BFS has the most Professional, admirable, and respectable work you could ever ask for. I have had my Toyota 4Runner in my family since 1999 when we first bought it brand new. I took my truck there after my first major fender bender and they made my truck like new. I have had ZERO issues from their work from the first time they fixed my truck 2 YEARS ago. 1 month ago now in the year 2023, I had another collision where my frame was bent, and doors destroyed from a speeding driver. I brought my truck to BFS again and within 2 WEEKS, my truck looked even better than before, as if the accident Never even happened. Not only did they put my old driver and rear driver window back (which had the tint so I didn't get it re-tinted) they even put the window visors with new 3M tape and cleaned my interior so when I got it back it really seemed Brand New.They do beautiful frame work and they have even better service. I could tell he's a super friendly and detail oriented guy, from the start. I left my spoiler here and returned a few days later when it was painted. While my car was being worked on I waited in the office as manuel and I had a good conversation about cars, he offered me drinks and before I knew it my car was done. I took my Acura MDX to Manual that had front end damage. I bought the car damaged but underestimated that there was frame damage. After several discussions with Manual I knew that he was the guy to do the job I had my MDX towed there and he gave me a very fair estimate. When I was referred to Manuel at BFS by another body shop that I have been dealing with for more than 30+ years to bring my Lexus LX470 to for frame repairs, I was a bit reluctant at first, however, after meeting and talking to the Owner Manuel at this shop when I arrived there, I immediately felt comfortable and know they know what they are doing when it comes to frame repairs on a car or a truck, and that this shop will be able to repair the cracked suspension bracket that was attached to the frame of my SUV. And to my complete surprise, I got a call from Manuel much faster than I expected the next day, and I was told by him that after they took the suspension apart and inspected it, they discovered that the bracket on the front passenger side of my SUV was so badly cracked that the metal on this plate has completely lost its integrity, beyond repairs, and it had to be replaced. And since this part is not available even from the Lexus Dealer, unless you spend thousands of dollars and buy the entire frame.Manuel offered to manufacture an identical plate for it, and cut the cracked piece from the frame and weld the newly custom made bracket plate back on the frame. Manuel even e-mailed me pictures with detailed explanation and estimate for the repairs. They even inspected the driver side bracket that was repairable, and repaired it together with replacing some of the old and rusted links on the suspension at no extra cost to me, and the job was completed in only 2 days, which is a major accomplishment because this was a big suspension/frame repair job. And I picked up my SUV yesterday and during my 20 minute drive home, it no longer felt mushy, in fact, it felt so tight and it drove and handled so smoothly that I felt like I was driving a brand new SUV, and this is a 10+ year old SUV. And by the time I got home Manuel already e-mailed all the before and after repairs pictures that he showed me on his computer at the shop when I went to pick up my car. What other shops do you know that do that? Amazing! If you need body work or frame repairs for your car or truck, I highly recommend that you bring your car to this shop in Santa Clara, even if you live in San Francisco or Sacramento, because you will be glad you did! BFS owner Manuel Ramos is a guy you could trust with your life - he is that dependable and committed to his profession! Today, I brought my 2005 Nissan Pathfinder into BFS for repair after being rear ended on H101 last week. Manuel said he'd do his best to finish the work by the end of the day. To my surprise, he called me at 1:40pm saying "Alan, the car is ready and I'm coming over to pick you up." He was at my street 5 minutes later and took me to his shop. I was a bit skeptical initially but agreed to let them repair. Since the bus hit my front end of car, the car was badly damaged. I managed to somehow driver my car to the body shop. While driving i noticed that it had not only damaged my front end of car but also the smooth acceleration was no more. The hit of the bus has also caused affected the internal of the car somehow and affected its smooth acceleration. Now i go to this body shop. The owner Ramos said that everything will be done in 2 days. I was like surprised. How can all these be done so soon and in perfect manner. I gave my car n left for home. I was very skeptical now whether they will do my car proper. I went online and read reviews. all these 5 starts are confusing. There was only 1 star from Nicole and her review worried me. After 2 days, i got a message from insurance company that the car has been done and is ready to be picked up. I went in and saw that the car was brand new. All parts replaced and car cleaned up. i was impressed and promised him that i would too give a 5 star rating. I left his body shop and started driving home. Heres the sad part. The car smoothness was not perfect as it was before the accident. But it was better than the time i drove the damaged car to body shop. I could sense rough acceleration and immediately called up the insurance company that it is not as smooth as it was. I will have to check with my trusted body shop and they will suggest me if there is anything wrong in it. The insurance company agreed and i am going this weekend to correct my car. 1 star for the cleanliness and parts replaced. Later found out that they charged 3500 for the parts replaced. Physical appearance is taken care of but who is going to take care if the car is good from inside too. i had my gas near to empty and i had checked my miles when i left the car at the body shop. When taking my car back, the miles was still the same. They had not done a test drive before starting the work and had not done a test drive after finishing it. How can you fix a car when u had not driven and seen what the damage has been. I would suggest you to go to a better car shop instead of this. If you need to just wash your car and replace some car parts, then this is fine. dont expect them to work on the internal damage of car. Save your time in something better. read more

Since I needed to start repairs that week Manual opened up the shop on Sunday which is their typical day off. I dropped off the car and completed the paperwork . No, no, no! Once again I have learned that you can not trust reviews on Yelp to be accurate when there is not one bad review. Manny, I am so terribly disappointed in you and the outcome of the so called repairs to my vehicle. Here is the break down starting from the first thing I noticed to the last- My car was ransacked-glove compartment, center counsel, my personal belonging gone through and some destroyed. Personally violated! Minutes after leaving- dead and drained battery. Was a 2 year old battery with 5 year warranty. It was healthy before it was in your hands! An hour after leaving engine light on- how did you manage my car when it was in your care? Alignment terribly off and entire car unstable/ wobbly feel when driving- did you even inspect the frame of my vehicle? Bad body work, can clearly see marks and inaccuracies! Looks like a bad car model put together with glue! Tire turned inside so I would not see that it was not retreaded or replaced. Whoa!!!!! Paint on my seat. Am going to have to have my car pulled apart again to inspect axel repair and other supposed work done to ensure safety and longevity of my vehicle. Well, after five weeks of dealing with insurance company and the fact that you began repairs without mine or adjusters go ahead. were you forced to do cheap and unacceptable repairs? A few other important facts... No communication at important crossroads through the entire process. My car was not perfect but I did not deserve another wrong. My car should have been returned back to the condition it was in before it was hit. It's worse off. My advice to thd public is if you really need honest good help/work, go somewhere else. read more

Now that I have my Lincoln Mark V for awhile body trim it starting to pull away from the body. Come to find out that the trim was glued to the body with doubled stick tape some of the trim is loose. Even though the car is 20 years old, it has been well-cared for and has sentimental value, so I wanted to get it repaired. My GTR was hit by a metal bar that flew out off a construction truck in the freeway and caused the bar to hit directly in my front bumper making a huge hole and damaging my aftermarket carbon fiber front lip. His knowledge, professionalism, and obsession with perfection assured me my car would get repaired right. After 2 weeks ( dealer parts only cause GTR) my car was returned back to me and he even went out His way and removed some door dings I had accumulated through time at no extra charge! This will be my go-to place for any auto body repairs. The front reflector from my X5 popped out after a minor scrape. Mr. Ramos checked it out and said it had been badly stuck together by a major bodyshop last year instead of being replaced. He ordered new pair of reflectors and charged me only half hour of labor. The total amount was a third of the estimates given by 2 other bodyshops in the area. Mr. Ramos is a very nice person and kept a good conversation going while we waited for my car to be fixed.
