I have been coming to The Body Centre for many years. Kim Smith is my go-to massage therapist. She always knows how to address any issue I am facing with back and neck problems, and muscle aches. She is a good listener and adjusts my massage according to what's going on with me physically at the moment. She is a top notch professional, and I always leave feeling better. For me it's definitely therapy and maintenance that I need. But it's also definitely a spa experience, and I feel spoiled when I come to the Body Centre. First time client experience. I searched and read reviews for surrounding areas and found this spa in Fullerton. I have really bad shoulder/upper back pain and I had researched cupping and wanted to try it. Their website was glitchy so I called to make an appointment, and someone called me back within an hour. They matched me up with Jenna, who specializes in cupping during massage or after. I chose to book a couples massages so my husband can enjoy too. We arrived just in time for our appointment and they took us right away. My husband was paired with Miriam and I was with Jenna. Jenna was wonderful! She asked me a lot of questions to make sure she understood where she wanted me to focus. She did focus on those areas, and even made a comment on where most of knots were which was the exact spots in which I have daily pain at. She worked them out very well and focused on the area. She used the right amount of pressure to work out my problem areas. She used hot towels and used stretches that hurt but in a good way. She also checked in with me throughout the massage and cupping. As a first time cupping experience, I didn't know what to expect. I did enjoy it , and my back does feel better than before my appointment. We did upgrade with CBD oil as well. The massage was good!! We did a couples massage 60 min with Mariam (she did my pregnancy massage) and Oui (she did full body massage for my husband). Reservation: I reserved the massage one day before, called them to ask questions about the different kinds of massages, and specified that I wanted a couples massage but specifically "pregnancy massage" for me (the lady I spoke with said they can accommodate this, but the price is $170 per couple, which is $85/60 min for me, and slightly more than the individual pregnancy massage) Parking: not great!! There's a small lot in the back, but it is small and tight Check in: ok - we gave our name, waited a few min, then were called in. Our therapists were not aware that I was pregnant, so it took a few minutes to set up for this. The massage: good!! We both enjoyed our massage and massage therapists - I particularly liked that Mariam modified her technique when I told her my shoulder was hurting. It was a very relaxing experience and we would go back again. Price: our massage was $170 (for 2, for 60 min). We liked the massage and we tipped each therapist $15, but felt it was a bit pricey. UPDATE Despite what they claim, no one reached out to either myself or my husband. Let me go into fuller detail on what happened. First time at this facility but we wanted to check it out due to all the great reviews. Prior to the massage my husband made sure to let the receptionist know what areas I needed massaged and for a deep tissue for both of us. We walked inside, no one greeted us, or acknowledged us. Eventually the receptionist (which I came to find out later was my massage therapist) came out and aggressively asked if we checked in. Obviously not, but anyway, we booked for the couples massage and the woman rudly snapped that the room is being occupied and sucks for you kinda vibe ( even though we booked it) so she takes me to the back and ask me again what I would like her to target, I told her my shoulder blades because I have so many knots..she agreed and the entire time she barely applied any pressure, completely ignored my shoulder blades(and kept rubbing my arms over and over) I was beyond frustrated and felt like getting up and just leaving but I've never had to do that in a massage place so I didn't know how it would go down. My husband and I met back in the waiting area and he was equally as upset as myself. He got the same treatment, barely any pressure like the therapist didn't give any shits and we were coated in lotion. Came here for a couples massage. Our total was $180 (not including tip) for an hour massage. It was one of the best massages I've ever had. We had Jenna and Janessa working on us and they did an excellent job. The ambiance is calm and friendly. The one thing I would say that is a slight downside is the noise. We were put in the first room right next to the receptionist area. During the massage, the receptionist was talking and laughing quite loud which made the experience a little less peaceful. However, our massage was excellent and we left feeling revived. Overall, the room and bed were clean and comfortable. This place is a hidden gem in Fullerton when it comes to massages. They even gave us a box of chocolate dipped strawberries since it was valentine's day. I highly recommend checking this place out and considering it when looking for a massage. read more

Sounds like everyone there is amazing, but for my first experience I went with Sam, and I can't even imagine asking for anyone else next time. I came in from out of town for a conference, and when it ended early I decided to spend the rest of the day pampering myself. So as per usual, I jumped on yelp and started skimming reviews for local reputable places to get a massage. With quite an admirable reputation, this spot just resonated with me for some reason...and I've learned to trust my gut. So glad I did! My day of personal pampering was decadent!!! 90-mins with Sam wasn't enough time. I wished it would never end! Sam is well-presented, professional, knowledgeable, receptive, and truly has your best interests and needs in mind. My literal words after my massage were, "I feel like a whole new person!". My boyfriend and I went to BodyCenter this weekend. I made an appointment for us as an anniversary gift and we had a wonderful experience. Samuel and Jennifer were our therapists for the hour and did an amazing job massaging. Samuel was able to help my boyfriend with his neck pain that he has been experiencing for months. I was pretty disappointed with my recent massage. I've always had a good experience and have enjoyed this massage therapist before, but this session was such a let down. I came in for a deep tissue massage, but it was more light to medium. I even fell asleep when she was massaging my legs because it felt more of a rubdown. She stopped multiple times during our session (I'm assuming to drink water because I saw her bottle on the shelf). When she told me to get dressed and go to the front, I was still laying on my front. She hadn't even massaged the front of my body yet. I was confused but said okay and noticed after she left that my massage had only lasted for maybe 45 minutes when I booked for an hour. read more

I called New Years Day for a couples massage and was so happy to have found a spot. I had mentioned over the phone that I had a $100 gift card, which they said I could use after the massage. As I parked, I checked my account and saw I had been charged the full $170. I didn't think anything of it, assumed it was normal. I gave my information over the phone to hold the session. The massage was okay, we agreed from the moment we changed back into our clothes that we wouldn't be coming back. My massage went from very little pressure to an elbow being dug into my back. They kept on coming in and out the room, which would ruin our moment as we were left laying there. Towards the end, it did get slower and more relaxing. It was not a bad massage, just not what we hoped for. Nobody asked me prior what I would have liked, so I guess that wasn't communicated. As we walked out, I paid with the gift card and then was asked to pay an extra $100. I told them my account had been charged and they kept denying it, despite having my bank statement right there. It still showed as pending, but after some back and forth we agreed the owner would be in contact with us to figure it out. I was disappointed they would charge my card the full amount, despite the fact I said I had gift cards. I tried my best to be understanding. HOWEVER, I received a call earlier from someone saying I had to go in to still pay???? The charge for $170 went from pending to authorized, so it wasn't a 'hold.' At this point they owed me the $70. They still refused to admit someone charged my card, and I now have to wait for another call back. I try not to assume the worst, but this whole thing seems shady. The fact that I gave my card info in what I assumed was a trusted business, and they still deny the charge. I showed them the statement & they even took a photo of it. It was incredibly disappointing to walk out from a relaxing moment with my boyfriend to have to stand there and deal with this issue. I'd be incredibly careful with this. I've been to many spas before and have never dealt with this issue. It was our first and last time coming. read more

Dee Dee is an excellent massage therapist! She really puts her heart and soul into the massage. She communicates clearly prior to starting the session and checks in appropriately as she goes. I totally trusted her intuition and was so happy I did. She is obviously experienced and very good at what she does. I will absolutely be making more appointments with Dee Dee in the future. She specializes in cranial-sacral, which I don't really know what that means but let me tell you - you want it! Ok, here I go again I just had the most wonderful CBD facial with Britni. The scheduling process was easy she was really flexible, I was able to see her within my time frame. I just want to say this is different than any other facial you'll ever experience the electrifying experience. This isn't your typical basic facial from the hand movements to the different products she used (I enjoyed the products because they weren't fragrant and didn't give me a headache). I loved her music scenery sounds she had playing in the background. At the end of the facial she finishes with a soothing neck massage that about put me to sleep. The customer service is always excellent and the pricing is fair for what they're offering (facials, stones, massages, etc.) Though all the therapists I've seen at this location are wonderful, I highly recommend going to Minjia. I tend to carry my stress in the upper back/shoulder area and Minjia is one of those rare massage therapists that intuitively knows how to treat these 'tense' spots with finesse and the perfect amount of pressure. For something I was so looking forward to, I'm definitely feeling bummed out with my experience, and it has been on my mind all day. I came here December 2019 when I was pregnant and had a great massage therapist! I was so bummed I couldn't remember the gal's name, but I remember how much I enjoyed that experience. I enjoyed it so much, I asked for a gift card here on my last birthday, and finally today had the opportunity to make an appointment last minute to come here. It has been 2 1/2 years since I've came back and I was booked with a new person Gina. I booked a 90 minute for $110 because my gift card had $120 in it. I arrived for my appointment at 9AM, and the front door was still closed. I waited outside for some time until someone finally came and opened the door for me. No biggie, I thought. I then got greeted by my massage therapist who led me to the room and had me get prepared for the massage. It's around 9:10 at this point. My massage starts, and it's going okay. It's not the best one I've had, but I'm trying to enjoy it and truly relax. Towards the end she tells me that it, to get dressed and she'll meet at the front. I got dressed, put my high heels on, checked my phone and saw it barely turned 10:30! So my appt wasn't the full 90 minutes. I've never gone to a massage place where the therapist walks up and collects payment, but again no big deal. She says she sees my gift card on file and that I'm good don't need to pay the service since the gift card will get applied. She then asks if I want to leave a tip for her. I asked her if cash works or if she'd like the remaining $10 on my gift card. She asked for cash, I gave her a $20 and asked her for the change. There was a strange exchange in her facial expression, until I finally got her hint. She looked at me and said "$10 for a 90 minute massage?" And she shook her head side to side at me. Like WHAT?! Gratuity is optional... that left a poor taste for me. I asked her if that was ok and she just stared blankly at me and said "yeah I guess." I mean I didn't have my full 90 minute massage, the massage went okay, and I'm the bad guy? I know so many people who wouldn't have even left a tip if the therapist was late. You don't do that to people. I'm aware from their signs up that the massage therapist are individuals, and any problems need to be addressed directly with them, but I was honestly shocked and I wish I would've said something before leaving. I think I'll choose another therapist or return to the one who had previously done my massage, but as someone who's worked customer service and received tips, I know first hand that one should always be appreciative of the effort. Funds are low for everyone right now and as much as I wish I could've enjoyed this more, I left feeling more stressed at that exchange. read more

Overall really good experience , only reason for a 4 star was they separated us but put us both in rooms with two beds.... we thought we were getting a couples massage. Other than that I would definitely go back. The massage was good. Facility is very clean. And the staff was nice . Parking is a little rough so don't drive a truck here . We came right on time and were helped immediately. I do believe you have to reserve in advance for this place. We signed a form and after were led into a room where you take off your clothes (yes tops and bottoms, you can leave your bottom lingerie if you'd like) but recommend so that you can have the full body massage experience. The whole place felt clean so I had no problem leaving my things on the chairs/table they provide for you.
