I had stop by earlier only to find that they had closed early, so check their hours first. The ordering process is reminiscent of the food truck: you order and pay at the counter and they call out your name when it's ready. If you eat inside you just take a seat. If you order to go or (as I did) eat at one their outside tables, you stand by It was fairly busy on the Saturday afternoon, so the wait was about 20 minutes, but the order taker was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. We ordered the fires wing plate with potato salad and okra, served with your choice of cornbread or roll. We also ordered it flounder and shrimp plate with collards and Mac and cheese and cornbread (as a Southern boy, you have to have cornbread with collard greens). For drinks, we had sweet tea, which was served in unmarked but sealed bottles. The wings were freshly fried, cooked perfectly, and the sides were very good. The flounder had a few tiny bones, but was generous, freshly prepared and very good. The shrimp were fine, too. Good collards and Mac and cheese, and the cornbread was good, too. It had sugar in it, but wasn't overly sweet. Prices were reasonable, the food was very good. I'd definitely consider them for a future visit. Aside from the fairly long wait for the food, the experience was good. You might want to check out the daily specials (see the attached photo). I have mixed feelings about tipping when the only person you interact with is the one who takes your order and takes your money, especially when presented with a touchscreen that implies percentages over 20%, but there was a small army of staff behind the counter, so I assume the tips are shared and all of them were obviously working hard. Whether it's called "comfort food," "soul food," or "Southern food," this is a solid entry in the Greensboro area.

The lunch hours are from 11 - 2, not sure if there are dinner hours, as well. Same fare as the other 2, street tacos, sopes, burritos, quesadillas, tortas, and gorditas, and the same meats are available - carne asada, pollo, pastor, chorizo, lengua, tripe, carnitas, barbacoa, and pig skin stew. The tacos are $1, and a pretty good taco it is, especially for that price, though I didn't find them as tasty as the ones I've had at the W. Gate City Blvd location - and no radishes here either. Only got the red pepper sauce here, and it is good, and quite hot. Still, this is solid, cheap food on the run. My friend says the Quesa Birrias ($17) were good but they still prefer La Costenita's. Personally I don't like La Costenita's, because the meat and taco shells are extremely dry. But that's why we're all entitled to our opinions and preferences. :) The item that looked like a quesadilla was really tasty and only $7! It reminded me of a taco sandwich lol. The lady that took my order could of been a bit friendlier but I understand most people in NC aren't friendly at all. First off, this isn't just a random food truck. There is such an incredible story behind it. It's run by Gary and his best friend Alex, who have been friends since grade school back in Mexico City, Mexico!! You can feel that deep history in the way they run their business. There's a level of trust, energy, and authenticity that you don't usually see, and it trickles down to the entire team!!!Every employee I interacted with was genuinely happy, welcoming, and proud to be there (which says a lot) especially during these times. They've also set themselves up in some of the best spots around. I visited : 1) Summerfield Farms. 2) Oden Brewing Company. At both locations, you're not just grabbing food, you're getting a whole experience! Plenty of parking, plenty of seating, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Live music, dog friendly. The menu is simple, affordable, and done right. We got to try 4 different tacos, their queso dip, and their churros, and everything delicious! The meat was seasoned to perfection, super juicy, and full of flavor without being overcomplicated. But what really made this experience unforgettable? I got invited onto the truck to make my own churros!! let me tell you, that is not something you get to do every day. It was hands-on, fun, and honestly one of the most unique experiences I've had, collaborating with another business. The chicken quesadilla was good but could have used a bit more seasoning. It was good sized and stuffed full of chicken, onions, peppers, and cheese.
