Most recently, I went with my spouse, and we had such a wonderful experience overall. Unfortunately, there was one major issue that really affected our visit: I became very sick with what I believe was food poisoning after eating from their kitchen. I experienced significant symptoms for the next couple of days. I reached out to them regarding what happened and was told someone would follow up with me about how they would address the situation or compensate me for the experience. Unfortunately, I still have not heard back. I genuinely love the spa, the atmosphere, and the services, which is why I hope they will take this situation seriously and follow up with me. Just a handful of people. Men's spa area had 3 small pools (hot, warm, cold), dry and steam sauna rooms, and a hidden corner for scrubbing. Showers have shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Changing area with some basic toiletries. They also provide a toothpaste and disposable toothbrush. Common area has 4 side rooms (ice, red clay, salt, and forest). There's places to lie down and lounge and tables with chairs. There's also a kiosk to order food and drinks. You'll hear the sound of waves and gentle instrumental music to help you relax. Overall, enjoyed our experience here and will be back! They have a deal where you can purchase 10 spa entree fees for $300 ($35 per entry otherwise). Entry fee is waived if services are purchased (except for scrub only).

Booking was easy on the website and all their services have a good description to determine what best fits your needs. I had to reschedule my initial appointment, and for that you need to call in. They send you a text reminder, and you must cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid a fee. One special thing to note is if you book a service that's at least an hour, you receive a complimentary foot soak as long if you arrive at least 15 minutes before your appointment. This was a nice touch. When I arrived, Cristina, from the front desk walked me to their quiet room, which has the ultimate relaxation vibes. She was amazing! She had my foot soak ready to go, along with a heated neck wrap and a blanket. On top of that, she made me a delicious vanilla chamomile tea, accompanied by a chocolate. A literal pampering angel. My facial was done by Chasity. She was also so nice and she gave me plenty of time to change and get comfortable in the spa bed. She listened to my skin concerns and tailored the products for my face. Throughout my appointment, she explained each step of the facial. At one point I was so relaxed, I fell asleep. I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Overall, I've had a great experience and continue coming back for a reason. The atmosphere is professional, clean, and relaxing. The treatment rooms have always been clean and organized, the front desk staff is friendly, and I'm always offered water. It's an environment where you can actually disconnect and relax. I've tried several massage add-ons, including hot stones, aromatherapy, and deep tissue, among others. There are plenty of options to customize your massage depending on what you need, and I've found the add-on pricing reasonable. I've also experienced quite a few of their therapists, so here are some recommendations: Maki is one of my favorites if you want firm pressure or have knots and problem areas that need serious attention. She knows how to get in there and work things out--you'll feel it in the best possible way! Lourdes is another standout and is extremely adaptable. She can give you a firm massage when you need it or dial things back for a more relaxing experience. She also offers prenatal massage. Arnold is another great option for firm pressure. For a more relaxing massage, I've had great experiences with Rosalba, Genesis, and Gabrielle as well. Everyone has a slightly different style, which makes it easier to find someone who matches what you're looking for. I also have to mention Samantha, who unfortunately is no longer at this location. She was probably my personal favorite. She somehow combined an incredibly relaxing massage with the ability to find and loosen areas that had been tight for years. I was genuinely disappointed when I had an appointment scheduled and received a call that she was no longer there. I never found out whether she continued doing massage elsewhere, but she was fantastic and deserves recognition. I've also had facials here and have been very happy with those experiences. My one area of feedback is last-minute scheduling changes. In addition to my appointment with Samantha, there have been two or three occasions over the years when I was contacted the same day or within about 24 hours and asked to change an appointment. I understand that people get sick and unexpected things happen, but I think offering a small credit--maybe $10 toward an add-on--when the business has to reschedule someone at the last minute would be a nice way to acknowledge the inconvenience. Overall, though, I'm very impressed with this location. The pricing is competitive and fair, particularly with a membership. You can certainly find cheaper massages elsewhere, but you're getting a different experience here: a private, relaxing environment with professionals who seem passionate about helping people feel better.
