Didn't let my bulldog in the facility, he wasn't bothering no one. He was overheating because they made us wait outside. Rude people working there On top of that, the bagels are a little worse than mid. One of the worst lox I've had, bagels have no flavor. If you want a real good bagel go to "the lox" in Columbus, Ohio. That's real bagel. Bad experience here will not be coming back

    Nice soft bagel.

Long line which I guess is normal. We enjoyed what we had but not sure I'd go out of my way for that line again. The line did move fast and service was pretty quick. We had to stake out a table but the inside was also packed. It was a weekend. We had sausage egg and cheese on everything bagel it was good.

Bodos is just as good as I remember. My old faves are still amazing! All of their bagels are great and their herb cream cheese is my favorite! I also enjoy their pastrami sandwich on a plain bagel with horseradish and a bunch of other toppings. LOVE YOU BODOS!

New York Bagles in Cville. The band cranks out orders. You order at the counter and they call you when your foods ready. It is a nice restaurant with tables. I had cream cheese and lox on an everything bagel--delicious and as good as any deli in Manhattan or Queens.

The best. I mean really that's all you need to know. There can be lines but they also move quickly here. There are lots of options beyond just bagel and cream cheese. Our overall favorite is the tuna with watercress, lettuce, tomato and onion. However we did try one with the herb cream cheese, cucumber, tomato, pepper spread and watercress on whole wheat everything. It was good and a great vegetarian option. The tuna is still the favorite.

This is my favorite bagel place! Consistent in quality and always delicious! I highly recommend a bacon, egg, cheese, and avocado on an everything bagel.

Best deal in town, the prices can't be beat! I'm loyal to the garlic bagel but mix it up between the chicken salad (they use turkey) and the honey pecan cream cheese. Recently tried the capocolla with lettuce tomato and onion and I think that may be my new lunch order. Even if the wait is long the line moves quick. I love sitting by the windows in this location for all that light.

Bodo's is very popular in Charlottesville for good reason. The bagels are fresh and tasty, and their assortment of toppings is exceptional. On my most recent visit, I ordered the egg everything bagel with egg and bacon. I realized after the fact that I probably should've ordered cheese on it as well, but it was good as-is. I also ordered a bagel with blueberry cream cheese, as well as a side of their herbed cream cheese to go. You can't really go wrong with whatever you order here. Service is friendly; the line is long but efficiently organized.

The line was so long but moved so fast! The bagels were simple yet delicious. The plain bagel with blueberry cream cheese was so messy - beware! Tonsss of cream cheese just dripping out. Inside felt like an old Wendy's. Would definitely come back for a quick, yummy, and cheap breakfast spot!

Cinnamon-Raisin Honey and Butter Egg Bagel with Ham or Bacon Everything

Jameson: I ordered a bacon egg and cheese and it was delicious. Very fast delivery of food. Customer service was could use some work. Wesley: The cinnamon raisin with honey and butter was exquisite. The style of decor and interior adds to it. Ambience and music could use some work. Bella: Immediately when I arrived I was gripped by the fact that the line was out of the door. I thought to myself, "wow this must be a GREAT bagel!" However my experience was somewhat thwarted by the ordering experience, I was somewhat confused on what I wanted however felt rushed to order. There were so many really great options that I was so overwhelmed and quickly order a plain bagel with turkey, egg, and sprouts. Good bagel, nothing special though, however I believe it was more of a user error. I would have maybe gotten a spread to add more flavor. Would definitely come back, and maybe be more prepared with my order!! Fia: From the moment I stepped foot into Bodo's Bagels, I was inspired by the abstract, creative environment. The menu had a variety to choose from, which personally was not an ideal for me but is for most people. The customer service could have been friendlier but the speed at which they got the bagels out made up for it. I was amazed by how quickly they made my bagel, despite the amount of orders. My everything bagel with bacon and egg was incredible. The glossy crust was a clear representation of the New York style bagels. It was obvious that the boil before bake method was used. Thank you Bodo bagels for the experience. Although, I hope that whenever I come next, the speakers are on

Such a great bagel shop!!! Stopped by on Sunday late morning and even though there was a line it moves quickly. Also once you order they have a very efficient system of getting you your food and drinks. Inside there is lots of seating and it was packed. We got our food to-go, so didn't have to worry about getting a seat. Now onto the food and drinks: Everything bagel with honey pecan cream cheese was so good!!! Husband enjoyed a cinnamon raisin with butter. Also the chicken salad (they use turkey) was so good on a sesame bagel! The chicken salad has great flavor and I had lettuce and tomato on it and it was so good! Husband had s coffee and I had a lemonade! This is a must stop in Charlottesville for all your bagel needs!

I see why everyone loves Bodo's, it's just freaking delicious. As a first timer I was confused as to where the line started since there were sooooo many people ordering/waiting. Once you figure that you the line moves very quickly. Since the menu is bagels and sandwiches the food is also prepared pretty quickly. I love that they make the bagels fresh throughout the day, so they seemed to be well stocked. I went for a classic everything bagel with plain cream cheese (that they make in house) and it did not disappoint. My friend got their lox with herb cream cheese and loved it as well. Bonus points for having coke zero and homemade seltzer!

Good solid bagels with really good cream cheese. The lox item isn't worth the up charge concerning they give you just a single piece of lox.

Chicken and Waffles- fried crispy bone in chicken is yue only way to go. My teen son eat every crumb. Avocado Toast with egg and smoked salmon - my husband loved it. I didn't feel guilty having a chocolate espresso martini for breakfast:) Bananas Foster Beignets was ridiculous! Benedict options were so unique. I recommend asking questions to make sure you're getting what you want. Hindsight I would have added protein to the green tomato Benedict. We also got a bowl that was much more like a salad and not like a hearty bowl. All were delicious, just not what was expected. We would return for sure!

The bar, front desk, valet and pool just steps away. The staff were like family and accommodations very comfortable. Squeaky clean hardwood floors all over. Tasteful old furniture. Every staff member I spoke to was polite, courteous, and happy to help. The self serve stations for hot coffee, tea, and cold water was a convenient resource outside of the door. This inn appears to be made of several former homes that were turned into a campus of buildings making the Oakhurst Inn. It's not a single building. The small lawn in the center of the complex has benches, hammock, and a fireplace that seems welcoming and nice, but I wasn't aware of them until I left. There were a few problems during my stay. The inn requires guests to use valet parking which is $40 per night, not disclosed before my stay, and often required a long wait for the valet to return. This makes it hard to retrieve anything you need from your car. The front desk staff are often missing from the front desk - I had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come back and check me in on arrival. Likewise, the bartender is often away from station and you might wait 10 or 30 minutes for the bartender to return. There is no mini fridge or microwave in the hotel rooms. The pool area was extremely dark at night, making it tricky or dangerous to navigate. The pool water was lukewarm, not warm at all. The sauna was out of order and the doorway was small and obscured by chairs. Not accessible and difficult to find. This inn has no gym. The lobby is very small and has no seating for guests or places to hang their luggage, although the nearby lounge has a few leather couches and a fireplace that doesn't appear to be working. Not the most welcoming or convenient. Overall I don't think it's worth the hefty price tag and would stay elsewhere when I return to Charlottesville.
