or so). Deli sandwiches, egg bagels, salads, and bulk bagels can be ordered any time we're open. 3) Apologies for the unfriendly experience, Kim. Overhyped and Underwhelming I had high hopes when I saw the line wrapping around the store, but my experience at this bagel restaurant left me disappointed. The anticipation built by the long queue was quickly shattered by the low-quality butter and honey they used. It's astonishing that a place with such hype could skimp on basic ingredients. Moreover, the bagels were just too salty for my liking. I appreciate a savory kick, but this was excessive. I left with a lingering taste of salt that overshadowed any enjoyment I might have had. Perhaps my visit was on an off day, but based on my experience, I can't understand the hype surrounding this place. I have been told that their sandwiches are better and that their bagels are actually meant for those (the last refuge of a coward bagel maker, but I digress), so I ordered a sandwich. I ended up with a roast beef and horseradish bagel, but in some perverse nod to tradition, my bagel came with meat and a large dollop of white chrain (raw horseradish). That was all. The herb of affliction, rather than the nice horseradish sauce that I expected. I'd rather go to Arby's. I respect all restauranteurs. Feeding people is difficult ands often thankless work. So, I don't often leave negative reviews. However, I can no longer remain silent while people claim Bodos is good.

It's a long rectangular pizza which is already prepared, and you point out how much you want of it and they slice it off for you. Mine was handed to me not warmed up, which was odd to me but was clearly an intentional choice so I just went with it. The two pizzas I tried-a garlicky one with ample mushrooms and a mouthwatering pesto-both delivered amply on flavor at room temperature. The foccacia-style crust was more filling than I anticipated, which is good, because paying by weight did not make it cheap. The hours here are limited to mostly lunch, but the quality was high enough that I was glad I made the stop.
